Blacked originally featured a lot of passion in many of its scenes and that's what made it great. Hard to portray passion when they prefer to show positions where the couples aren't even facing. Yeah, let's show a bunch of hooker sex with the dudes looking at the back of the girls' heads....boring. They are even stand-offish in the missionary part of the scene. A 40 minute scene and not even one second of cowgirl for Liya to show off her ass(which is better than Jia's), just a bunch of that reverse crap, which is so stupid looking. What a waste. [Link]

What's most difficult to understand is why VMG would allow the person directing to double dip by also being the person supplying the talent, as it were, thereby giving that one person way too much power while the expected results are far, far from what the brand is known for. They had a great director who stopped doing what he was best at in order to party and let the brands drop off. It seemed like a feature film The high quality of the camera and location. The actors. Then the sex scene: At many parts of the movie I had to use my imagination. I wondered if they really have sexual intercourse or not. It can't be possible that you put a high quality camera on a tripod and think the shoot will resolve itself. You would have had to use at least a third camera for close-ups or other perspectives. Or you should use the main camera sometimes in a Gonzo manner, walking around the actors. And also use the zoom more often. There is no sign of that. Everything seems rigid and lifeless. Like in an erotic film on TV. I had to close my eyes more often. They should hire a professional camera man/woman do the work. @ killbillvol69 I don't mean that disrespectful. Just constructive. If a lot of people turn away from the label in spite of beautiful models and ambience, that would be a great pity. [Link]
