I haven't seen all that much Asian film. I've mostly seen the big titles that have crossed over to the U.S. market. However, I do appreciate a fine-looking man, no matter his race, color or ethnicity.

No, I said I would leave it behind me because it didn't get any responses (I posted that message very early in the thread, and at that time it didn't seem to get much response). Go back and reread my post before drawing incorrect, speculative conclusions.

You had gotten responses at the time. And while many things are opinion, you certainly chose not to address factual points made. In fact, while presenting no evidence to contradict those points, you went on (I believe, I'm not reviewing this thread) to say things quite the opposite.
I got *two* responses at that time, both of which I responded to (one of them was posted in response to your first post). I wouldn't say that two responses is indicative of significant interest. So don't come and tell me that I didn't address your question. Just go back and see for yourself.
Besides, your arguments were based on $$$ = social status and your own experiences with white women. Of course, I don't know whether that's a fact or not, I can only trust your words, but trying to argue that 'yellow fever' has struck in general based on your personal experiences with white girls is a bit flaky, because that doesn't necessarily mean white girls date/sleeps with asian men in general. Besides, I argued that you rarely see white girls and asian men together, although it may depend on where you live (I'd presume that it's more common in places like Chinatown or Koreatown, for example).
The money equals social status is true in many ways, and surveys have shown that asians or people who have asian roots often get a good education and a decent income later on in life. But does solid income and good education among *asian* men equal lots of attraction from white girls? Do white girls consider this more important than the man's asian looks? I don't know really, I just observe that it's rare to see white girls and asian men together.
