No need to Thank me. I've seen it happen to some of the other girls that went through the DP contract route. It's common for them to hold on to the movie for months if not years. I'm not exactly sure why they do it but they are still using contract stars and are also still in busines so it must work for them. I'm also quite certain that you are monitored on what you can and cannot say as Bibi Jones. That is usually part of the contract. I think the lesson to learn is that using Twitter to post info can be a double edged sword. I have been a member on a bunch of them and I've reviewed a bucnh of them as well. I'm going to list a few things that I consider to be important. 1-The site has to have a large amount of content. That means multiple Gigs of data. 2-The site has to update on a regular basis with pics and videos. At the very least once a week for each format and better if it's twice a week for each format. 3-Content has to be exclusif. You can have a percentage of leased material but it should be less than 30%. 4-The pics should be in HD and there should be a good mixture of personal stuff like day to day things, some glamour shots and pics from your video shoots. 5-The videos resolution should be at the very minimum in 64 hex 480 but 768x432 would be better and a major plus if they are also offered in HD 128 hex 720. 6-Videos should be streamable and downloadable. 7-A professional should be behind the camera to film the content and take the pics. 8-You can offer some cam stuff but it should be in limited quantity because frankly cam content is at best poor to average. **I'm adding this last one but it will never happen while you're under contract with DP** 9-You should reserve certain sex acts for your site like anal, dp's and whatever else you think your fans want to see and you are comfortable doing.
I'll add my 2 cents to this as well (but just a few of the points: I TOTALLY agree with #9 ... but again, with your contract, very doubtful that can happen, but I'm sure we would ALL like seeing something that shows somne separation from DP Cant really agreee with #7 as this is the part where I'm a quassi expert at ... if a professional shoots it, then she has to pay that out of her pocket ... you have to remember that she'll pay hosting fees, bandwidth, talent fees (which always AMAZES me that guys ask for $$$ to participate) etc ... it all cost $$$ and that means it all comes out of what she makes. Nowadays the cameras we can get in the stores shoot fairly good pics, the videos, that's a TOTALLY different ballgame. Videos will only be as good as the bandwidth that the host supports. As for content ... the way we used to do it was setup for a day of shooting, we would take glamour/solo shots for round 1 ... then do some "teaser" shots for the "action" uploads and then action shots with videos. That's 3 usuable bits of content from 1 single outfit/session ... you roll that up into two times a day (depending on the talent you have available) and now you are looking at 6 updates that took 1/2 of a day. BB will have appearances, signings, and of course professional shoots that oocupy most of her time, so when you do something that would last about a month in web content in an afternoon, then it becomes more managable for her webmaster. The #1 issue that we had when we were doing this, believe it or not, was finding GUYS! Verification and release forms pretty much killed 75% of our applicants ... then there's the 10% that are completely undesireable that couldnt be used ... which leave 15% to pick from ... 2/3 of those were not comfortable with shooting with other guys and of that portion 1/2 of THOSE couldnt perform under pressure. BB (btw, I won't use the new name as I like your original one...haha) If I could make ANY suggestion for the website, it would be find reliable guys (preferably non-industry people who are OK with having their names on file, but also can remain anonymous with the use of "targeted camerawork") who can perform and handle the start-stop-more-start-stop-cum difficulties of shooting. POV stuff always works best as it gives the viewer a sense of being there ... it will be too costly to shoot 60FPS scenes as a start up website (but if any of you have ever watched something shot or coded that way, you'll all know it's just as good as seeing it live) so I would stick with the aformentioned video size for the beginning then play around with it later down the road. MPEG4 is the preferred download filetype as it keeps resolution associated with filesize down. FINALLY ... when you tour ... bring a HD Videocamera with you ... shoot some "meet a fan" POV stuff and use it on the site ... that always works weel plus you are doing this in your PERSONAL life (since it's not shot with other performers) ... that might be a way to get around the DP contract.
