That last part is most likely the reason. It's an open secret that the most lucrative side of porn is the more taboo content. Trying to police millions of content creators and prevent incest, beastiality, questionably revenge/voyeur porn, becomes exceedingly difficult.

Secondly, a well-accepted hypothesis in the industry is OF is getting slammed with chargebacks from all the content creators paywall-pushing, bait-n-switching, etc. Chargebacks are bonkers. You have to stay well under 1% (sometimes 2%). Just a little bit above that for a short amount of time, the fines start racking up. We are talking tens of thousands per day, and the banks start threatening to cut you off.

VISA and Mastercard are not against porn in my experience.

We are talking about independent strong women who are tired of bs industry that they know literally use them up and spit them out. Again not talking about all companies and agents but these women know way more than we do. Some things have came out but there's alot more that hasnt and they know. Us as fans can sign up for a company site to watch scenes and ignore the vile things that goes on and dont blink an eye. At the end of the day its the women who have to deal with it and it takes a toll on them. So for me its bigger than them just running back to shoot for studios because they have an empty stomach. I fully support them too as they find other platforms to continue to thrive. As has been said countless of times, their true fans will follow them no matter where.

^ Thanks for giving us your insider perspective. The issue of chargeback could be a problem for OF since they are dealing with thousands of content creators, some of whom are amateur and may not be fully above board. I have very little experience with OF but I've read a lot of negative comments in threads on ADT where people have paid for something and it isn't delivered. This would be grounds for a chargeback.

Good to hear. Three of my favorites with good introductions are Penis vs Asshole (bar scene), Writer's Block (teasing and tempting), and Tippin the Bellboy (bitch punishment). The first two were filmed at 1080p; the third is a bit older and filmed at 480p.

With regard to Kelly at OnlyFans, I subbed, and there were some good "free" videos, but I never got a reply to any of my DMs. I do not recommend her for that. That is one big challenge with OnlyFans. Who really knows what you are going to get? But one time I joined and a model had over 600 videos, many of them at least several minutes long, and some much longer, and not the "5 seconds of nothing" clips that many others "offer."

Important Tip: Check out the site newbrazz.com to see 26 previews of the 30 older scenes that once were available. Writer's Block is not available at newbrazz.

Also, she is both Kelly Divine and Kelly Devine at newbrazz, so search for both.

You can download the trailers if you want.

So many of us love her big ass, but I also love her big eyes.

So it's a paid Instagram account from October wow. Seen some of them move over to Fansly already and that is setup pretty much like Onlyfans with monthly subscriptions. The site has been getting hammered the entire day. Not sure how the PPV and DM system works over there but I have no faith it's gonna be any better for the actual person paying for any type of content.

MOD:
Please do not talk about pornstars, directors or producers as if they are not here. (Katsumi sums it up nicely.) We are lucky to have industry participants, and they are paying attention to your constructive criticism. Insults will get you nowhere and lead to the deactivation of your forum account.

A lot of creators are jumping to other platforms and many are glady accepting them in record numbers but most of these people aren't stopping to think.

Unless a certain platform refuses Mastercard, history will likely repeat itself again. VISA and other CC companies will prove to be unreliable also so long as these companies bend to the will of anti porn crusaders.

When asked there's no answers being given implying the October guidelines will apply to their sites too and they have no solution at the moment to prevent deja vu.

Seems like for now they're happy to ignore those questions to get at least 1 very profitable month with a surge of newcomers instead of being a long term home.

It's not going to stop at onlyfans. That's why the industry has to commit, as a unit, to putting forth the image of respectability. And that's just to have a slight chance of being left alone.

The people that are taking aim at pornhub (I can't wait for the hub to die) are looking at Twitter now.

All porn sites will need to be super legit and business-like, moving forward.

But what if it translates into also setting more limits on the type of content itself?

Anybody else amazed that a wild site like m*therl*ss has not faced the wrath of the lobbyists or credit-card companies? There is a paid subscription option.

I have to ask the question that I'm not sure anyone can answer. Why is it that Only Fans is the only platform to be doing this when C4S and MV have been offering some very extreme content without a peep from CC companies and I don't need to mention the hundreds of porn sites that have been doing this for over two decades?

Is there something else behind this story that we haven't heard yet because strangely enough I keep seeing a recurring theme among the various criticism being directed at OF and it's the same thing that got PH in trouble and likely XVideos as well. Underage content that has somehow been uploaded to the platform.

Oh there will for sure be concessions to make the credit card companies more comfortable, if the credit card companies don't bail on us altogether. That's a given.

Frankly, some stuff is going to prove to be more of a problem getting in the way of the goal of tacit porn approval than other stuff.

^^ Well, there is the rumor going around that OF wants to lure in investor, and for them is willing to get rid of porn. That would explain why MV, C4S etc. are not (yet) affected. But I'm not sure if that rumor is true, TBH.

Other than that, especially in lockdown times, when everyone and their mom became an Onlyfans creator, exposure simply is waaay higher than the older counterparts. And even if creators are age verified, in one of the posts it was mentioned that now the ones uploading must provide written consent from all that appear in the videos. I'd be willing to bet that the huge influx of new creators, some of them might not adhere strictly to the rules and post stuff that can be problematic (from underage performers also appearing - simply take a 18 year old newbie to OF, and having her 17 year BFF also appear -, or stuff that will fit the "obscene" definition etc).

I would say that during the lockdown, OF grew too fast, with everyone rushing to it, it's easy some don't play by the rules and therefore makes OF an easy target for the anti-porn crusaders.

True. That's why playing the respectability politics will become increasingly important.

The industry basically needs to be able to say "we're no messier than

the alcohol industry" and be convincing about it. Gonna be tough.

It's just crazy because all these people; the payment company execs, the government, probably the anti-porn people themselves, all watch porn.

^If you really believe this is about "respectability", "child porn", "chargebacks" or any of the other nonsense I've seen mentioned then I've got a bridge to sell to you. They want to make porn illegal same as they've made the sexwork that pornography records on camera illegal, for very much the same reasons.
It isn't and I'm surprised you're not even aware that VISA&co have been similarly attacking C4S/manyvids/etc for the past couple of years. Studios suddenly finding most of their clips gone from c4s/mv as the platforms comply with ever more restrictive dictates from those companies. Clips4sale for instance has recently been sold off, and I'm sure OF will soon follow.

Their owners are no Larry Flynt, they got their (easy) money and now that things are getting tough they jump ship.

Here is another problem:

Which of us is going to openly decry Visa or Mastercard execs for limiting our porn choices?

"Porn hobbyists gathered today in the public square to strongly denounce . . ."

"They also burned what they considered to be their most offensive credit cards."

Ultimately, it's about stopping women from owning their bodies wholly and profiting off them and also about appealing to the Christian nutters. And yes, some people just honestly think porn is exploitative and connected deeply to child molestation.

The respectability play is about changing the perception of porn, which is what ultimately has to change before a resistance to the conservative religiosity and woman-hating can be stirred up.

There are people who are against the folks who want to shut down porn on every other issue except porn because porn has an arguably deserved image problem.

I believe that this happened. OFs basically got their money and said they were out. Didn t care to do the work to make it comply with the money distributors. I think for most porn studios the actresses have to show take a picture with their ID saying they consent to the sex acts. Digitally they will have to find a way to do this if they want to continue.

Can someone please give me a step by step on how to turn off auto-renew on Onlyfans? I've been trying to find it for an hour now. Everything I can find says to go to your profile and click on who you are following and click the auto renew button. But there isn't one there! How do you do this?

True and maybe you will see many accounts get closed because of non-compliance but I point you the a recent article on the BBC site that may well explain the reason why CC companies are deservedly targeting OF and if all allegations are true then it wouldn't surprise me to hear that the people who own OF have legal troubles.

I agree, but it does lend to the narrative that OFs was about doing the very least for profit. People always complained about the BS quality of the site which is accurate. When a little bit more investment was needed to keep the business going (ie digital ID checks) the creators said "That's too much work and effort, good bye." I am actually glad that these owners are gone because they were very cheap in investing to make the site better and this quick exit shows that.

I agree with the independent strong woman thing, but the factors of production are land, labor, capital and coordination. If the content creators (labor) are having trouble creating the platform (land) and getting the proper documentation to obtain cooperation from Visa Mastercard and the banks (capital) they aren't working together instead they are more or less competing so there is a lack of coordination. All of that makes these independent strong women have to depend on a group that will do all those things for them and that keeps them at the mercy of the big bad wolf in order to make the amount of money that they have been used to.

This happens in almost every industry on the planet.

I think it's funny that so many people here think that if OF changes and no longer allows hardcore content that means all the girls are going just simply go back to shooting for the studios again. Sure, some might but the fact that so many girls had left the mainstream porn studios in the first place to go elsewhere clearly shows they had problems with the studios. Seems to me that OF actually extended many of the girls porn careers because it seems many of them were leaving or had one foot out the door anyway. There's always some sort of on-going problems in the mainstream porn industry. From HIV scares every few years to abuse to sets to lower and lower pay for girls to the pressure of having to get more and more extreme to stay in the biz or get noticed...Why would anyone want to go back to that if they have an alternative? The doors have been opened and now the girls have seen there are far better business models out there for them. Don't expect that they're all just going to go running back to the studios with their tail between their legs. The studios will probably always be around but their roles will change. There will be more new faces passing through with the intent of building an audience before they take off to do their own thing. The porn industry has always been evolving and this is simply the latest changes being made. The world of porn was very different years ago as compared to now and all through those changes I'm pretty sure there have been people who were certain that the sky was falling and it meant the end for porn but it's still here and obviously not going anywhere.

Certainly didn't buy Mike South's article about 2257 compliance laziness being the reason.
