I agree about Anya because she was the only good thing about that scene. I hope that if we see more of her then it will be in better produced scenes. I think it's time that GW took a page from Pure taboo and released less content so that they can put more time in producing a higher grade of porn. Now that they are under the Adult Time banner than they don't need to add as many new scene per week since most fans will get their fix of porn from the other scenes uploaded to AT. Less content means more money for each scene they upload and you can clearly see the difference between GW and PT content. Since both are produced, shot and star the same people then the only factor missing in one is time.

If the trend continues then GW will be releasing less scenes this year than in the past but at the moment that number is about 3 or less scenes. Now if those 3 missing scenes is an issue for some members than maybe they can never be reached because they belong to the group that always wants quantity over quality. That said. In my world the number of scenes released each month would be about 10 or so because I think to be able to create a superior product means that GW/AT will have to spend longer on each scene and that takes time.

The good news is that producing less scenes each month would saved them a decent amount of money. The bad news is that they might lose some when members bitch about the number of scenes and they decide to quit the site because of that but I argue that to keep going down the route of quantity is a bad idea because I think we have had too many years of mediocre porn and there is about to be a reckoning. I also have to point out that only one of GW competitors puts out more scenes then them. Sweetheart Videos only releases about 12 scenes or less per month. Girlfriend Film releases well above 30 scenes each month and that number can go above 50 but more than half of these is from their huge archive so sooner rather than later their output will drop down to the same as GW and Sweetheart. It's also important to point out that their quality has significantly dropped in the last few years.

The Pros:
Cherie's character is not referred as Gia's step-mom even though she is married to her father.
She isn't called Cherie but Charlene.
Cherie's performance was quite good through out the entire video.
They shoot the video in three different rooms.
There is an actual change of clothing in the scene.
Some portion of the sex scene are quite hot.
They had more longer shot than I normally see in GW videos.

The Cons:
Gia's character is portrayed as having the maturity of a 10 years old.
There is less than 4 minutes of pre-sex related content so no way to establish a decent story.
I think there is more analingus than actual kissing.
Gia's performance during the sex scene needed to be toned down because it's way too loud and hyper.
Camera is way to static. I expect more from a non-POV video.
Scene was less than 25 minutes long and while it would have been better served if it was at least 35 minutes long. The way they ended the scene made no sense.

Now while my comments were directed at Gia. She is by no means the only one guilty of over acting in lesbian porn. I would say that most of the performer who shoot for GW went to the school of more screaming is better than more passion. I don't remember Lily over acting the enjoyment she had in a scene but she definitely didn't do that the lesbian scenes I saw her in.

sadly you are correct that I am currently shit out of luck because over acting is the current norm in lesbian porn but I have hope that we will go back to a more passionate type of lesbian porn.

MONTREAL-AVN Award-winning director and Adult Time production head Bree Mills has begun pre-production on an original autobiographical feature for the new label titled Teenage Lesbian.

Slated for release in September as both an R-rated feature and an X-rated, three-part Adult Time miniseries, Teenage Lesbian is set in the 1990s and will star Kristen Scott as the titular lead character, an 18-year-old student attempting to come to terms with her sexual orientation during her senior year of high school.

"I wanted to tackle a coming-of-age story that would set a new standard for authenticity within the traditional lesbian genre," Mills said. "It had to be real in its portrayal of lesbian sexuality and the struggles of coming out, not just glossy fluff or shot from a male gaze. Teenage Lesbian is a film about what it was like to be young and gay in the pre-Ellen era, the final decade before gay rights became a public conversation. Ultimately, I decided the best way to portray this was simply to tell my own story."

Mills divulged that Scott was her only choice to portray her in the movie, and that the two have been quietly developing the character since they first discussed the project at January's AVN Show, aiming to incorporate Scott's own sexual coming-of-age experiences. Others cast for the movie thus far include Alina Lopez, Kenna James, Aidra Fox, Whitney Wright, Kendra Spade and Emily Willis.

"I am absolutely thrilled to have been cast as the lead in this project," Scott enthused. "I always love having the opportunity to work with Bree, so to be able to play such a significant role in a story that is so personal to her is such an honor. I just can't wait to bring this coming-of-age story to life!"
