Hi its been a while since I last posted. I wanted to ask with the movie "AI: Artificial Intelligence" i've noticed that on the Girlsway website (which I subscribe to) there is only 3 scenes plus the BTS. On gamelink there are 4 scenes. ^The 4th scene you see on Gamelink has nothing to do with AI. AI only had 3 scenes so you haven't missed anything. I'm guessing they added the 4th scene so that they could release AI on DVD.
I know at this point I'm sort of beating a dead horse but I think that if a studio is going to choose to make a scenario driven porn series that supposedly has some kind of connecting thread than the least they can do is actually not completely fuck it up as well fucking up the sex scenes. 1-Why is Shyla's character outside (again) at the beginning of the video when it has nothing to do with the rest of the scene? *It hasn't added anything to the different vignettes up to now and frankly all the footage could have been used in the first video and it wouldn't affect to the overall story. 2-Why add another performer to this already character filled mess by having a scene involving Angela White? *Instead of having a scene with Angela they could simply have re-used Melissa Moore, Georgia Jones or Carter Cruise again? She literarily adds nothing to the story and she dies at the end of the scene. 3-The acting and dialogue is still horrendous but seeing as none of it has been any good up to now then it's not like i was expecting it to be good 4-Why shoot a sex scene in a hallway when it means that you automatically lose two possible shooting angles? *God if only it had been only two possible shooting angles but no. What we get instead is a lot of static tripod mounted shots intermix with zoom and pan shots that feel like they were edited with somebody who hadn't slept in three days and was staying awaked by consuming Redbull like water. I understand the limitations porn producers work under and maybe this is one of those scenario driven porn stories that should never have been attempted but I think once you have decided that you are going to do this than make sure you do a half decent job of it. This is not what half a decent job looks like.
I certaintly appreciate Girlsway trying, and at least they frequently update (unlike several other G/G sites that used to be good), but man, some of these stories are cheeseball-tastic.
^^ To be honest, I think your critique of Angela being cast here isn't quite fair. It's more on the fault of the script not making her feel as important as she should be than just her being in it. There should have been more foreshadowing that there was an "ultimate vampire" as it were and something the characters should fear in previous episodes and that wasn't done at all outside of a few mentions in the first scene. So what in theory was likely imagined to have been a logical and important reveal on a character basis didn't click as intended. However, as odd as it may seem, I'd rather a site try a concept that isn't typical porn fair and fail rather than either not try at all or just play it safe with a concept we've seen before. Sure, this didn't turn out to be ideal in execution, but there are plenty of things that can be learned from it both good and bad. As an overall concept, this was too big for what could be realistically done. While the story has many flaws, the core of it made sense (young girl gets turned into a vampire and has to find a way to change back), which is more than I can say for Missing and Project Pandora. Moving forward, casting for acting ability and role fit above name value on these types of projects will have to be done better. Like I said earlier, the material didn't really give Angela, Serena, Melissa, and Georgia much to work with but they've all shown in the past that they can do the kind of roles they were given here. But after watching part 4, I feel like Jelena as the evil older woman's played out at this point, Abi desperately needed more room to either ad-lib or give her character more humor, there's literally nothing more that can be said about how bad of an actress Shyla is, and it's obvious the only reason she was cast was so they could have a scene with the two GOTY's. I'm a sucker for cheesy special effects in porn, and this had that in spades.
I support GW take chances with these bigger projects. It's a touch of the golden age of porn with the expected weak scripts & acting. At worse, you are left with some pretty good sex scenes. This is the case with Vampires. It didn't work as a story, but nothing was lost. I found the sex scenes OK. Try again guys and I suggest centering the story on one main character. Follow the formula of a showcase movie, but she's in character with the addition of a plot. Don't get lost in side stories & characters. Give the viewer the adventures of Miss Wide Eyed Innocence. Just cast the lead well and roll the cameras. It will be easier on all of us.
It's interesting how when it's all said and done, it looks like there will only be 1 feature this year, on which the feedback hasn't been too hot. I wonder if that will affect things going forward. I enjoy many of GW videos but there a multiple recurring pet peeves that often make what should be a great scene one that is significantly less appealing. 1-Terrible acting: Since GW makes scenario driven porn then the one thing that they should make sure of is to only award the more complex roles to performers who can do a modicum of justice to the role. I won't name names because I think it often has less to do with the performer and more to do with time and budget restraints but there are some performers who should have as little dialogue as possible or make sure that the dialogue they have to speak require very little talent. 2-Mediocre(bad) Camera Work: I don't know if it's a recent thing or I'm getting more critical in my old age but I am getting really tired when the camera zooms away from the acting to instead focus on nothing of importance. Some example are when the performers are kissing and somehow the camera operator decides to pan away from the kissing to instead focus on the body of the women. There are the countless static shots where the camera isn't moving with the performers or the zoom away to the point where the camera feels like it's 10 feet away. 3-The badly developed storylines: Too many of the storylines aren't very good. The recent Vampire series of vignettes comes to mind because the problems are glairing. Now to be fair I put the bulk of the blame on GW because this is the kind of story that requires a lot of time and by extension money to execute properly and neither of these things are in abundance in modern porn production. That said I do blame the people who came up with the idea because if they thought they could do justice to that kind of plot than they need to re-evaluate the way they produce porn. 4-Chemistry between the various performers: I am aware that many lesbian performers are gay for pay so I imagine it's a lot harder for them to fake an interest in someone of their own sex but GW employs a huge amount of performers that only shoot G/G porn so between the true lesbian and the really good performers. There should be a big enough talent pool to allow a wide variety of storyline where there is a genuinely believable amount of chemistry between the performers and I think there should be someone at GW who recognizes when there isn't any chemistry so that any future storyline avoid pairing the mismatched performers together again. 5-Kissing: This one above any of the previous complaints is the one that I want to see is large quantity in my porn. Sadly it's almost completely gone from most b/g videos but it's still a regular part of most lesbian videos. The problem is that I find that it's not used properly or often enough in too many videos. The performers characters should want to kiss their partner for more than a few seconds and they should want to kiss them repeatedly but I find that except for at the beginning of the scene. The kissing sort of becomes part of the checklist that is used in hetero porn instead of being part of a flowing sex scene. I know what I just wrote seem to imply that GW makes bad porn but I honestly don't believe that. I just think that they can do better. Then again my expectations are probably too high.

I gotta agree with this. The girls kissing is a huge turn on for me and GW has been failing in this area lately. Every studio goes into a slump every now and then. GW is in one now, IMHO, but hopefully, things will pick up soon. I'm not threatening to cancel my subscription or anything like that, I've just been disappointed in the scenes they've put out for the past couple of months (with certain exceptions).
G/G only performers seem way more gay for pay than the ones who also shoot B/G, oddly enough. The G/G only ones with husbands or boyfriends don't even consider it cheating to have sex with girls, that's how little they actually think of lesbian sex. I don't think it matters what type of content you shoot in terms of chemistry.
