It seems like Uma might be going on that list too since she cancelled yet another scene last minute without notice, which is going to prove interesting if she's still eligible for GOTY since the is her third strike from what I can remember, at least. ^^^I'd like to see how far certain performers popularity can carry them in terms of being unprofessional at Girlsway. But one girl's cancellation is another's opportunity to fill in and earn brownie points with Girlsway.

I'm not sure what would compel someone to cancel a scene without notice, but it could be a blessing in disguise in terms of giving new girls opportunities. One of my biggest complaints of girlsway is the lack of new talent.
I don't think the performer who replaced Uma was someone new, but I do agree...it would be nice to see more performers who's never or rarely worked with GW before. I believe Arya Fae worked with GW very recently tho.

Although the bulk of scenes are with popular performers picked by members, Girlsway does give a fresh faces a shot regularly. They recently got Lena Anderson, Allie Eve Knox, Anya Olsen, Olivia Lua, Riley Nixon, Giselle Palmer, etc. And sometimes it works out well and they get girls who fit right in like Angela White, Mona Wales, and Eliza Jane. And although it may take a while, they do give more established names a shot like Jayden Cole and Lily Labeau. Heck, it took them a while to get Georgia Jones, and now she's a GOTM. Personally, I hope they soon shoot girls like Silvia Saige, Riley Reyes, Cory Chase, Alex Harper, Sofi Ryan, and Moka Mora. I think these girls are the type that could fit right in with the Girlsway style.
Disappointing performance by Bella Rose in her recent scene with Brandi Love. Bella has been shooting more porn lately and hoped to see a confident and enthusiastic effort. Instead, we got tepid. It's a small sample size, but Bella is definitely more at ease in b/g scenes. I enjoy her twitter and she has a nice body. I won't give up on her as a g/g performer just yet. Looking forward to the Lena, Scarlett, and Elsa scene that is to be released soon. Story sounds fun and they are all too young to be stepmoms, thank goodness.
^ While I didn't see much in Bella's performance that gave me hope for future performances, I didn't think Brandi was all that great either. I didn't like her scene with Elsa (but the script did hold that back) and she was the weak link in the threesome between her, Chanel, and Eliza. It's also kind of baffling to me a contracted g/g performer could have nails that long. I get that she's contracted and the fact that she's comfortable shooting fake incest that she'll show up a lot, but I can't say I have been all that impressed with her this year. A few other points of discussion: - One thing about the whole "no shoot" thing with Uma related to her popularity: While she does have popularity with the members and a GOTM, Alan said on the forum he basically had an intervention about her being on time and prompt last month, and for her to do this again I can't imagine will sit well. There's also the fact that Aidra Fox's whole situation started with something similar to this (it got uglier and I don't know the full story beyond that) and I wouldn't even call it a contest that Aidra is the overall more popular of the two. It still took 3 years for Aidra to shoot again for Alan, and even that was only an AGM scene. Point being, I can see him try again, but after all he's done to try and work with her and to be let down over and over I wouldn't be surprised if he just says enough is enough. - Morgan's right in that this cancellation didn't spawn a debut. He says they got lucky Carter Cruise didn't have plans that night and just shot two scenes with her and Brandi. - It's a hard balance for debuts and regulars when the site doesn't update every day. Even more so when you have to fill the fake incest niche with a certain number of scenes every month. Finding models that are comfortable shooting that fetish isn't the most difficult in terms of the younger performers, but GW has basically tapped the well dry for milfs at this point. That crowd is REALLY hard to please, and lately it seems like they're getting worse. I can see why you'd want to give them familiar performers since they do make up a big portion of the member base, and this allows for more creativity in terms of the other content. And whether it works all the time or not, I still applaud taking chances and not turning the site into what it seems like the b/g is and just being a fake incest site with a bit of a twist. Still, this leaves less slots open for new girls even before factoring in keeping fan favorites booked enough that their fans will stay subscribed to the site. I think it's at the point where it's almost as good as it's going to get under the current format and either a reduction on the fake incest stuff (which won't happen) or bringing in another director to fill out the last two days of the week and update the site daily are the best options in terms of balancing new and fan favorite talent.
I honestly don't get having 3 (similar) performers under contract. Lesbian X barely updates once a week, Sweetheart puts out 1-2 movie/4-8 scenes pr month which limits the amount of time you can use the 3 performers without going overboard and as far as I know Brandi, Alexis and Cherie have only done MG scenes for GW whilst under contract (which is all GW would book them for anyway). It honestly seems like a waste... While they continue to let performers show up on set with those long sharp fingernails just baffles me. I can't say I know anything about what went on with the whole Aidra Fox situation. All I remember is her tweeting about never working with GW again a few years ago. And true, Uma might never work for GW again, but with her popularity on I just wouldn't rule anything out. Much like with the whole Ryan Ryans situation, without knowing why Uma flaked I can't really comment that much on whether or not she should be given more chances tho. Casting...I'll admit, most of my frustration castingwise probably has more to do with GW not only booking performers I like. It's not something I expect or demand of course, but it is frustrating to see performers I like and think are good at g/g nowhere to be seen whilst someone like Darcie Dolce keeps getting booked. Eh...I've mostly given up on voting for and requesting performers anyway. Part of the problem might be that the release schedule sometimes seems...less than planned out. While I don't see another increase in updates happening anytime soon, would that really help much in terms of balancing new and fan favorite performers? Since the fake incest stuff seems to be popular, I would imagine that a possible increase in updates would also lead to a increase in family roleplay content. ^^Hmm, Bella Rose isn't all that experienced in G/G in general. Giving her a 3rd chance may not be wise at this point. Maybe she needs some lesbian training in a less demanding G/G environment like say Girlfriends films with some experienced performers. Then go to the All Girl Massage farm league before getting another shot. I've also personally have never been a big fan of Brandi Love outside of her being on the receiving end of a Strap-On. Interesting insight on the Aidra Fox situation. Still boggles my mind how simply showing up for a shoot is so difficult for some. I mean Ryan Ryans all but disappeared from porn after burning those bridges. But those reliable girls who are willing to fill in look all the better in GirlsWay's eyes, which I think might be one of the backdoor ways Darcie has been able to be booked so much. Remains to be seen if this will be the last straw with Uma Jolie. And Yep, Girlsway is running out of "Mommy's". Not surprising since some Milf performers have stated in the past how uncomfortable they are with those type of scenes. And I wonder if being shoehorned into that role is why Julia Ann hasn't been back. I think the women I suggested like Silvia Saige, Cory Chase, or even a Ryan Keely could help replenish the supply. It's also interesting to all the praise performers are expressing on Twitter from doing Pure Taboo scenes. Wouldn't mind seeing a little bit of that #PowerofActing implemented on GirlsWay. I still believe there is room for those types of scenes.
Bella Rose's scene with Ryan Conner for Kittens & Kougars 10 was good. Like most 'starlets' she probably needs to be paired with a performer who is willing to give her a lot of attention and take control. Not to just go through the motions.

Without them being exclusive to Mile High/Gamma for b/g content too, I'm struggling to see why making them exclusive really makes sense. ^^ I can't believe they haven't brought in Cory Chase yet. Her whole brand is the fake incest stuff, so she already has a built-in fanbase there. I know Bree and Alan in the past have said Julia's schedule is what makes it difficult for them to bring her in, and she does do the fake incest stuff elsewhere so I do tend to believe them on that point. Also I don't think you'll be seeing anything that dark on GW. More serious scenarios sure, but people freak out in darker scenes because the rest of the content isn't like that, and the content that is darker has not been handled very well in the past both aesthetically and logically. Obviously I have no way of knowing, but it seems like the majority of the hype around PT is from the performers and not the fans. I don't know where a new site should be in terms of building members after a month, but the view counts don't seem all that different than what Pretty Dirty had. I think there's a disconnect that the majority of their target audience only really cares about the sex acts and the rest is window dressing to get to that point and no amount of branding or trying is going to bring those fans on unless there's anal/DP etc.
That's a shame too, because Aidra and Ryan are two of my favorite performers. Would've loved to see new content from them. And maybe just because I'm a huge fan of hers, I wouldn't mind seeing Chanel Preston ushered in for the whole "mom/stepmom" thing. She's perhaps not old enough to be a fully-fledged milf, but she really excels in those stepmom/family roles. Not bad acting chops either. Is the Mommy well really that dry? After her first scene I'm surprised Lynn Vega isn't a regular, I thought Tegan James was pretty good in her scenes with Kate England and Angela Sommers hasn't had a scene in ages. Even tho I find her acting style a bit too porny and over the top sometimes Chanel Preston is another good choice and while I can't say I'm the biggest fan of her current hairstyle, but why Ryan Keely hasn't been booked yet is disappointing. More Mona Wales would be great too. I'm probably less picky than the Mommy Brigade tho. Pure Taboo style stuff on Girlsway? Personally I'd give that a pass, just not something I'm interested in. I would like to see a scene where they explore the dom/sub dynamic in a (sexual) relationship.
While I do agree with the general opinion on Darcie that seems to be the consensus here on the forum, I think we need to remember that we are a more "enthusiast" crowd than the average porn watcher or buyer. On more casual communities like Reddit people aren't as critical on the actual sex and focus a lot more on looks. And Darcie is VERY attractive, quite a bit more than the average performer in my opinion. So on those communities you see people praising her and wishing she shot more scenes, both more g/g and the endlessly teased b/g. Of course GW places a lot of weight on what current members want but they also obviously want to attract new customers, and if she's easy to work with then it's icing on the cake. That's my 2 cents anyways. Not sure about Pure Taboo type scenes but It'd be interesting to see some scenes a different aesthetic and camerawork, might not be well received though if most members are too used to Alan's current style.

Plus it also hurts the other networks with older/younger themed g/g sites like Reality Kings' Moms Lick Teens and Mom Knows Best from Twisty's. Team Skeet's Dyked also features milf/teen pairing quite a bit. Can't say I like the idea. Competition will usually lead to better scenes.
^ It's weird since GFF distributes Girlsway DVD's so you wouldn't think there's any sort of rivalry there, but I do think since the contracts are based with Mile High and GW just reaps some of the benefits, the bad blood between Mile High and GFF from way back when Sweetheart was founded could be a factor. Those smaller sites aren't really putting out enough content to be much of a factor if these three models can't shoot for them, but GFF puts out multiple older/younger scenes and/or full releases a month and those three are very popular with that fanbase. It's also a bit suspect that while GW has taken full advantage and brought in Alexis, Brandi, and Cherie often, they haven't really popped up too much on Sweetheart (and I don't think Cherie and Alexis shot their LX scenes after they signed their contracts, but I could be wrong). I'm sure they'll show up more as the year goes on, but they didn't even say something like they did with Brandi last year that they'd be added to the "Loves Girls" series along with the fact that there's so many g/g only girls they could have signed, but they picked the specific models that could hurt GFF the most. I think if they contracted someone like a Serena Blair, Celeste Star, or even Vanessa Veracruz (now that she's back on GW) along with these other three it wouldn't look as suspicious, but ignoring g/g only models and letting them shoot b/g elsewhere just makes it really suspicious.
^Very astute. Those 3 were putting in work at GFF, especially Alexis Fawx. Maybe a positive benefit will be forcing GFF to not rely so much on the older-younger genre and shoot more non-Milf models. Or, it could just lead to them having to find new women to replace them, which seems to working in the case of Cory Chase who seems to be getting pretty comfy over there quickly. I also saw that Kink's Dee Williams of all performers shot with them too.

on GW casting: When you put out 5 scenes a week, a poorly received scene isn't a big deal. I encourage them to take chances on casting decisions. Try to introduce a new face to the site every week or two. The loyal members get their weekly dose of the familiar in bulk. Look in the direction of ftv girls, many of the scrumptious talent passes through there.
on Ryan Ryans: Not long after entering porn, Ryan was talking about exiting. It was hard to believe she was ever going to be a long timer in the business. Her actions were simply a reflection of that attitude. Some were disappointed with the aborted comeback, but none should have been surprised. on All Girl Massage: There may have been a time when AGM was inferior (dialogue) to GW. But, is there any difference now? I can't see it. It's Girlsway with a little bit of oil. As for most viewers, I think they care far more about who plays the daughter/young babe. This exclusive contract thing is just inside baseball to them.
^ The fact that neither Alan nor Bree answers why can't All Girl Massage be included on the Girlsway package, even if the price has to be a little higher is one of the few negatives about Girlsway I could point on my first year there. There are quite a few messages on Girlsway forum about that, but as far as I remember, I have never seen an answer. This is true for me but I think it is also true for quite a few other fans: AGM is in a network basically made of B/G content and I won't subscribe to that network even if they start releasing 2 G/G scenes a week. Bring AGM to Girlsway, even if in a special package exclusive for Girlsway members and you'll probably end up with a very good number of new subscribers.
^&^^, it's true it would be a no-brainer to have All Girl Massage under the Girlsway umbrella. It could easily be one of their 5 weekly updates. But I suspect there is some tangled agreement that All Girl Massage has to be part of the Fantasy Massage umbrella. Heck it's getting to the point, where I think they have already used Pseudo-All Girl Massage scenes as Girlsway updates. The Upcoming The Oil Shoot with Vanessa Veracruz and Serena Blair could easily be an All Girl Massage scene.
Girlsway for me are still the leaders of G/G porn at this time. I agree All Girl Massage should be included with the site at an increased price due to the similarities. There are sites which are close but either dont have as many updates or back catalogue. For the 4 years or so of filming scenes on GW the quality overall is excellent.

Darcie not being a good performer is one thing. If she was paired with a girl I really like it probably is something I could ignore if I really wanted to. The bigger issue, for me at least, is that it never really seems like she wants to be there. To me it always just seems like she's going thru the motions and just wanting the scene to end so she can get paid and go home.
Darcie did couple of scenes near the beginning of her time at GW which were good but since most are run of the mill. Few other G/G stars also follow the pattern of a good start but then follow up with average scenes.
If Darcie's performances were half as good as her self-promotion, she'd be a huge star. She rallys and B/G teases her fans, and flirts with other performers all the time on Twitter. But I agree that her AGM scene with Adriana Sephora is the only one I can recall where she seemed genuinely turned on and into it. Adriana cracked her code and showed how hot Darcie can be if she drops the performance and just lets go. Aya, it's true that the oil scene with Vanessa and Serena could be on the AGM but as far as I remember was a member's idea and it was discussed a lot on the forum so it's safe to say it is some kind of "experiment" on GW after the theme being talked so much on the forum. About AGM not being part of Girlsway, I believe your explanation is the right one. Yet, they should look for a way to offer ONLY AGM to Girlsway fans.
