There's no easy answer to that. Each girl is different and for some it will take a lot more to make her do whatever she doesn't usually do and with other girls perhaps it won't be that much. In the end it's all about your end profit and what the most people really want to see. Paying that girl double might be totally worth it if there's a big enough audience that wants to see her do those things. If the audience that wants to see that is fairly small it's a bad investmet. Also, fans may not care about black girl "A" rimming a guy but can't get enough of black girl "B" doing it. The appeal of the girl plays a big part. In porn there are girls who look great and don't do any kinky/hard stuff and have a huge fanbase and there are girls who look "so-so" and are willing to do pretty much anything and fans don't really care.
All you can do is test the waters and see what fans respond best to. Always go with what actually brings in money not what some fans say they want to see. Consider this site and what many people here claim what's good porn vs the reality of the top studios and what they do. If one were to go by what's said here then studios like DIGITAL PLAYGROUND, VIVID, BRAZZERS, NAUGHTY AMERICA should all be out of business because many people here don't like that the kind of scenes they do, yet they're among porn's best selling studios.
Typically, but not always most black women aren't into and won't do the wild kinky stuff in real life or in porn. I have theories on why but won't get into them here. It's hard to say which of the types you mention are more willing to do it. It all depends on many factors. For some it might be money. For others they may be more willing to do it with the right guy. For others they may just see it as something they'd never do. Again, all you can do is make the offer to each girl and try and feel her out to figure out what she's willing to do.

White men and women bought Black porn all along. They might not admit it but when they bought white titles they picked up Black ones as well. The industry had to know this but refused to hire Black women anyway. Now porn is declining because of bad business on the industry part and Black women are not sticking around like they did in the past. If porn is going to survive they have to keep the ones who sell in the business even if it means paying them more if Leilani Leeanne, Rihanna Rimes, Asheerah, and some others were still in the game this wouldn't be a topic.

Also in your opinion, how does me being a white man play into this whole dynamic? Do you think black girls are more willing to lick ass with white men or black men?
Also I would like to be more rough with black women sexually and talk dirty to them and dominate them but a white man sexually dominating a black woman in this country has a bad history so me being a white man, I tend to hold back a lot on the black female models when I'm fucking them even though my site is a hardcore rough dirty sex themed site due to fear of being labeled a racist, in this current day and age white men are being vilified in the media and accused of being racist every time I turn on the news. But the black guys in porn can dominate white women with no worries and fuck them as rough as they want with no fear of being judged a racist. I think that this is unfair and it really hinders my willingness to be more dominant with black women sexually.
I would REALLY like to hear your theories on why black women aren't into and won't do wild kinky stuff in real life and porn but if you don't want to post them I can accept that. Also do you think that I'm letting my fear of being judged a racist get the best of me? In your opinion, how common are black women who are sexually attracted to white men and fantasize about being dominated by a white man? And if there are good numbers of them how can I find them so I can fuck them and post them on my site? Thank you good sir.

Yep, the vicarious & more relatable "my dick fucking the hottest female talent"
And I'd wager that many strokers don't mind so much watching their favorite females perform with males of other races, given that said females don't single their race out in exclusion, that is.

I'm not any sort of expert with any of this and I can only tell you from my life experience and the women I know and have known in the past. Things my be totally different now and I think where a woman is from might play into her outlook on things. The stuff I'm about to say is going to rub some people the wrong and they might say I'm wrong but again I'm going from my personal experiences and I'm not saying what I say is true for everyone.
Maybe today's generation is different but most black women simply aren't attracted to white men in general. They might find some cute or handsome or whatever but generally most aren't. They see white guys as goofy or silly, weak-minded or weak willed, or "the man". You can see this in certain types of movies (comedies mostly) where black women talk about white guys and you can hear it from black women in real life when they talk about white men openly. When you hear a black woman use the term "white boy" it generally has an air of negativity to it. The same is true when they use the term "white girl". That's not to say they hate white men or can be friends with them but that perception is usually there in the back of their minds somewhere.
It seems ike in today's society (and on this site) it doesn't take much to be labelled a "racist". I think some people are much too quick to toss the word out and are too upset about things they shouldn't be giving a second thought to but I think it's better overall than letting people do a and say whatever and nothing is said or done. I'm glad people speak up when certain negative things about black people and the people who say it see/feel consequences for saying/doing certain things...but it sometime goes overboard.
When it comes to porn however I don't think the same rules should apply. Porn isn't supposed to be politically correct. It's all about fantasy. It's not meant for the masses. No one is forcing anyone to watch it and it's incredibly easy to avoid something if it offends you because you should be seeking it out and actually paying for it to see it. So if a director/studio wants to make a movie/scene that some may feel is politcally incorrect or plays to a negative stereotype, if the performers appearing in the scene are okay with shooting it they should be allowed to. This whole "What I like is okay but what I don't needs to go.." attitude of some people is ridiculous. It's so horrible for the word n**ger to be used in a scene but roughing up a woman and inflicting pain during a scene is not only okay but preffered? What kind of thinking is that?
Most kinky acts involve being dominated or humiliated to a certain degree. Most black women don't like that because most have been raised or taught or maybe it's in their DNA to be strong and not let that sort of thing happen because of their place in society. Black women tend to have a hard time moving up or being heard in society and they have to be tough and strong to maintain their presence and what little power they have. This is especially true when it comes to dealing with society and white people. Anyone who dates black women on a regular basis or around them on a regular basis will see that they are strong willed, defensive, and sometime combative. Many don't show public displays of affection the way many white women do. That's all part of their defenses to stay strong and not be totally walked on by men and society.
Stuff like rimming, being whipped or paddled, tied up, taking a load on the face is all learned things women are taught to enjoy or do it to please their man in most cases. Lets be honest, most people don't grow up with the desire to stick their tongue in the filthiest place on another human's body and to probably get a taste of one of the nastiest substances most people know. People do it and perhaps learn to like it because it gives their partner pleasure. But if you take the other person's pleasure out of the equation (and some women don't are about the guy's pleasure that much) then you're just sticking your tongue in the stinky place where excrement comes out. I imagine that's all many black women think when rimming is mentioned. Black women don't like being in postions of dominance or what they see as humiliation because they feel they must be strong and not let others take advantage of them
Again...These are my theories based on being a black man and being around the black women I've been around. This doesn't apply to all black women. Money can make a big difference in what people will or will not do.

I guess you do have a point to a degree, but I think that's mostly with American black females, which I guess is where your experience comes from. With British black females, I actually think it's more of the opposite as most of them seem to prefer white guys, but that also has to do with them being around mostly white guys their whole life, and they tend to have stereotypes about black guys on the other hand (not the same ones you mentioned, but stereotypes nevertheless).
But like you said, it's from your experience, and I can see where you're coming from.

I can name a few of white girls who are good performer but have a non "standard" (for lack of better words) mainstream look : Austin Taylor is one probably Mellanie Monroe is another ,Karen Fisher may be a third , all of them share a peculiar body type not much different than that of Alexis Texas but with very different success ,all of them were and are active in the IR sector but I don't think this is why they didn't reach the ranking they deserve even though of late at least Mellanie got some very good companies to hire her.
They have some big asses which I usually don't like , I actually avoid such asses but with some execptions . I avoided for some time any scene with Velicity Von and Brianna Love because they were marketed as big assed girls , some of their pictures on cover were photoshoped to enlarge their asses further , then I happen to see them in a scene and got hooked especially Velicity too bad she was already retired when I discovered her , she has a big ass but I'd call it great rather than just big and it's not abnormal as they marketed it, plus she is extraordinarily good performing.
Austin Taylor was also a discover made by chance it was an IR scene with Justin Slayer (well she has a record of almost 70% IR scenes it's even hard to find her performing something else) and she seemed so much involved in the scene that I wanted to see more of her , I was right she's a great performer especially in IR scenes the way she looks back at the man the moans and sound she does , well maybe not my favourite but is one of those whose presence in a movie may be worth a rental at the very least.
Such type of girls similar to that of many black performers is probably what limit their careers and the careers of those black girls with the same body type.
However even those black girls who don't have such a body are far from the kind of success of their white counterpart with the exception perhaps of Skin Diamond , but Skin has been working hard for years, many tend to forget this , I do remember a very young Skin with pink dyed hair working in some Burning Angel's features.
I always liked Misty Stone and Marie Luv if you consider that Misty is tamer than most performers she has a good career even better than many whites who never did anal or DP . Marie Luv could have been a lot bigger but still but is one of the few blacks to get a main cover at DP if I'm not mistaken, possibly the only one.
I really can't get why Ana is not much more bigger than she is , she's just beautiful one of the hotter in the whole industry and I really mean WHOLE.

The industry could have spent a few extra dollars and paid Black women the same as their counterparts. They could have promoted Black movies instead they 'chose' not to and it is costing billions. The same greed, egotism is driving the industry out of business and porn fans with it. Good news is it opens door for new studios and performers but they better act fast before this thing dies out.

we're not talking about food with promotions making you think it tastes good , we're talking about sex , either a woman arouses you or doesn't your same reasoning could be made for any other kind of women for example plumper or very big , but you can put all the commercials and promotions you want I'm not buying anything with women with a weight as low as 200 pounds.
The same way you can advertise gay sex all you want I'm not gonna getting it, nor I'm getting any She-male porn
You really think you can turn a gay to hetero just by promotions?
It's been done since forever from everybody's birth on , it didn't work
You can't change sexual orientations or tastes just promoting , it's proven ineffective, you can, however promote one girl over the similar others
There's a reason, sexual desires are driven by hormones and experiences not commercials , this is SEX not just a movie , my first major crush was a redhead I was fourteen , I'm still affected by this , red hairs almost arouse me by themselves already, freckles too.
You can advertise all you want I will always be aroused by red haired freckled women.
If you live in a society obsessed with races it's even worse , the only thing you can do is to remove this and people will begin to see a woman instead of a black woman , that is the problem.

Most black guys (not all) tend to like curvy girls with bigger, rounder butts carrying a bit more weight than usual. White girls who have bodies ike that tend to get hit on more frequently by black guys and in most cases less by white guys (not all) because there was a time not that long ago when white guys considered those girls "chunky" or "thick" and the slimmer body type was more desirable to them. With these girls getting more attention coming from black guys a lot of them usually gave in to their advances and started dating/screwing black guys. A lot of the "thicker" girls in porn probably experienced this in their lives before porn and entered the biz with a preference for black men. Black men tend to have a preferene for these body types so these women usually do quite well with black fans. Then with the somewhat recent culture shift of curvy women being more desirable than before by the white masses it's made these women bigger stars in porn and more people are bigger fans of them. And having women do scenes with guys they tend to be more attracted to or prefer usually means the scene will work better these curvier white women seem to often do their best work with black performers. So they end up working a lot for companies shooting IR content.
And it's like I mentioned before why so many people are so consumed with Alexis Texas not doing IR. It's because she looks the part of girls who usually do lots of IR but she chooses not to.
When it comes to black women crossing over into "mainstream" (mostly white) porn things are reversed. Jada Fire being the obvious exception because she worked her butt off to be as hardcore as she could and earned her success based more on performance than looks. Not saying Jada wasn't goodlooking but she doesn't look like most of the black girs who've had "mainstream" porn success. In my opinion the other girls of the last decade or so of porn who've had the most success in "mainstream" porn had the certain look first and foremost and the ones who were willing to be more "wild" and "hardcore" lasted longer in the mainstream spotlight than the ones who weren't. Marie Luv's time in the spotlight was much longer than Misty's because Marie was more hardcore. Skin D. does well because she has the look and does harder stuff.
But notice other than Jada most of these black girls are "thiner". Alexis Texas has the thicker body type and is a success because of it but most of the black women who get to the top of the porn ladder tend to have thinner bodies. There are plenty of curvy black women in porn who have varying amounts of success but the ones who go on to have the most success in "mainstream" (white) porn are the ones with slim figures.
My observations... and I'm sure there are exceptions I might not be aware of.

Pinky is short, thick, and not 'certain looking' but she was a star. Babycakes, Lelani Leeane, Obsession don't look anything alike but all had great followings. The industry neglected them and now they are paying for it.

There are a lot of people overly sensitive to anything to do with black people being involved. If the girl in that scene had merely said "I'm your bitch!" no one would've said anything...probably. But toss in the work "black" and now it's racist and it's a needs to stop immediately. Why? Because a black person mentions they're black? Was it a secret before she mentioned it? Is it wrong for a person to mention or acknowledge they're black? Why is it such a horrible thing for a white girl who is clearly into black men to mention the word black during an IR scene? In the scene she's often banging him because he's black, the guy in the scene knows she's there because he's black why is it so awful that she or him acknowledge that verbally? There are girls who are attracted to black guys for whatever reason but it's somehow wrong for the black girl to mention the girl is white or the girl mention the guy is black when that might be the main reason they're both there in the first place. What, race is never mentioned amongst interracial couples? using the "n" work is a completely different matter but I've never understood the whole thing where people carry on about wanting to see more IR and wanting to see black guys doing white girls but are put off when race is acknowledged in the scene.
White "thugs"= fine. Black "thugs"= racist. White women talking about a white guy's big penis= fine. White women talking about a black guy's big penis= racist. White guy tying up a white woman= fine. White guy tying up a black woman= racist. The title: "BIG DICKS IN LITTLE TWATS"= totally fine. The tite: "BIG BLACK DICKS IN LITTLE WHITE TWATS"= racist.
It's all such silly nonsense.

Leeani Leeanne was represented by Spiegler and was basically everywhere , as you may have noticed all the major companies usually hire spieglergirls because of their professionalism , you will also notice that most of them do IR , at one point Leeanne decided to leave Spiegler and her opportunities dropped in number with no other reason that no Agency makes the girl work s good as Spiegler does , she just didn't take this into account , Marie Luv is a Spiegler too (she returned after 4 years) , and so is Skin Diamond.
It's a fault of the industry, it was HER choice.
also are you seriously saying that having the good stolen is not to be blame on the thieves but on the management?
that's weird

Pinky, Cherokee D'ass, Babycakes, Jazmine Cashmere, Mone Divine, and quite a few others are stars but they're mostly stars in "black" movies from black on black themed studios. When I say "mainstream" I mean girls who regularly work for the big studios like JULES JORDAN, EVIL ANGELS, BRAZZERS, NAUGHTY AMERICA, BANG BROS, etc.., and star/appear in movies that don't have an IR or black theme to them right along with the white women.

You mean the studios that bankrupt a multi-billion dollar industry. Their demise is the only way porn survives. They should be ran out of business asap. They don't care about anyone but themselves.

Apparently your knowledge on what is happening is hollow to say the least , I'm not even saying I know everything , but those companies already faulted or are on the verge and have been bought for a crush of bread by those who provoked their demise (i.e. Digital Playground for just $ 6 million ) , the story is complicated but would have happened whatever those companies did, whoever they hired and whoever they promoted also the multi-billion dollar Industry doesn't mean only porn flicks but all that is related to sex , stripping, webcamming, toys , personal dildos , shows , appearance , signing , Theatres incomes , advertising on sites, sexual lingerie , tools , clubs , magazines , TV shows, and even private flicks commissioned especially by some customers.
It's the whole thing

I remember her hinting at the drug problem on Twitter right after she left, actually.
Which brings me to something else. As a fan, there's a lot of times when I look at a girl who had the looks and the performances and I ask myself why she didn't make it big (no matter their race), and most of the time the answer is just a lack of professionalism and/or not taking the industry seriously as a job. Whether it's a drug problem, a suitcase pimp/bad boyfriend problem, being a flake, or just being an outstandingly difficult person to work it, a lot of the time it's the girls themselves that cause their own demise, and not "the industry keeping them down".

I didn't , I referred to a post of yours with a quote where those companies were mentioned , and as I said , you have no knowledge of what really happened , also some of those companies had and still have black directors until they chose to leave : Evil Angel had Justin Slayer who hired a lot of black women then he left to found his new company Justin Slayer International doing what he already was doing at EA. Brian Pumper was director for evil Angel until had to leave and found his company Freaky Empire . Sean Michaels was director for Evil Angel left over disagreements with the company and found his own. Alexander Devoe was director for Jules Jordan until he left , Prince is his replacement.
Some of those companies actually did for years what you're saying they should , they are solid companies but not because of that.
Also nobody sabotaged anybody , your statements are naive at best , I'm not even putting the owner of a plethora of tubesites which is ultimately the most responsible for the current situation, but then again you don't seem to grasp what to steal means in porn nor the extent of such stealing

This thread has been an interesting read for me-a white guy that has lived with a lovely black female for the last 15 years. I'm mostly going to forgo the personal stuff and write a response based on my knowledge of our overall culture in the USA and how that influences this particular topic. In this case, the porn industry tends to reflect the general culture, which is often described as this great melting pot but really isn't. Groups within the population have long been segregated and I have found that the white male and black female groups intermingle less than other groups. Reasons vary but the bottom line is that the porn industry cranks out product featuring white guys with Asians, white guys with Latinas, black guys with white woman (and all the other ethnic groups) but not so much of the white guys with African American women variety.* So, in this era of an economic downturn and other issues, if the African American female performers are not getting work from the more numerous white male producers then it makes sense that "the black female adult performer" would be the first casualty of a declining porn industry.
*Threads on ADT about 'Where can I find white men with black women DVDs?' usually don't have too many responses. Of the many DVDs that I've reviewed for ADT, I've only come across a few titles; one was from the ignorant Cum Bang series, which, once again, points to overall problems within our own culture when this kind of garbage has some sort of place.

Here's my two cents, in my humble opinion there is a line that the average "black female adult performer" will not cross in terms of today's popular porn productions. Obviously we (Americans) still have some issues to work out regarding racism. However I don't believe that supply/demand, an arguably racist industry and consumer base should be held completely responsible. The only color that really matters to big business is green ($).
I've been a consumer of adult entertainment for decades. Compare porn from each decade (70's, 80's, 90's etc.) and you'll notice that sexual acts have become more and more controversial. There was a time that you could not shoot a close up of female genitalia; compare this to what's popular today, direct shots of hardcore anal, double anal, ass eating, gaping, fisting and prolapse porn are produced with regularity.
I've read where current porn directors/producers have stated that they would love to shoot more black female stars but most of them are just not willing to do what white/European female performers will excitedly do for the camera. If there was a black equivalent to Roxy Ray, Amy Brooke or Hotkinkyjoe I guarantee there would be a market for it.

With a large number of black female performers I feel their biggest problem isn't "racism" in porn or refusal to do certain acts or even that more people prefer to watch white women. For many of the black female stars the biggest thing holding them back is themselves. I see lots of lower end black porn productions starring black women I'm surprised anyone would want to watch with ridiculous names. These women will have flabby bodies, bad teeth, bad make-up and wear cheap looking bad wigs. In most of these productions they'll have the better looking women on the cover to lure the consumer in and fill the remainder of the movie with those rough looking women. Some of these women also have porn names that are so silly I often wonder if people call them by those names during the shoot.
There are good looking/hot black women in porn but from what I've seen they are usually aren't the norm. Those good looking almost always end up rising up in the porn ranks and get swooped up to star movies/scenes from the bigger studios. I usually only watch black female movies made by the bigger studios because they only use the hotter black women. To me it seems like there are only a small number of hot black women in porn at any given time and they get somewhat steady work in the majors.
In my mind a lot of those women could help their career greatly by just trying to improve their looks and picking a name that people would take seriously.

I notice that most posters have some very valid reasons as to why we don't see many black female performers and I know I couldn't add any that haven't already been said but none of them matter because in the end we don't have enough women of color and I think it's fair to say that we would all like that the be corrected. Preferably sooner than later.

Thank you for your question, Realtip. The reason why only a collaboration of popular white male performers and popular production companies (this includes the top online Adult companies) is:
1) The overwhelming majority of adult entertainment consumers are white and most are not going to identify with black on black pairings. They will want to see hot black girls with white guys. Black adult entertainment consumers will still buy it too.
2) Because overwhelming majority of adult entertainment consumers are white, it's going to take pairings with the top white male talent to give the black girls the exposure they will need to build name recognition and a fanbase. Also, black girls tend to be more sexually uninhibited with white men. I think this is because Black people tend to regulate each other when it comes to forms of expression that are not seen as "acting black"--whether it be in musical tastes, fashion, associations, and also sexuality. This type of shunning often stifles creativity and personal freedom in our community.
Notice that most black-on-black porn scenes have a "we-all-just-kickin-it-on-film" kinda vibe which usually lowers the sexual intensity; whereas interracial scenes tend to have a much more lustful "I'm-going-to-tear-that-white/black-ass up" vibe which usually lends itself to greater sexual intensity. For example, I like Lexington Steele and L.T. both as performers/directors and try to support their stuff. But, I think their performances are very different when they're paired with black girls. You can sense that there is a level of racial solidarity and bonding that has taken place that makes the scene flow more like love-making than fucking. I don't think anything is wrong with love-making or that these are necessarily bad scenes, but I watch porn to see hot girls get fucked. I can make love at home.
3) I think a key to increasing the numbers of Black girls in porn and producing black female mega-stars is for someone in the industry to recognize how diverse "Black" in America has become. It no longer means just African American. They are now large Black communities of Ethiopians, Somalis, Nigerians, Ghanaians, Ugandans, Liberians, Dominicans, Haitians, Eritreans, southern India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. There are some smoking hot exotic looking girls from these ethnicities who are now partying and fucking like All-American girls. We need to get them in front of the camera! But it's going to have to be white guys to do it. Girls from these communities are much more receptive to white men than African American men. The same applies when you visit their countries of origin. They do not choose to identify themselves as Black because of negative stigmas (but I'm not here to delve deeply into that).White men can operate much more freely and successfully among them. In fact, there is already a guy (I think he's Italian) who has a website where he fucks African girls P.O.V. The quality is not very good but I think it's a good idea if done well.
One of the things I loved about Pierre Woodman's old videos was occasionally he would discover these exotic African girls like Bettina Campbell (Ethiopia?), Bagheera from Somalia, Tabatha Cash (Algerian/French), and Julia (aka Lydia) Chanel who is also Algerian/French. Thus far the directors in America have only come up with a couple of non-African American black girls like Caramel (Panama) and Kiwi (Belize) and very briefly Brooke Harlow (Haiti). As you can tell by this short list, girls from these other Black ethnicities, though very few in number, have produce some very memorable performers!
Therefore, it is very much, the White Man's Burden (j/k (that means just Kipling...lol...no just kidding) ...but that would make a good title for a new international Black girl gonzo series) to go out into the world, dick and camera in hand, and bring the girls of the African race into and on top of the new modern Porn World.

You know I always thought it was a shame that nobody did a feature with Desiree West in the 70's.I always thought the movies was much better with Desiree in it.But because she was Black she was designated to the best friend role.

Desiree West was before my time but from what little I've seen of her in my mind she was the black Seka of that era. Was she a big star during her time?

She wasn't a big star in the sense of an Annette Haven or Marilyn Chambers or someone like that.

@Flash, you're missing the point of what I posted.Yes, she was in a ton of movies no question about that.My point was she was never a feature star.Desiree was always in a supporting role.Maybe the film The Joy Of Letting Go where she play the hooker Topaz trying to teach a rich White lady how to be a hooker might be consider a staring role but she was bill as a co star and then under a different name Susie Sung Lee.

Look at the major porn companies (Brazzers, NaughtyAmerica, DigitalPlayground, etc.), and see how often they have scenes with black performers, male or female. The answer is rarely, if ever. RealityKings does have a site starring black chicks, and BangBros does also occasionally shoot them, but that's about it for the most part. This explains why black women are mainly being shot by black porn companies, as it appears that black men are not the only ones facing discrimination by white porn companies. As for Skin Diamond, her light complexion and emo appearance does make it more possible for her to crossover, similar to how non-white men in porn can be considered "not black" for IR purposes if they're light enough.
1.) Again, considering that white men comprise the majority audience for IR porn, and that black men don't seem to have a problem "identifying" with seeing white men on screen, I don't see how this would be an issue. The whole idea that the male performer has to be the same race as the viewer obviously doesn't hold water. If it did, then white guys wouldn't watch IR, and black guys wouldn't watch white porn.
2.) It's not as if black pornstars don't already have name recognition and fanbase. The problem, as I've said before, is that most of the porn industry now is limiting itself to only type of product, which is tame vanilla sex starring vanilla white pornstars. Also, if it's true that black women are more sexually inhibited than white women, then this is true regardless of the race of the male partner. If black women are more sexually inhibited, then they're not going to suddenly become less inhibited just because you pair them with white dudes, which means the sex is probably going to be the same regardless of whether the guy is white or black. Plus, the fact that they're doing porn already makes them less inhibited than most other women.
3.)You say "it's going to have to be white guys to do it." Not true. That's only true if your preference is only to see these girls being fucked by white dudes. I do not agree with that. The black porn companies that have capitalized on shooting these girls have disproven the misconception that white guys are the only ones we want to see with hot girls, black or white. It doesn't matter whether these girls are fucking Mandingo or Manuel, as guys who like them will watch them either way. The difference is that Mandingo will shoot these girls whereas Manuel won't, which is fine with me as long as I get to see the girls. The reality is that American porn is segregated by race, which means that black performers are much more likely to get shoots with black companies than with white companies.

I'm not sure about that, it is a fact that we see an enormous amount of white performers going in and out of porn and some of them aren't much less inhibited than the black, they are more, a lot more , or maybe are a lot more those who come to a some notoriety , but for example Midori was pretty wild , Monique was as great as any great white performer and more she was a Euro level , Marie Luv is a top performer at any rate and I remember Meka Johnson who wasn't particularly wild , yet she did a ten men gangbang who lasted well over an hour .
Skin Diamond is off chart but then she's been raised in Europe
Ana Foxxx is considered vanilla , well she's regular at BDSM sites and worked with Mike Adriano
I watched regularly that Woodburn series in search of black cheerleaders (I witnessed the first appearance of a great performer in there , it was Destiny Big aka Marie Luv) there was a number of impressively attractive black women (which was the reason I followed the series) who you can barely see elsewhere. Some did anal in their first scene , not much inhibited in my view , but almost all of them disappear or had a very short career.
I mean their scenes were no different than those you could find at the contemporary Kelly the Coed series back then possibly even better
I think it's a matter of opportunities offered , Mandingo had some movies with black girls only , Lex had some too and still has some are anal (Black Panther for example) there are white girl who refuse those guys , yet there are black girls who went deep with them,
To sum it up, I don't think that black girls are overall more inhibited than white performers , possibly only if you count the Eurobabes , but then that would be another whole story that involves different cultures different views toward sex and ultimately millennia of decadence , it goes well beyond the performers themselves

The problem here seems to be an understanding of the English language. To whit, "rarely" and "never" are not synonymous. Since I don't know who 'all others' major porn companies in the industry are that you alluded to I can't comment on that, except to say that, again, some black females do find work in porn. Even if it is less - perhaps far less - than you and I might like, it is there. Hence, when one uses the word 'never' one is descending into hyperbole, and we can't expect to be taken seriously when we do that. Well, okay, it works if you're rabble rousing, but I thought this was a serious discussion.
At any rate, is it discrimination? Oh, obviously, but whether it reflects the attitude of producers towards black people in general or just black women as vehicles for profit is beyond my ken, though I would wager a small sum on the latter.

Granted the debate is about the rise and fall of Black females in porn. And since it is not a scientific debate, just some people giving personal opinions, a solution or a honest, unbiased observation shouldn't be expected. What is obvious is the industry is declining as roles for Black females decline. If it does not change the porn industry will soon go belly up, dead as a door knob. Maybe pairing Black women with Black men instead of insisting they do white guys, rim, anal, gangbangs etc is the solution.

I see ,all the industry is doomed unless they begin to shoot black female paired with black male in vanilla scenes.
This would save them all

I don't know why you assume that there's a problem understanding the English language, just as I don't know why you feel the need to point out that the words "rarely" and "never" are not synonymous, as if we don't already know it. I haven't seen anyone say that they are.
Yes, black female performers do get work. Even if it's only one or two scenes before they disappear from porn, I guess that counts as getting work if you want to make an argument out of it. But I think you know the point is that black male and female performers are not being cast for porn scenes as much as white performers are. It is also not hyperbole to point out the clear-as-day fact that the most well-known porn companies, such as the ones that I have named, never release scenes with black performers. If they do, it is only on rare occasions, and not regular practice. Yes, this is a serious discussion, which is why I'd much rather stick to the point than getting into arguments over silly semantics.

If you find accuracy in language silly then that's fine, I'll treat your arguments accordingly.

^There is no inaccuracy. What is silly is trying to derail the point by nitpicking semantic errors that were never even used, which means that you're obviously not giving serious attention to the topic to begin with.

He's moderating this tread , thus has to read every post even more carefully than we do, plus has to take into consideration that some of us are English natives and some aren't. I am not so yes semantic specifications are needed some may actually get it wrong for example some of the companies you mentioned are owned by the same property and have entire lines devoted to black girls (Reality King's Round and Brown for example or their black GF series) or IR plus some are owned by the same company thus they aren't competing with each other
It should also be noted that Round and Brown basically stopped in 2010 it is the new owner who restarted it , as much as I don't like Manwin they're not racists , possibly some of their directors may be but not the company (not to mention that here in Europe you may pay dearly for being racist , even the notion of human "races" is almost outlawed , I myself have issues to use such concept , can't even think that way)

I no longer moderate the forums.
Ad hominem? That's pretty childish, realtip. I wasn't the one who chose to make the point with inaccurate and overinflated claims. I wasn't the one denying my own words.
Again, the major companies you say will not shoot black performers shoot Skin Diamond, they shoot Megan Vaughn, et al. Apparently, they'll shoot anybody they can make money on. Does this mean they aren't racist? Of course not, but you haven't offered sufficient proof that they are, either.

First, I want to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has taken time to post comments and read this thread! That said, let’s just stipulate that racism does still exist in the world and the Adult Industry probably has its share of it. However, I think it is not productive to accuse individuals who work in Adult Entertainment or the Industry as a whole, of racism; especially without substantiation in the form of either firsthand accounts, documentation, or legal rulings to that effect. Short of that, I think unsubstantiated accusations of racism only make people feel defensive; and result in devolving into personal attacks, the stifling of open discussion, and deterring others who may want to offer opinions on the topic of this thread, from doing so.
One great thing that has already happened in this thread is this: though there is a wide and excellent array of opinions as to why the number of Black female performers has drastically declined, there is a consensus that there definitely has been a decline. That is a major development! Now the question is why? And then, how can it be remedied?
