I have personally been a big LP fan for some years now because: Yes US porn has become soft and LP produces the hardcore content to rival the stuff I used love in american porn during the early to mid 2000's.
What I cant get is why US producers cant replicate what LP has done. My feeling is that it is down to LPs business model that they can produce the content they do. The pay per scene model I am talking about as this is closer to old dvd model. I think website the subscription model incentivized producers to just pump out boring vanilla stuff. However surely American producers can adopt this model to produce the same results.
I would like this to be the case as I would prefer LP to focus on using European talent while an American clone of LP could focus on American talent. I would be equally happy if LP had an American based studio that actually produced great content to match the likes of Giorgio, Gonzo studio and IR vision. Sadly I am not a fan of the American based studio currently working for them. Their use of extreme wide-angle lenses results in some hideous distortion
^If LP was a normal membership type of site then they might be able to split their site into a European performers only version and an American only one but since they use a ticket system then there's no need to do that since you have to use ticket in either way.
It's also important to point out that while they have a decent amount of American performers willing to appear on LP. The ones willing to do the circus acts is still quite small and tiny when compared to their European counterparts. Updates on an American only site would be rare and therefore counter-productive to a American only business model.
That said it's not necessarily all rosy on the European side of things because while they still have a decent amount of new models willing to do those extreme sex acts. LP still relies a great deal on repeat performances from the same small group of performers and that means that if they were to remove Americans from their update schedule then that would be even less new models.

I hate to burst your bubble but from but the idea that the entire US adult industry should move heaven and earth to imitate LP is shortsighted if not outright stupid. Bree Mills, Greg Lansky, Dana Vespoli are just a few of the names that are killing it. Not everyone believe it or not wants to see every scene taken to the extreme. Yes I understand the allure of LP and the everything goes mentality. But piss drinking and males performers receiving rimjobs doesn't do a damn thing for me. I'm grateful that not every studio is rushing to follow LP because that would pretty much the end of the industry as the goal is to have a variety of different flavors and brands for ALL tastes. You misunderstand my point. I only query why there are no longer American producers who produce hardcore content to match what was commonly being produced in the early-mid 2000's. LP has clearly captured this demand because it wasn't being fulfilled by any American producers. Can I ask when you started watching porn? Maybe the younger generation of consumer arent so much into hardcore anal degradation type stuff? I think my first exposure actually came in 1998, full on regular exposure in 2000. Have you tried Max Hardcore's material? I'm not trying to attack you, I used to be a gonzo fan but the problem became the overwhelming repetitiveness. Yes, I am a huge fan of Max hardcore stuff. Particularly his stuff from the 90's which was easily the best anal themed porn produced in America at that time.
