Yes that certainly does answer my questions. It would be nice to some day see a website that everyone in porn and porn newbies can access voluntarily and without fear of legal reprise so as to level the porn playing field so to speak. This would help weed out all the seedy agents, primadonna actors/actresses and pushy film makers. For instance a performer can take a short survey after the shoot and rate the agent and the filmmaker on how everything went. Similarly a film maker can have their fair say in a survey about which performer/s they would use again and which ones are just not plain even worth contacting. All of this done with the common understanding that they may not like what they hear (most would probably know it's coming good or bad anyways). I am kinda surprised with all of the tools of the internet this site isn't already out there. We the fans would be the beneficiaries in the long run because I think it would keep some of our favorite performers out there knowing what avenues they need to take and who they have a better chance of trusting.

Stalking people on Twitter, sites like How To Be A Pornstar and Porn Star Performance and generally doing a lot of homework helps a lot. Of course, the man I[m with is a researcher/writer by profession, so he was able to dig all this up for me when I decided to go into this profession, and I'm sure most girls don't have that. A site like you're talking about would help a lot of newbies do things right I think. There's also the classic stand-by "word of mouth", and believe me, I've called girls like Kendra Star and Sophie Dee when I've come across something I wasn't sure about. Having friends ALWAYS helps! Part of the problem is that a lot of porn is made in LA, and everyone has a very secretive "don't hurt anyone's feelings" kind of thing going. It's different from the midwest where people just up and tell you you're no good or people complain openly about bad experiences, but I think that's a regional thing, not a porn thing... @Rocky & Below Thanks boys! Wow you are just a walking encyclopedia of porn. Too bad not all actresses have the benefit of knowledge and assistance that you have come equipped with. My idea was more akin to the link you have provided for Pornstarperformance.com kind of the way they do on Ebay where the merchant and the buyer can rate each other for all to see and this would be the universal too used for porn. I think it would solve a lot of the troubles you come across, although obviously there isn't any tool to prevent either performer or film maker from getting less than what they felt they bargained for, but yes this is the idea. Too bad it's not a universally spread concept.

BTW good links, pass them around I believe Anita Blue and Cindi Loo had a shoot on Blacks on Blondes that was also out of this world. Did you mention to the guys from blacks on blondes to put in a good word at performanceonporn? I don't know much of how you interacted with the producer and others on the set but my guess from looking at the scene was it all went terrific so it would be nice to also see your name on there and a place where other producers can contact you. Amusing storis to read about the other side of porn something us fans seldom get to see.
Actually, I don't know that Billy Watson has been on the performance website in a while. I know I've never been mentioned, but I've plumbed through it to get an idea of who is who in the industry and what different producers are looking for. Porno Dan, for example, is mostly interested in working with younger girls who aren't drama prone. In any case, I don't know that the site gets used that much, but it is really a great idea! :)

Man, kind of a heavy question, but here goes: The best way you can help her out, in the short term at least, is be there to take the baby off her hands once in a while for a few minutes. I can't tell you how grateful I am to not be a single mom. There's days that I get so stressed out, I'm happy that I've got someone to take over for me when I need a break. Friends and family can help out a hell of a lot just by being able to take some of the load off. New moms and dads, even the not single ones, are torn, because on the one hand they love this little bundle of joy they've brought home, but on the other the same bundle of joy wants, even requires, constant attention. When my daughter finally started sleeping through the night, I wanted to throw a damn party. It passes relatively quickly, but those first few months can really be insane. Now, in the long term, if you're just friends and it's going to stay that way, pop by every now and then as the kid grows just to be a supportive uncle type figure. Kids can get really attached though, and if there's something that develops between you and her, make sure you both keep the kid in mind. If it isn't going to work out long term, the two of you might want to keep in mind it could break three hearts if it ended badly. On a lighter, sex related note, if you guys are just FWBs, help her take off some of that stress when she's ready :) Also, IUD is the best birth control I've ever had, and for her sake, not having to worry about the next kid may be a god send :) Hope that helps! Yeah, I think it's safe to say <bClayra</b had a good time. Please excuse my shaky hand. At one point, I was trying to shoot video and photos at the same time. Also, I have no idea how long this clip will stay posted on yfrog. I made sure not to post it to Twitter, so hopefully there won't be any complaints filed.
Best part was when security showed up... and proceeded to get shots with their own cameras. When asked if they were supposed to do anything aboit this, one guard just replied, "Hey, this is the most entertaining thing I've seen all day." By the end of Saturday's show, it became apparent that this is how security and floor policies should be at all adult shows in the US. Basically, as long as the girls are consentually taking their tops off and allowing fans to grope them for photos, then it's all good. Security only acted up when a couple guests got disorderly and out of control.
That isn't how it works at all conventions? Looks like you had a hell of a good time. I hope a lot of producers were able to see all that you have to offer and you got to make some good contacts. Sunny Lane was also one of my faves but I hadn't seen any new movies lately. Did she take a break from adult film, or something?

Clayra, I'm curious who came up with the Clara Bow connection. She was born in 1906, and most people here probably don't know what I'm talking about!
Actually, I was watching an HBO special with Katie Morgan about the history of the adult industry, and it came up then. I was still in school and my man was writing his thesis on the history of art and film, and he knew straight away who she was, so I was able to read and learn more about her and thought she was cool. When it came time to pick a "porn name" I decided to change the spelling and go for it as a sort of homage. It isn't a reference a lot of people catch, but it's cool when it happens. It's like an Easter egg :)
