You're censoring words, that's not going to do shit. That's not stopping any of that content from being made or posted on OF. This shows how much porn is actually already censored on OF and performers don't have as much freedom as people think they do.
Half of the words aren't talking about illegal acts or anything really taboo.

Being a product of the internet and premium sites, I dislike the lack of searchable genres, body-types or fetishes. But, OF doesn't even have an interface which shows "Recent", "Most Popular" etc. So, where do people actually go to get a taste of what models are out there?. I mean, I know the honest answer to that question. But, assuming people were doing it above board. How would people know what to look for? There isn't even the function to do that on OF.

I didn't say it was stopping content, but it is of course stopping at least some it. I was saying it's good OF isn't trying to promote the garbage. Yall have to remember that user-generated content is hard to monitor, and a significant portion of the porn-buying audience IS into shit that would have them talking about fifteen year olds, if it wasn't banned. OF is trying to straddle the fence because credit card companies don't want to be seen as aligned with companies that are into sex with teens or "consensual non-consent" or whatever other junk desensitized porn fans come up with next.
There is a lot of money at play here, and risking some idiots fucking up the bag because they have to get the nth dollar from someone who wants kidnapping porn, or whatever, would be asinine. Some of the out-of-context censorship is going to be egregiously dumb, but what else can be done? It's not like porn fans and creators will self-regulate. I imagine the banned word list was born out of experience more than foresight lol
Onlyfans is built around people following folks they have already heard of, unfortunately. I don't think they will ever invest into something like keywords and search because what they have now seems to work for people who are primarily interested in that fandom experience, messaging performers and whatnot.
I havent bought movies on OF for some time and purchased one the other day. The DRM now is a deal breaker. Hardest of lines in the sand for me. I will not purchase any movies from OF. I will only buy content produced by creators that I can download like from manyvids, I have done that before with no issue. I havent purchased from similar sites like iwantclips or loyalfans.I should investigate if those sites are smooth in terms of purchasing.
Some time ago I mentioned an issue I was having with a content creator on OF. I had purchased some custom content, but never received it. After reaching out several times and getting no response, I finally decided to report the content creator's account and contact OF. I was asked to provide proof of the conversation with the content creator, proof that there was an agreement between us and that I paid for what we agreed on. I provided screen shots of the conversation to OF, and surprisingly I was refunded the entire amount I paid. Happy to have a positive resolution to an unfortunate situation, and as much as I hate to say it, I hope OF penalizes the content creator in some way. I'm still shocked that someone at her level would conduct business in this way, but you never know who the swindlers are until you run into them.

A lot of the models market themselves, and you can find them on Reddit, Twitter, and elsewhere. There's a reddit called "OnlyFanReviews" which potential fans can check out.
And still, I've never seen anything like this in my life.
Two things. One, I can't believe there are thousands of men willingly paying $26/mth for this. And two, even if a performer is actually making all this money, why would they boast about it.
^^^ Generslly not performers. Male movie stars don't brag that they're making 20 million a movie. Male rock stars don't brag that they're making a million dollars a concert. Male sports stars don't brag about they're multi-million dollar contract. In fact, it's usually the opposite. They play it down, or won't even admit it.

I do, and she's fairly quick to respond, which I appreciate. I really just sub to performers to get to know them (I feel like most accounts it's actually them), so I think she's worth subbing to.
Recently I've seen more and more performers complaining about OnlyFans. Late on delivering payouts and unsurprisingly awful support (not just fans who experience this)
Takes way too long to upload content whether on a phone or computer. Take 20% of everyone's monthly earnings and can't build a better website? Pathetic! Top execs too busy buying yachts and planes I guess instead of hiring competent web designers and engineers.
If a performer you like is on other platforms, support those alternate platforms. Majority of their subscribers won't move overnight but if the other platforms can make noticeable gains the creator will prioritize OnlyFans less.
Someone I know stopped subbing to a girl's OnlyFans he liked and now supports her on SextPanther instead.
Better video streaming (very low bar), no DRM, no stupid watermark, less fans to compete with for attention (questions, requests, etc), lower prices for PPV

^ This isn't really on topic as I have almost no experience with OF. I joined Jada Stevens' page for a few months several years back and that's it.
This information that the average earnings on OF are only $150 per month is an eye opener. I don't follow a lot regarding OF, but most of what I read indicated that any woman of any age or body type could go on there and make a ton of money quickly. Sure, I smelled the BS, but this is the first time I've seen it spelled out so clearly.
Then again, since we're discussing porn here, pornstars, be they A- B- or C- list, probably earn more than most others. It makes sense to me that an A-list porn star like Jada could make a fortune on OF.
^ Yes, I suspect most of what I've read - and it isn't a lot - was probably advertising masquerading as a personal testimonial. Apart from joining Jynx Maze's OF site (I was confused in my first comment when I said it was Jada Stevens), I have no experience with the site and how it works, so I have nothing to counter anything I read that seems remotely plausible.
Same here. I'm not purchasing any content that is streamable only and with DRM. I'm also ending all my subscriptions and will not use OF anymore as a platform. DRM is the last straw!

Well, you know, opinions on OnlyFans can be pretty divided. Some folks like it for the personal connection they feel with creators, while others criticize it for various reasons. It's all about personal preferences and boundaries. Personally, I get why people enjoy it, but it's not really my thing. On another note, I stumbled upon some leaked content from Lauren Alexis of leaks, and it's surprisingly hott
^^The funniest thing is that anyone with a basic knowledge of math will quickly realise that the her claim of making $1 million on OF is impossible in the timeline she has been on the platform no mater which number is used. I've seen articles that claim she makes from 1500$ a day to this one that claims she makes 3000$ a day but if she makes 3000$ a day then the most she could have earned after 4 years is a little over 600,000$. Still a huge sum of money but significantly less than the $1 million claimed.
I wonder how much money the people behind OF are paying her to be the poster child for fooling women into using OF as some kind of a great source for making money.
I don't like Onlyfans at all. It made a huge impact on the adult film business, why a lot of female performers don't need studio porn, period, plus they make more money then for a couple of scenes in a porn movie. Studio porn is my favorite form of entertainment. I enjoy buying DVD from Evil Angel, Hard X and Jules Jordan plus on the streaming side Vixen and Adult time. Some of the only fans performers translation to mainstream porn.

But on twitter I seem to be seeing more and more adults stars complaining that people are not subscribing much and even then, they're not buying their content. They also complain that this is "forcing" them to go back to mainstream porn for an actual solid income.

That could be a reason and could also be because there's increasingly more and more available free online. Most of the scenes I did with studios are now on free tube sites (though I didn't post them and only post solo videos I created more recently myself). No doubt major stars with many more scenes have a lot more posted on such sites, even if they didn't post them. Also, there are so many live webcam sites with real-time video, not just recorded. Though some OF models also do live cam for subscribers, people don't have to buy subscriptions to access the live cam on the sites I'm referring to. OF seemed like a great idea but I think it became oversaturated too quick. From personal experience a lot of creators would only have nudes that weren't that different from what they had publicly available which didn't feel worth any subscription price. Plus one of the most upsetting things for me was paying $16 for what seemed like a solo video only for it to end up being 8 mins and mostly just teasing. Add in that there's a looming recession and I think a lot of people are asking, why pay for OF?
At least paying for premium porn sites you get bundles with other sites AND you know you'll always be seeing some fucking, all for the same or less than some OF subscriptions.
Many people may ask this question- Why pay for OF when there's so much more out there? One of the main reasons I can think of is to support independent performers in producing their content. This is more of an atruistic reason and not sure how common it is in porn. Kind of like how some people support independent musicians and artists. If viewers just want videos or pics and have no interest in supporting performers beyond that and don't mind videos being posted for free without the performers knowledge or consent, there's so much out there for free or on the premium sites. (Some performers may post their own videos on the free tube site, though I'm just saying that if you find a video or clip from a studio-produced film on a tube site, the performer often isn't the one who posted it and might not even know it's up there or if they do, there's little to nothing they can do about it.) Or, another reason some people mentioned subscribing to OF is wanting that interaction with the performer, which some provide through OF- whether it be just DM or live webcam. Maybe, some just get very creative. Like, there are creative activities people can do with solo beyond just the common type of teasing.
There's definitely a place for OF, but I think it should be like you said as more of a thing to support your favorite creators. Similar to how Patreon exists but a lot of content creators still put out free content. The way you use OF means a lot imo. Putting some exclusives beyond a paywall, doing live chats, interacting with fans, all of that is great. But if you put ALL of your content there and make everything PPV then as a consumer it feels like you're trying to milk me and as a creator I just don't see the benefit of putting it all behind paywalls.
