Point of note since you're using twitter posts as "facts" at the very end of the article, there's a post from Skin herself saying no one forced her show up but she's a professional, IE keeping commitments she makes. Porn performers aren't pro athletes with multi year/million dollar contracts that need to be coddled. You make the commitment, you keep it, sniffles or not feeling well be damned. Every girl interviewed on this site who's also a Speigler girl says there's a standard to uphold with being on his roster. It's a job not only for the girl, but for the whole crew of people standing around waiting for you to show up who still need to get paid if the girl flakes. I know its a lot to ask from the peanut gallery sometimes, but try looking at the situation from the top down and not the bottom up and you'd probably see a whole different picture.

^^^^ Well I am certainly not saying Speigler is at fault here since simply enough I do not know his side of the story. On the other hand I cannot also assume that he is NOT at fault. That is the reason I went about googling and seeing some insights about any such issues in the past. In the same manner we cannot fault Lana too. Health certainly isn't something "minor" in life and certainly is something more important than trying to uphold a "certain standard". But yes as a fan I do support her decision and according to the reasoning she gave, it is completely justifiable. My post was just meant to show that she did indeed have health issues and nothing else. Either ways don't really want to discuss too much about this anyways, It's an issue which we will never know a full picture of and without knowing the full details, the arguments and discussions will be worthless anyways. Hopefully Lana does everything what is right for her and her career and hopefully we get to see her more in the adult industry and in the same flight path and the same level of stardom we predicted for her. There are some fans who will always side with the girl and there are some "fans" who will almost never. Rosco seems to be one of those. We dont know the full story and most probably never will. Even if Speigler told us his side we would still be arguing about who is right and who is wrong, who is lying and who is telling the truth. Nothing good can come out of all this arguing. I agree with this, instead of arguing and discussing back and forth about an issue which we have no control on, we could actually make our words meaningful and discuss and (maybe) help Lana out with how to go forth with her future path in the industry instead. I can't say about women in the adult film industry or about the specific health situations in this thread but I can tell you 100% that professional models (i.e. instagram models for instance) do get paid every month from agents, product lines, etc. to speak highly of said product or other people in the industry as a promotion. For instance, an agency might pay a model with 2 million followers on instagram to promote and speak highly of another one of their models who is less known or just getting started to pump her up. A big thing lately is Lyft, who pays many models to tweet/instagram about their car service with "free rides using their name as a code"

I think the bigger reason why webcamming is so popular with many current and past performers as very little to do with being able to shoot from home and everything to do with the kind of money you can make for basically doing softcore to midcore solo stuff. I think this post of mine stands. How many people on here are talking like experts and know everything there is to know about the situation when ALL they know is what Lana posted here. I actually went on my own investigation. I've talked to many people in the industry both behind and in front of the camera. I kind of doubt that Hashphish or Zaxmate did. I'll repeat what I said when I originally commented on this situation. Don't be so quick to judge the situation until you know all the details. I know for a fact that Spiegler Girls have had to postpone or cancel scenes because 1) they were bruised from a Kink scene; 2) they were legitimately sick; 3) they were in car accidents and many other reasons. Life happens, he doesn't force anyone to go through with a shoot if they're not feeling well. It is very rare for Spiegler to drop a girl. VERY rare.
