I seriously don't see Girlsway members as "blind" as everybody says they are. I'm a part of Girlsway for almost a year and sometimes members can really be critical on the smallest details. We all have favorite models, favorite positions, favorite scenarios and as far as I can tell, most of us are free to speak up on the forum over there, bringing a lot of different opinions to the table. Yeah, there is a lot of compliments as well: as I said over there a thousand times, my favorite Girlsway feature is communication. NO other site has something like that at their level. You can write scripts, talk to the actresses, to the director, to the editors and they actually hear they members. Every fan of Reality King's We Live Together only dream about it and it's sad because they brought that site to almost nothing nowadays and maybe if they heard the fans, the post Malena Morgan era could've been as successful as the one they left behind. If Vampires is not the best Girlsway's feature (I can't say cause I haven't watched them all) I still think it's pretty good. Most of the complains here are about the acting and the script. I honestly say that the script is ok for me - it's better than almost anything out there in porn. The acting could be better, I agree, but I don't see it all with bad eyes. Let's wait for parts 4 and 5: I'm sure both Angela will bring her A game to the series and Jelena will continue to be good on her part (she is my favorite character of the series so far - perfect cast in my opinion).
I think there are a few reasons why there are times why when something's mediocre or poor, the reaction on the forums isn't quite as willing to call them out on it. First, there are definitely certain fanbases, specifically Shyla's, that think their favorite performer can do no wrong and will defend them to a ridiculous level. This includes showering praise and downvoting any criticism to where it's hard to have one's voice heard. Someone in the comments for her scene with Kristen Scott actually said to criticism of Shyla's acting "You obviously missed Shyla's subtle interpretation of an extremely complex and difficult role which few actresses would have even attempted." which is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody is going to want to give criticism when that's the response, as their voice won't properly be heard. The other reason I think at least for myself I can be hesitant to give criticism if one of the models that didn't give a great performance is one of my favorites is that Alan is too fast to stop booking someone if there's a single performance that leaves a little to be desired despite a great track record or star potential. Elsa Jean had some criticism thrown her way about her pussy eating, and Alan didn't book her again for almost a year. Blair Williams, Kleio Valentein, Vicki Chase, Jillian Janson, and Casey Calvert are excellent performers and genuine stars, but scenes either not having stories that the members liked or the scenes not getting the overwhelming star power reactions has led to situations in the case of Jillian where she's been nominated for POTY and best g/g scene since she's been shot for GW. People got really upset about Bree Daniels' religious scene with Jenna J Ross and she still hasn't shot for GW this year (granted her not living in LA is a factor, but she's also made several trips this year too). Point being, Shyla's basically the only model that's basically immune to not being booked if a scene isn't up to par, and if I have a favorite that for whatever reason doesn't give the best performance but I know elsewhere she's killed it, I'll be a little falsely positive in praising the scene over risking her not getting booked anymore. As for why I brought up Dana, it was more because of the synergy that Mile High and GW. I agree that Sweetheart's not the same it even was 2-3 years ago overall, but I still think the stories are well-structured. With just how bad the writing got for the features last year and with Vampires not quite hitting for me (though I will say Alan's mini-features have been at bare minimum good while I think this was more just being too much in concept compared to the resources available) it might not be the worst idea to use some of that synergy if there's someone that could do some writing. Jackie St. James says every time she's asked that she wants to do g/g again but the opportunity hasn't presented itself to her yet. I think the sex in her scenes is way too short, but the writing is always good so with her being in the Mile High family, I think it'd be fun to have her at least do a little writing for GW. ^^^ Right?! Like, I think Shyla's been mailing it in from an evolution as a performer prospective, but she's definitely a solid performer once the sex starts. But before that? With how her being blind in Vampires has hampered it, it might have actually been better if she was a mute outside of sex moans instead. Also the Carter/April scene was uploaded in a non-finished state as it seems like half of it is missing and there's direction in it too.

It's true they don't need Lana. They don't need any 1 performer. But, she is highly requested by the members. So, it would be strange not to cast her often.
^^ It doesn't mean the requests have to be honored. I think Girlsway will be extremely hesitant after this fiasco. Their talent pool could feel uncomfortable working with her at this juncture.
Thing with Elsa is that if he had just seen her in scenes for other studios since that one, or just read reviews, I'd like to have thought she'd have brought back a lot sooner. She was excellent for GFF during her exile from Girlsway. I remember suggesting he have a look and he was quite dismissive because of some negative feedback. Yawn. Vicki Chase and Jillian Janson in particular not being brought back is mind boggling.

Having worked with people with addiction, I have a little more sympathy for Lana than some do, but certainly not the point of some of her cultist fanbase (ref main thread about incident) at the other end of the spectrum. I just hope she apologizes, and if and when ready after getting her straight she can back in the groove. But if this is it for her in the porn industry, just hope she finds some peace. Just reading about some of the other incidents and without knowing or speculating about her pre-porn, it does read like part cry for help and part having her ego boosted massively by success coming so quickly. Maybe it's entirely one way or the other. I don't know. But even superstars like Adriana Chechik funny enough, Mia Malkova and Riley Reid didn't come into the industry and gain traction as quickly as Lana did. On a purely performance level, it's another blow because I feel she was finding her groove and improving scene by scene for Girlsway. I recently watched a GFF DVD where she is paired with Prinzzess, and in the pre-scene interview with the two of them, she admits made the decision to contact Prinzzess privately and asked her to help her improve when it comes to GG. Prinzzess was all too willing, and they spent a weekend together. That shows great dedication to her craft and is something I don't many others would be arsed doing. I hope Girlsway don't rule her for the forseeable future anyway, at least before we hear her side of the story and how she plans to progress from this point onwards.

^^^I don't know, the other Real Girlfriends scenes had couples that although they did dudes on film, were exclusive with each other Off-Camera (as far as we know). But everybody knows that Kissa Sins and Johnny sins are together no matter what kind of 'ceremony' or rings she shares with Katrina Jade. It would just undermine the whole concept IMO. I wonder if these Lana Rhoades scenes will be moved up the cue now, just in case things don't work out. I believe they were with April O'Neil and Dillion Harper, which sounds like a couple of hot scenes. I also wouldn't be surprised if Lana was also going to be a GOTM in the last 2 months of the year. I can understand that it can be difficult to watch or read a lot of reviews or news in his position based off of just how much content gets shot between GW and AGM per month, getting all of that off to the editors in Canada, and all the production work from a logistical and now creative standpoint that goes into running the site. I can't really think of another site that updates as frequently as GW does that only has one director. Plus Alan casts so far in advance that typically debuts are either booked after a model's established themselves elsewhere or to replace someone that had to cancel. Since he relies so much on member feedback, it can be difficult for debutantes to be booked right away again (see how Jill Kassidy is being used a lot for the b/g site but only has the scene with Elsa for GW despite it going over well) and a scene that doesn't go over quite as well is basically a killer for models the way things are now. There are a few big names that haven't appeared like Nicole Aniston that I don't think would go over super well with the members since her performances can be hit or miss, but Jillian and Vicki had great reactions and Vicki got to the point where she even posted and nominated herself in the forum and made the member list but didn't get brought in.
LOL, now we've got "twin stepsisters?" I'll give it to them, that's pretty funny. It won't be after about the 30th time hearing: "We can't do this! You're my twin sister!" "No, I'm your twin STEPsister." And then they proceed to call themselves sisters anyways during the sex.
^ I wrote that scene on Girlsway forum and the original script had the twins as real sisters and they wouldn't be able to interact with each other on the threesome with the other girl. I thought it could be cool/different to have a threesome where two of the models can't really touch each other (All Girl Massage had a scene with the Starr sisters exactly like that and I thought it was really hot). However, I completely understand Girlsway to change that, making the threesome a real one and putting the "twins" of the scene together. I'm fine with it and with the whole step-twin concept if that's what it takes to see Natalia Starr with Alexa Grace. I thought Alan made the scene in a perfect way (better than what I'd imagined myself) from what I've seen on the trailers. I was kind of bummed when we lost Piper Perri as the girlfriend (I have nothing against Carmen Caliente, but personally she's not among my favorite models) but I'll be definitely watching both scenes!
^ With how established sci-fi is for GW, I wonder if there's a legal reason why they couldn't just be slightly imperfect clones of each other rather than forcing the fake incest thing. Still, Alexa apparently really wanted to work with Natalia because of how similar they look so I'm looking forward to the scene.

The only Abigail Mac scenes I have watched are the ones where she's paired up with someone I do like. She is an excellent performer, but don't find her attractive. So, really have no interest. That said, GW offers 5 scenes a week. So, you still have 4 others that may not induce fatigue.

She and fellow GOTM Cassidy Klein take the Lesbian Census With all the talk of who gets to comeback to Girlsway, Rebel Lynn is the latest blast from the past in Crazy Girlsway Fan with Abella Danger. I hope they continue this trend of making room to bring back girls who may not be at the top of the request list.

I asked her on Twitter ages ago about it, albeit about her appearing with Girlfriends Films namely, and she said she always up for more GG scenes and it's up to companies to sound her out. If there is heat there, it is what it is I suppose, but if not, head off wall stuff. @ erolixxx - agree on Carmen Caliente. I don't mind her (wished she sticked with the brunette look to be nitpicking, she looks much better), but she wouldn't have been the first name to come to mind as the third wheel to this. In saying that, Piper Perri does less for me personally, so yeah. Alexa Grace and Natalia Starr was inspired however. Had some Twinning pairings in mind awhile back but that wasn't one of them, and after seeing the trailers, I have no idea how I missed their similarities. With all that said, have OVER TWO AND HALF WEEKS between part 1 and 2 is nonsensical stuff that I thought they had lessened in recent times, but it's back and still annoying.
- Lesbian Cenus is one of the best GG scenes this year. No surprise given who starred. Top of their game. Funny, hot and sexy. Numerous moments in the first 5 minutes had me grinning like a daft eejit. Would love to see a part 2 where Cassidy and Abigail have moved in together months to a year down the line, and then a new girl, like a Scarlett Sage, Kristen Scott or Rebel Lynn is doing a census. Or someone new like a Jennifer White or Khloe Karpi. Speaking of recently released scenes. Looking forward to seeing the April O'Neil & Carter Cruise part 1 and Bella Rose & Brandi Moore scenes later or tomorrow. - Felt like Melissa Moore & Reena Sky together was a missed opportunity in their scene with Briana Banks who does zilch for me. Glad they get finally get their time together. - Upcoming wise, Vanessa Veracruz two scenes look great. ^^^ Piper was originally casted gy Girlsway before Carmen but I'm with you: I prefer Carmen as a brunette.. My first suggestion (Alan said he tried but she wasn't available) was Anya Olsen. Now that would have been an epic scene! Oh, someone on Girlsway forum pointed out how much Alexa and Natalia looks like each other, and Alan said himself that Alexa had mentioned it as well, wanting to work with Natalia as her twin sister. All I did was writing the script and suggesting those two gorgeous models. Personally I don't feel the two and a half weeks spam between part 1 and 2 is a problem. Girlsway likes to do part 1 and 2 scenes (like the Celeste/Lily that is coming up and the Carter/April ones) so I think two weeks to see the same characters/models is a good time spam.
I'd love to see the other Starr sister Natasha Starr come back to Girlsway. She's only had 1 scene back in the old Girls Try Anal Days. Well maybe since they brought it back, Natasha can come back too. [Link]
^ I've always preferred Natasha over Natalia. I'm not sure but I thought I read somewhere that Natasha and Rebel were actually together for a while. I don't know if there's any heat between Jillian and GW, but there's definitely no heat between Vicki and GW. She went as far as to do an AMA on the forum and talked about wanting to shoot for GW again, but nothing ever came of it. I really don't understand that one. She had made the member request list and her debut went over well. I wouldn't call Rebel a "blast from the past" as she has a scene that came out this calendar year and had originally been in the Alice cast. Aidra Fox having a scene in the can for AGM is what I would define as a blast from the past/hell freezing over. The one thing I'll give the whole "step twin sister" gimmick is that Alexa's the one that wanted to do it. As much as fake incest doesn't do anything for me, the scenes are typically better when the models involved actually don't mind the fetish rather than are just there for a paycheck. Is Natasha even shooting still? I checked her twitter and it looks like it's just feature dancing/event hosting advertisements.
