^ The alternative is to shoot better content on your normal schedule so that when there is a hiccup you aren't releasing scenes with the girl who takes your order at KFC.
And let's look at that normal schedule, they tossed it out after a few weeks and really they only cut down to four updates per month from five but they still have zero good scenes coming out. They aren't Brazzers who was releasing two scenes per day and could get by with having shit content on most of those days, the sheer volume of scenes they release pretty much guarantees you'll find something you like, on some level anyway. So when a VMG site is asked to only do one scene a week and this is the best they can conjure it means, to me anyway, that things are far worse than we thought even before the pandemic. They got beat up constantly on this board for the lack of quality prior to February and now we have a firsthand view of the stuff they either thought wasn't good enough to release unless they NEEDED some scenes or these were the scenes that were going to be released eventually but got pulled forward due to no more filming.
So what we're seeing now is either so bad they didn't want to release it but had to because the "good" content was already released or this is what they consider good but were going to release later on.
They've learned nothing my friend.

^Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but I don't think the scenes coming out now were shot pre-Covid. I think these scenes, which seem to all come from Julia Grandi, are being shot in Eastern Europe (and probably in the last few weeks) where they are less concerned about pandemic prevention.
Also, I'm not sure what your definition of a good scene is when you say there are zero good scenes coming out. I think this content is okay, but I wish they would contract with some different directors because Julia Grandi is just kind of meh IMO. The Sofi Smile scene, for instance, had zero energy. Such a beautiful girl and the scene was a waste.

^ I make the claim about these being pre-COVID because the vast majority had no names for the video files in the html when they were posted, the code for the scenes always said 'SPARE-SET' for these unknown models but the scenes that we knew were shot and to-be released all had their preset names.

^I just don't see how that's possible. You're talking about having A LOT of content shot way ahead of when it would be posted on the site. I mean, months and months worth of content. No, I don't think so. I think the last two months or so of content was shot relatively recently; that as shooting shut down in the US, VMG reached out to European producers to try and keep new content coming in and that's what they've done. I don't know what the rules are/were for shooting in E. Europe, but I would assume producers there are more likely to break them than they are in the US.
I've heard on the lockdown thread that US producers are shooting again, trying to build up their backlogs before a second COVID wave hits, possibly in the fall. Hopefully we start getting that content soon.

You are of course having a serious laugh here! The great majority of European countries have got this under control by being 'concerned' about it.....in contrast to what seems to be happening in the US!
Based on what I read on different sites then there was a lockdown in Europe and every studio followed the guidelines and they didn't film for the vast majority of the lockdown. That doesn't mean that some independent producers didn't shoot some content but it was done under the board. I suspect that the major producers didn't film and that includes the Vixen Group. You have to remember that shooting a porn scene requires that the performer reach the porn set and unless they live in the city or even the State/Country where the scene is being shot then travel will be involved and last I checked that was not possible during the last few months.
The most obvious explanation is that VG has a bunch of videos they shot in Europe in the last couple of year and they have been using them for most of their most recent schedule.

VMG gets criticized a lot but are there other sites that have similar quality photo sets..

I tend to agree partially, but think at that there's a production shutdown in LA since nearly 4 months. At least that's a part of the reason why we currently see so many East European productions.
Exactly, I have friends working at Tushy in LA and yes they told me last week that they haven't work since 4 months because of the Covid 19 outbreak. So yes Juliana Grandi is a gold mine for them at the moment because she can work with european girls !!! I understand that perfectly, but only don't understand why she is trying make the world believe things which are not true about models performances ....

I actually think it's a terrible idea. For one thing. Allowing another platform access to their content means that they are diluting even more the exclusivity of their product. They already allow sites like Hot Movies to stream and/or sell individual scenes and their prices are similar to what MV charges. Then there's the fact that the videos that MV offer are shorter versions of the actual Tushy/Tushy Raw videos so why would anyone be interested in getting a fairly edited down version for nearly 10$? Especially when you consider that buying 3 of those MV videos is basically the cost of a Tushy membership.
I know that times are hard and producers have to make compromises to stay in business but is allowing MV access to a portion of their library really going to bring in all that much money?
^ I think the answer is rather obvious! If it wasn't likely to bring in extra cash then they wouldn't bother. Also, why should it bother you or me whether they do this? Doesn't affect the quality of the product on the website either way and could even make for better, more exclusive scenes, if they invest any extra cash in getting more top notch performers.
^I doubt it has any effect in the short term but as I have already wrote. The small amount of videos available on MV are still about the same price as the ones on HM but much shorter version of the actual original one so anyone who buys one of those videos may be pissed once he finds out that he got cheated(which he did) and may avoid joining a Vixen Group site because of it or may decide that because he got cheated then he will simply get his porn from so called free sources.
Ultimately porn producers can't afford to lose paying members and offering a poorer version of their product is only got to come back and bite them.
^ Or perhaps they realise that by joining the site they can get better quality longer versions and so decide to join to get the scenes in all their glory in which case Tushy gets a big influx of new customers!
