I'd have to disagree here. While it is true that no LP scene looks like a scene from any other studio, the scenes from LP itself are what I would call the definition of cookie cutter: once you've seen one scene, you've seen 'em all. Perhaps you meant "Vanilla" instead of "Cookie Cutter"?

Maybe I'm splitting hairs with your reasoning but what you are referring to is actually STOLEN copyrighted material. I agree, all of us regular posters here CAN get all the porn we want for free but instead we choose to buy it. I can't speak for everyone else, but I have several reasons for buying it. One, I'm not wired for theft, even if is SEEMS victimless. Second, I prefer to get the original version of the file in a resolution I want. I'm as much a collector as I am a wanker. Third, it isn't a particularly difficult leap of logic to realize that if everyone is stealing and no one is legitimately buying then there is no incentive to make more porn.
For me though, it probably comes down to seeing theft as what it is - a taking of something that I have no right to take.

The only creativity is on following a new starlet as they progress. I been watching Light Fairy (Flora Fairy on other sites) going through the system quite slowly. My attention is now on Abby.
LP made a decision years ago to go the extreme circus acts route and while many of their fans keep asking for a little difference. The most they can offer them is content shot for other sites that LP owns and now upload to their network but it's not LP produced porn.
You can describe most LP videos as the same women with the same men doing the same things in the same rooms.
There are ways LP could be differentiating their content with unique clothing, lighting, shooting styles, allowing directors to add their own personal touch, etc... but it does not look like they're doing that. Having the exact same locations and basic scene outlines over and over again can get repetitive, but it does not preclude creativity by default.
This is not a problem unique to LP. I blame SEO and the ultra-competitive race to retain recurring customers.

Well said. The clothing and the lighting are my biggest issues right now. They're so consistently basic and dull. It contributes to the scenes being this washed out, sterile assembly-line looking thing. The lighting also makes everything come off as desaturated when compared to EvilAngel, JulesJordan or many other brands. I understand there's a formula fans like but a few scenes with variance would be great. As for location they don't even necessarily need to change it. They can decorate it differently/swap out furniture for a week or so, shoot a bunch of scenes and release them out of order throughout the year. It's just so tiresome.

They've priced themselves out of the market for what I want to spend on a single scene. But... one exception to both the sameness and my willingness to pay are the annual Christmas orgies. I look forward to those.
I haven't devoured much, if any, LP stuff, haven't been a member. A month or two ago I was looking around at porn reviews and different sites as I was looking to buy a membership (or two, lol) and looked into LP. They really intrigued me, my interest piqued by the wild hardcore action taking place. I haven't had the chance to be turned off by any sameness, only having been exposed to a bit, but having seen what I've seen, I've kind of liked the lighting - seemed to put the performers on full display, in a way. But that's from a non-member, grain of salt there. Basically I balked at the pricing setup with the tickets and such. I wasn't sure how much tickets I'd need to get the stuff I wanted, things weren't as clear as I'd like in that regard. I'd need to price things out and see what number of tickets I'd need for X number of scenes and budget accordingly. Personally, I'd like to see an up front lump sump price offered, access for a year with unlimited downloads, even if, on account of the costs involved in paying talent for this type of footage, they prices is larger than we typically see with other sites that offer a membership at that access level. I'm willing to pay, not looking for any discounts per se, just a more upfront pricing setup with less footwork needed for by the customer. All that being said, I love the previews on their sites and the things I've read about them, they seem like something I'd very much enjoy and am still eying their site, one of these days I'll line up like the rest of us and buy a handful of tickets and pick a few scenes I'm sure.

Well, EA has more diversity. Not much new stuff recently but definitely has more types of stuff. Not a fan of this type of model. Are the ends justified here? With my EA sub I get access to everything and am able to also download all my content as well.
^I guess it depends on which side you happen to be on. If you are LP then this business model probably makes the most lucrative site on the net but if you are someone thinking of joining then it's mostly lose lose because you only find out that you don't get access to all the content once you are a member. You also find out that the free stuff is now quite old and prices on the scenes seem to get higher and higher and that makes you tickets worth a lot less.
