^Not you specifically but there are others who do appreciate this and it actually does enhance their enjoyment of the sex scenes. Girlsway built their brand by offering more than just basic sex scenes, so I don't think it's fair to attack them for wanting to be more than just that. Anyways, I enjoyed the trailer, and like the epic romance angle of April and Kenna falling for each other. And Abigail is perfectly cast and always nails those 'boss bitch' roles. But this seems like a teaser, because I can't tell who the rest of the cast will be hooking up with.

Christ, its no wonder why so many models are deciding to do their own content or retire entirely. But back to the trailer, I enjoy my G/G scenes to have a little (or in this case slot) of plot. I look forward to every feature these days, and I am glad girlsway keeps doing and improving the quality. Maybe one day we get quality porn movies with decent acting and a nice story, like in the 90s or early 2000s.....
Here are my 2 measures of plot led porn movies. 1. Does the story/characters enhance the sex scenes? 2. Do the performers stay in character once the sex begins? The trailer does give the impression Alan has high ambitions here. The material on 1st glance doesn't seem to lend itself to erotica, but keeping an open mind.
Maybe i should not say this here, but i definitely have no interest in too-scripted Girlsway and anal-gape-intensive LesbianX. I really miss something like Kissmegirl and the old Lansky stuff. Since i'm mostly a g/g fan i'm quickly losing interest in porn.

Not true Bryan. When I like stuff I mention this.. when I have my doubts I mention this also. This trailers looks good. Nice camerawork, great pictures, great FX but I doubt I will watch this and get off on it. My wish would be Girlsway making a 'serious' romantic drama or romantic movie. But unfortunately the Girlsway specials Always have to include vampires or other weird stuff. Although its not my kind of stuff.. I think they nailed it with Pure Taboo. ^ In answer to your question Bree, like I stated before I like the type of videos that your company produces. Now I am not always a fan od every scene but that is bound to happen. I always like to have some sort of story involved in the sex or it seems like two actresses are just being paid to have sex (or gay for pay). I am really looking forward to your Girlcore series. I am excited especially for the aerobics scene. I watched your podcast appearance with Holly Randall where you stated you took over AGM. It has become somewhat of a proving ground for actressess. I always like that site but they were always too short, when you came along you added story and length. I, like others on this forum, would like to see perhaps something a little darker, like the stuff at PT. If you don't want to add that to the GW site, could that be another series you could work on. ^Those are two very good points and I completely agree with you. That's why I have serious doubts that Wasteland will be much better than most other GW videos. For a long time I thought it was the talent in front and/or behind the camera or maybe it was a question of lack of budget that was why I so seldom enjoyed GW scenario porn scenes but I no longer believe that these are the main reasons for my lack of enjoyment. A far as I can tell my problem with GW scene is that the performers are never actually playing their as though that is what they are suppose be so much as playing it as porn performers pretending to be that character. It probably doesn't help that most of them keep using their own stage name instead of using a different name but it goes much deeper. In mainstream TV shows, movies and even web series (even the terrible ones) strive to bring a level of realism to their roles so that when we are watching them play a lawyer, a doctor or a teacher. If they do a decent enough job then we start to believe that they are lawyers, doctors or teachers but in most GW videos. The performers are never actually playing a role so much as they are playing a porn version of that role. I know it's a porn video but it's still supposed to be one driven by a scenario where those performers are supposed to be somebody other than a porn performer. That means that if performer "A" is playing a lawyer then it's actually a porn-lawyer, if she is playing a doctor then it's really a porn-doctor and so on. Most porn performers never actually play the role as it should be played and therefore all I'm left with is two established porn performers talking nonsense until it's time for them to get naked and pretend that they enjoy having sex with each other. If I'm wrong then I would love to know which video where the women were believable in their roles because I would love to see it.

I have ONE request of Girlsway or any of Bree's future projects that involve G/G - Julia Ann & Summer Day, somehow the stars have not aligned for these two who look REMARKABLY similar in the facial features to end up on the same set much less the same scene together. Well, 1st of all it's great to hear that you have some new stuff cooking in the world of G/G. Some of the things I've personally been wanting more of, or just at all in G/G are; Feature Films: Sweetheart has recently started doing them. And Girlsway only does 1 a year now. Parodies: Only Girlsway has really done this but not much. I think there is plenty of room for more Lesbian Parodies. A Lesbian Soap Opera: Just like it sounds, an ongoing soap opera with plenty of Lesbian sex and overly-dramatic stories with a large cast of characters Strap-On scenes where most of the action, like 80% is actually strap-on action, and not half the action at best as usual. Same goes for Tribbing. Vixen/Blacked/Tushy style scenes, but G/G. Semi-Reality like Casting, "Hidden" cameras, Girls under Arrest, etc. but with a G/G twist.
- A kissing series. Heavy focus on the kissing (obviously) with a small amount of sex towards the end of the scene. - Re-doing the foreplay series with actually focusing on the foreplay. - G/G version of the Oil Overload series from Jules Jordan. - A plot/dialogue free series. - A Hairy series celebrating the bush (and armpit hair if Kasey Warner is available). - A series all about the messy awesomeness that is foodplay.
^^^^ I agree with both of you. However, I will also repeat what I said about the features post-Turning. While I do think that often times whether it be issues with casting and/or the narrative that led to the end product being less than the sum of its parts, I would much rather see chances taken and fail over playing it safe and getting a diminishing return like Sweetheart has been for the vast majority of the last few years and honestly how a lot of GW has felt this year up until Wastelands. Ambitions can be too much though and that plays into your point about models and their ability to play roles, Pat. I think to some extent you have to give a benefit of the doubt when it comes to performers ability to play roles. Between many not being trained in acting and the minimal prep time allotted (even with being generous and saying models are getting the script for things two weeks in advance, someone working at least half of that time in between doesn't give a lot of time to prepare), I think it's unrealistic to expect something to the level you're looking for most of the time. If models are cast in a role that they're generally decent in, that's more than enough for me. But, I think the bigger issue is casting models in roles that they aren't decent in and trying to get them to fit a role rather than writing a role around them. Some models aren't capable of being believable in serious or comedic roles, yet to put them in roles they don't work well in breaks immersion quicker than simply "porn" acting. I think if you write characters and a story that mesh with the strengths of the models involved, both of aclay's points are much easier to achieve. As for potential new lines, while I have a few specifics ideas, the overarching one that I have is to choose themes that stay far away from the women in peril trope. Between Wastelands, previous GW features, PT, and this new Girls Under Arrest thing, women in peril has pretty much become one of the main things that Gamma does. I'd like to see projects that completely shun that crutch. I think parodies are often a crutch for lazy writing, but homages to popular genres could be very fun. A full-on super hero universe similar to Marvel or DC Comics with original characters could be very fun on a narrative and sexual level. Realistic/complex romance stories where we really dive into the interworkings of relationships, a running legal drama similar to Ally McBeal and/or The Practice, something truly similar to Club 59 where the models talk about their experiences in real life with women before having sex without a gimmick, but taking it up a notch with you being the one that interviews them and being able to relate your life as a lesbian to their experiences, or the aforementioned high-end look but with sex that doesn't seem like a checklist could all be ideas worth exploring.
You did a showcase for Whitney Wright that included Serena Blair and AJ Applegate that was like the Bachelorette style. I am a big fan of MTV's "Are You The One" where its 22 singles share a house (11 men and 11 women) trying to find their perfect match and win a million dollars. Ive always wondered how an all female season of "Are You The One" would turn out. I dont know how it can be done but it would be interesting if GirlsWay can make it happen with the theme of "Are You The One". It dont necessarily have to be 22 females. Could just be 10 or 12 females living in one big house for weeks trying to find who their perfect matches.

Ok, I don't get it - I suggested at one point - having a G/G for Girlsway that went darker, not necessarily with girls in peril but more of a creepy predatory nature like Almost Caught for example. Somehow that gets shot down for potentially scaring away Girlsway members yet somehow the thought process goes that if Girlsway follows Sweetheart Video and imitates Girlfriends Films; that's not going to infuriate the established Girlsway audience?? I try not to rant or appear on the attack but contrary to popular belief, imitation is not the most sincere form of flattery. You want a lesbian legal series? Already been milked to death by Girlfriends Films unless you go far darker than they did. Lesbian Soap Opera, also been done by Girlfriends Films called the Thornhill Diaries. From Girlsway to whatever new series Bree puts out need to have their own voice and be original. That is how you keep an audience coming back for more. Perhaps a truly revolutionary idea for Bree and Girlsway to try are G/G without gimmicks, complicated plots or that feel outright gonzo in the style of LesbianX. I agree about a need for greater foreplay but if we're talking about breaking new ground - go for honest seduction as in realistic resistance because the number one thing I read in interviews of a variety of current stars is that they got into porn because actually approaching women in bars or at work or off the street doesn't work. Have a series that explores that, the path from a lesbian pursuing someone who is unaware of being bicurious or who is is seemingly straight until the teasing or foreplay feels entirely too good leading those defenses to crumble away. Definitely want a series on Brats, as mentioned before - spoiled people who are everything from prissy and prudish to deceptively manipulative who seem to always get away with it. You could even follow the same line in a few Pure Taboo scenes like the DP with Kristen Scott who turned the tables on the boys although in this case, it would be just appearance that the 'dominant' party had one only to reveal that the woman staged it all. I'm more receptive to feature films with a common thread such as several scenes that revolve a business or a sport and a group of friends or a restaurant or something that hasn't been saturated already like a law firm. Maybe even a library or a publishing house. With the right script and right shows, a parody line could actually be interesting. There are a few shows I would love to see parodies of: Grimm, Criminal Minds(under the Pure Taboo label), NCIS, Special Unit 2 and Warehouse 13 could be equally awesome. I do agree with another idea that got tossed around: a porn series that is not gonzo yet somehow free of gimmicks and almost entirely unscripted. The real trick of something like that is going to be being able to maintain some kind of angle or view of the action without it feeling like 'pornstar' sex.
I would love a series like Nubiles My Family Pies.. but not necesarily a parody but an on going story or different story's about moms and their stepdaughters and their adventures in sex with eachother and others like schoolfriends, neigbours or aunties, nieces or stepgrandmoms Talking about grandmoms.. I never saw a mature actress, stepmom and stepdaughter in the same scene.. that would be something.
What i also would like is a series called SURROGATE MOM/DAUGHTER where a daughter or and mom admits to another person she has dreams or a fantasy about mom (or daughter or sister) Then that person roleplays her mom.... This is also a great way to get rit of the STEPword You recently had such a scene on Girlsway and it was very hot!
I've had an idea for a couple of years called Lesbian Love Getaway. Basically, it would be about one couple spending a weekend together over three or four scenes. The obvious question is how to make a commercially viable movie starring just two girls, and I think that the obvious solution is to cast superstars whose names can attract their fans as well as genre fans. Think Riley Reid, Adriana Chechik, Angela White, and you're starting to get the picture. Each scene could use a different venue (bed, bath, & beyond) and feature different acts (tribbing, rimming, &c.) to hold the audience's interest over the four scenes.
I love your idea but the logistic may make it hard to shoot because if I'm reading you correctly then you want the same couple of performers to play the same role in multiple videos where they have sex with each other and also have sex with some of their acquaintances and/or strangers. The only way I can see that happening is if GW shoots multiple scenes in a short period of time because if they shoot them over a long period of time then the performers might not be available to shoot because they weren't sitting at home waiting to shoot those videos or worse they have retired and are no longer doing porn. Now on a more positive note. This is probably more appropriate for Allgirl massage and perhaps more of a one off scene thing than a series, but I was wondering how elements of the popular ASMR phenomenon would translate to porn and specifically G/G porn. Hi Bree, great to hear that there are more gg projects on the horizon. Echoing what Morgankane said above, I would love to see an oily series similar to JJ oil overload but done in gg. Also would be great to see some glam style gg like the good ol days. Just two beautiful girls in a passionate gg scene. No relying on anything like gaping or squirting or strapons or milf or teen themes. Just two girls focussed solely on each other to create great gg porn. I hope for the return of the so-called "babe" category in between that of teen and milf. Everywhere I look gg is all too often "mommy themed." Good gg content doesnt need a gimmick to sell it and I feel if it does rely on it then it detracts from a potentially better scene. Keeping things simple would probably end up actually being unique to the competition given that everyone these days is trying too hard to always be edgy and pushing the envelope. Probably sounds hypocritical given I suggested an oil theme series as well, although I feel that the rare gg oil scene I have watched does still allow for the performers to focus on each other without having to worry about performing specific acts or filling specific roles. LX had potential when it first launched. I had hoped it would follow in the footsteps of Mason's club59 but it has now deviated far from it. For me club59 and the Lansky era WLT are the gold standard in gg and I believe the team behind GW and AGM would do really well with this approach!
I like the oil suggestion but I would much rather see the kind that Bruce Seven used in many of his lesbian movies. In fact I would love to see a Bree(or more modern) version of many of Bruce's movies. There haven't been many directors like Bruce who shot large amounts of g/g porn so it would be nice to see someone try to emulate his style. I think your idea would be more appealing in a written format than a celluloid one because the reality with shooting any sex scene in a vehicle but more specifically in a car is that the performers are going to be uncomfortable throughout the scene, the number of possible shots will be very limited and even the ones that you will be able to use will mean that we see next to nothing of the action and therefore why shoot any sex scene in a car?
