I agree with everyone talking about the performance aspect but people tend to forget that from action movies to legal procedural series on mainstream TV like JAG back in the day or almost any Jean Claude Van Damme flick, you have to dress it up. Nobody would watch a show like JAG if they never left the courtroom, we're rarely looking for any on screen fight that looks overly real because it's not exciting enough. I've seen MMA and those B grade action movies, the B grade action movies are more fun to watch because of the showmanship and the same applies to porn. Now admittedly, there's been a progression to stuff that looks more acceptably and potentially real like Jason Statham's work for example or Wesley Snipes, I've noticed the same progression in porn and I love watching and hearing it because it's so much hotter to think that something like that could be happening in your own neighborhood somewhere lol.
