So sorry to hear about your experiences there Clayra. There was some blog posts a few months back by a performer named Charlie Ann that had a bad experience with the FA guys. Since I don't really know her, I wasn't sure of the credibility of the info. But your experiences and your credibility show that this is very real. A young 18 year old model that I helped get started this summer was being pushed to shoot for FA by one of those so called "agents" that you mention. She needed money pretty bad at the time and was thinking about taking the offer. Thankfully she heeded my advice and didn't shoot for them. Can you imagine an inexperienced 18 year old shooting with them as one of her first pro porn shoots??? No wonder so many of these young girls are leaving the biz so quickly! Clyara I hope you have a terrific Thanksgiving with your family and I am very much looking forward to seeing you again on film. Whether it be adult films or otherwise. Don't let go of your dream. The other night I was watching HBO and I saw an actress I remember from way back at least 10 to 15 years back and I remember I loved watching her on adult film. Wow, you guys never fail to bring a smile to my face! First, with local folks like Robert and Greg around, I know I'm not quite done shooting stuff. After I got home, I saw what I looked like and I must have listened to Metallica's cover of TURN THE PAGE a dozen times (have you seen the video, damn). Jenna Haze recently pointed out that there are plenty of girls in this biz who don't do it as prostitutes and who just want to create hot performances. That video had my mind reeling because it's about a porn star/hooker who gets beaten up. I'm not that girl though. My attitude and outlook are more like Jenna's and always will be. As always it's going to be a matter of figuring out how to get where I need to be. When I started about a year ago, I learned the hard way that LA slows down from now until about the AVNs. At the AVNs, a lot of people shoot in hotel rooms. That's also the week of my daughter's birthday, so I'm not really sure about flying out. Sometimes family is more important than work, you know? This year I at least know not to listen to some bozo with an agency, and I won't be flying out there to sit around and do nothing for a week. Love the Christmas pic. That's what keeps me coming back for more discussions. Plus it's terrific that you are able to interact with all of us despite all of the other things you have going on. I am glad you are a responsible parent and soooo level headed it's amazing how you can remain stable while dabbling in an enviroment full of unstable people, but I guess you just have to know who to listen to and hang around with and who to stay away from. Sorry it took me so long, been a bit distracted. So, my family. There's a complex set of ideas when it comes to family. My immediate family: Well, the man knows obviously, and usually I get him off while he's watching a new scene of mine. It's like full service porn! We talk about every nuance of every shoot. I have a damned strong relationship because of all the communication between us. For his part, he just tries to stay back and do his own thing so as to avoid the label "suitcase pimp", but he does help me check things out and track down leads when I ask. That's probably the best description that I can give. My kids: The two littlest have no clue. The eldest knows I model (as that's where most of my work comes from still) and would prefer to remain in the dark. This is a kid who still picks up the Victoria Secret catalog by the corners like a dirty diaper, so the puberty thing hasn't taken hold and he avoids the stuff. My mom: I told my mom exactly what I do. She got all sentimental, was understanding, and we had a great heart to heart. Then, a few months later, she forgot. Seriously, she forgot. It's more a problem of location really. I'm in the Chicago area. Not too many people shoot in the area, so I'd need to travel. That costs money up front. It also makes folks less likely to book me in LA because they usually prefer to book when they have 100% confirmation on when a model will be in town. I prefer to not fly out to LA for a week and sit around waiting for someone to book me because I've lost money doing that. That said, I AM with an agent, and I've actually worked with a few: Giirlz inc: First agent I contacted. Nice people, couldn't find work for me at the time. They have a 100% exclusivity clause, which would mean I couldn't keep booking my own work in the Midwest (where I live). GoldStar Modeling: Had issues with Joel. Was with them when they repped about 80-90 girls. They've since cut back in order to better rep the girls they want to. That was a good move for both them and the girls. Foxxx Modeling: Another nice guy, but I think he also had too many girls to properly rep. I barely talked to them and left after a few months with no bookings. OC Modeling: Was with them for barely a month when they dropped me. They switched management, and Phil Mack (the new management) decided they would only rep girls who would be 100% exclusive with them. Not being willing to let me book my own modeling gigs in the Midwest, we parted ways. LA Direct: Not interested in working with me. Metro Talent: Contacted me, but then dropped off the face of the earth. ValleyBabesXXX: I'm technically still with them, but then we get into the problem of location. I've said in the past that an agent isn't 100% necessary, and they aren't, but they can certainly help. Immoral Productions doesn't take chances and pretty much only shoots girls they can book through agents. I've also worked with a few companies that would prefer to book without an agent, so it works both ways.

So I would think most established porn people would already know what they are getting into. For the ones who are new and quit after doing one scene with them maybe in the long run that is better. Like what they used to do when they bring kids to prison to scare them into not being a delinquent. Allie Foster on her twitters said she quit because she was pregnant wanted to work a real regular job(All public info I goggled it to see @hts666 was right since i didnt know she quit) also She did Facial Abuse *twice* so it couldn't have been that bad to her.

I find it funny in that someone who doesn't agree with *any* type of porn would probably also say any man who buys porn is not a man etc. Are women who order MMA/boxing shows not really women because they like to see men beat each other? I think if FA or any other site that does this type of scene has in their contract that you may go home blind (ie..bleeding into the eyes because we accidentally hit you to hard), permanently disfigured (ie...broken nose), etc.. you may have a valid point. If they don't then a line of expectation has been crossed. To say that "they" knew what they were getting into without such warning is to say the least, leaves a bit to be desired in my humble opinion. Others are free to disagree, be my guest. Robert

Also how do you feel about femdom sites that beat up men badly? I saw a femdom clip where women kick guy so badly his ball sack was swollen like 3x the normal size. My point on Kink was not to single them out but was using YOUR example, non-porn people think ALL porn is degrading to woman(excluding femdom and gay porn which they don't seem to care about). To me your non-sequitur is porn = respect. IMO by nature it's degrading, even to some extent for the male performers(and in femdom it's very degrading to men). When i say real job I consider all actors,musicians and athletes or anyone in entertainment(producing etc) as not real jobs. People with more knowledge,skill and societal benefits make less than they do(and my theory on why the economy is tanking). Well, you lost me here. One volunteering for the armed services "HAS" a reasonable expectation to be deployed, in a war zone, at any time after training. As far as paying the women better, I think you need to research a bit more.
