Not being able to download the video clips with the only access being streaming has four major drawbacks: 1) The customer must be logged onto the site all the time to view the videos. This is highly inconvenient for people that wish to take the computer or ipod with them to watch the videos at their leasure. 2) There is a good chance that multiple users streaming from the website at the same time will create a major traffic jam, resulting in frustratingly slow viewing speed or disable the site altogether. 3) Streaming makes it very hard for a viewer to jump to his favorite section of the video while skipping the parts he does not want to see. 4) The above inconveniences may frustrate a customer to the point that he will ditch the website completely. On the other hand, rotating old content intices the customer to stay with the site for a long time if he wishes to see all the content. Also, if the current database is large enough, I don't see a good reason for complaint.
Kinbakubi, I definitely agree with what you are saying. Only allowing members to stream is a bad idea in many many ways. We definitely need to build up more content and once we have a good amount we will take down old content while putting up new ones. I definitely like the idea you have for update with new scenes on the main site and rotate old scenes in a seperate archive. The older scenes can also be made available for sale seperately If you think about it, having 50+ HD scenes on the site is not bad at all for someone who only pays $19.99 to join the site. All our upcoming scenes will be in downloadable Hi Def (Hi Def is not possible yet through stream). If you go and buy a blue-ray High Def porn DVD will cost you $50 and you will only get 4-5 scenes!
I also want to answer to your post earlier. There is no doubt that Men's status does affect relationships and marriage and people do tend to date other people of their own ethnicity... all except for Asian women. We do have a problem, and this is assured. Let’s go back to solvency and men's status topic. Most of us will not make it to be a millionaire or even make anything close to 100,000/year, let’s just face it. Most of us will end up middle class, which is just about as well off as any men of any other ethnicity, especially white, can be. Status speaking, indeed, some will reap the benefits of being wealthy, but most won't. Aside from that, another question is what status can males obtain between the ages of 15-30? Mostly nothing... most guys barely start working after graduating college at age of 24 or 25. This means many young Asian guys out there and our sons will have a very high chance of living a very lonely first half of their lives assuming that they will make something for them selves the 2nd half of their lives. Of course some guys can get women regarless, but I'm speaking for the mass. My family is all in China and all my friends were with their families on thanksgiving so I went to a resturant to have a lonely thanksgiving dinner. I sat at the table by my self and at the table next to me is a proud Asian girl with her white boy friend having dinner with her parents. I was sitting there thinking to my self, damn if I'm not a pornstar I would really feel sorry for my self right now... LOL The good news is the American media is slowly changing. HungLo you're thinking too much from a business point of view and because of that you're missing reality. You have to look at it from a fan point of view. Ok I just do not believe this statement at all. It is all in one's mindset. Here in Toronto for example, I see lots of White Women dating Asian Men. In fact I would say that Asians are the more popular men and women who are dating outside thier race. Keni Styles is doing pretty well for himself. Seems like he's in huge demand and is definitely making a name for himself in the United States. The trend of limiting porn-scene pairings to hot girls + block-headed body-building monsters in Western porn sucks. Now I am of the firm opinion that most guys look pretty ghastly, and that even the best-looking ones derive whatever looks they have from being more physically 'femininized,' but these guys they get for Western porn are especially repellent, with their over-sized thighs and biceps, and the multitude of grotesque 'bumps' covering every inch of their bodies; they rather look like sausages with far too much meat for their casings. Asian porn guys are mostly fugly as well -- as is the nature of guys -- but at least their proportions aren't so ridiculous, and they take up less precious screen real-estate that could otherwise be devoted to the girls. They usually don't get, or take, the opportunity to mug for the camera like the male 'talent' in Western productions do. So yeah, as far as all that goes, I prefer porn stars being paired with Asian performers.
