In other news about me that no doubt everyone is interested in, driven by my own review of these European women, I have decided to finally bite the bullet and pay for another MetArt site Sex Art (on top of Viv Thomas and Strap Lez). It basically gives one lesbian scene a week, which is essentially the same deal as Strap Lez and most American sites. Looking through their scenes, I find something really interesting (at least to me) when playing around with the "sort" function. Since Sex Art produces both straight and lesbian scenes, I expect a mix of both. What I found is quite unexpected. For convenience sake, I've just counted among the result on the first page.

When sorting by "Most Viewed," out of 60 results:
- Straight: 45/60, or 75%
- Lesbian: 9/60, or 15%
- Solo/Other: 6/60, or 10%

When sorting by "Top Rated," out of 60 results:
- Straight: 1/60, or 2%
- Lesbian: 38/60, or 63%
- Solo/Other: 21/60, or 35%

So... straight scenes are like big mac/donuts/pizza (you choose them even though you know they are not good for you), and lesbian scenes are like fruits/vegetables/whole grain (you know they are good for you even though you don't choose them)?

Another point about the highest rated solo scenes: one Michaela Isizzu, whom I have never heard of before, stars in whooping 9 out of those 21 scenes! Huh. For pure sex scenes, honestly I think most of the "top girls" (regardless whose list of such we are talking about) would have done well together simply because they are good at what they do, and they are all excellent professionals. Anyway. Again, apologies for the long post, but here's my first serious foray into Sex Art. Today I'll review an interesting scene called "Presence" starring Stella Cardo and Venera, released on 4/29/2022, directed by Andrej Lupin. Hopefully it has not been reviewed before? I've searched for it and nothing turned up.

There are several points of interest about this scene.

- When sorted by "Top Rated," among all lesbian scenes, this is one of the rare ones released this year. Most of the top rated scenes came out 2018 or before. It seems the Sex Art community is every bit as prone to nostalgia as anyone else, but they have made an exception for this one.

- One of the commenters calls this "soft dom," which I think is quite appropriate (or perhaps "faux kink?") It has one woman tied to a bed; but instead of leather and metal, it has silk and cotton; instead of dark and grungy, it's bright and clean; instead of whips and dildos, it's just mouth and fingers. Rather than the somewhat generic cover pic supplied by the website, I've chosen one from their photoset that I think expresses the sense of the scene even better.

- Lastly, one of the stars here is Venera Maxima, the sort of girl whom Aya has expressed "a morbid curiosity" about.

First of all, apologies about the thick black borders. It's the pretentious wide screen thing from Sex Art, nothing I can do (well, I probably can find a way to get rid of them, but I'm too lazy to do it). So the scene starts with a mostly unseen Venera tying Stella up -- this is nicely set up, with a bit of mystery. Fitting with the "soft dom" theme, there's a just a teeny tiny bit of force hinted, as when Venera pulls Stella's legs open, and when she pushes Stella's face to the side to kiss her neck.

The foreplay is essentially Venera playing with a tied down Stella, touching, squeezing, and kissing her all over. The oral sex is arguably part of the foreplay too as it doesn't even last one minute, but the photography makes it look great. It's essentially good foreplay + beautiful lingerie + just a hint of spiciness with the hands tied to the bed. Definitely a matter of personal taste, but I must admit I am infatuated. Lastly, an interesting note: while Venera is in lingerie, Stella is wearing boy shorts (that's actually one of the tags of the scene). It makes me wonder if originally the setup is meant to be even more elaborate, with a femme Verena dominating her "butch" girlfriend. But how do you pass Stella Cardo off as butch?!

The real sex is fingering. Venera does a very nice job here with her two fingers. It lasts a nice and long four and half minutes, taking it through a point where she unties Stella. At the end Stella really seems to orgasm. Also, if it has not been clear before, here the "Art" part of "Sex Art" really comes through -- sure it has closeups of fingers in vagina, but it also has plenty of very beautiful long and overhead shots.

After that there's a brief 69 where I think the energy of the scene dips a bit, until it picks up again near the end with Stella using her mouth and fingers for a long, nicely uninterrupted five minutes on Venera. Unfortunately the scene ends with some pretty bad scissoring (no not even bad tribbing, just the worst kind of scissoring).

Despite some problems (little oral sex from Venera to Stella, the scissoring at the end), overall I really like this scene. Both women look absolutely gorgeous. The tease/foreplay is really hot, especially with Stella tied to the bed (I'm one of those people who will order a spicy dish at a restaurant, but choose "mild" so yeah this is definitely for me). Both women turn out to be really good at fingering (Stella is also good at using her mouth with her fingers). The sex is not the best, but perfectly good enough for this type of scene. The photography definitely lives up to the "Sex Art" name.
