It's a question i feel compelled to ask because as i look around in the current climate, most black females in the game today with the exception of a few have vastly more interracial scenes than they do black ones. Infact it's now gotten to the point where many black female performers don't even do black porn period. Back in the day from what i remember most black females would start out in black porn and do interracial porn here and there. Then if they got popular they would do more and more IR porn with the big companies and either do that exclusively or just partake in a couple of black scenes every now and then. So basically it would be the complete reverse of how they started. Jada Fire, Marie Luv and Codi Bryant i would cite as examples of that philosophy.
I know some might say "don't the guys do the same?" but if you look at most of the top studs resumes the majority have consistently shot black porn in their careers.
Now of course what the females do in the porn industry is up to them, but one wonders whether this is the result of studios simply having no interest in black porn, the women themselves not wanting to shoot black porn or a little bit of both?
With the bootytalk series coming to an end and this trend growing by the year the future of black porn isn't looking too bright right now sadly.

It seems that way and its a shame. It's bad enough that the white and Latina girls do it. Now u have these sellout so called black women choosing not to be with there own race. But what do u expect from this generation of self hating fools. I say the only way to combat this dodgin problem for all races. Is to not hire them when they do decide to cross over. And stop paying these white girls more to do black dudes. Either, u do it at the same rate as white men or don't do it at all. Once u hit these women in the pockets and they lose money they will start seeking out black male talent.
I'm hearing Anya Ivy and Jezabel Vessir don't do black men. If so I say fuck them even though they are both beautiful. Can u imagine if legends like Caramel, Michelle Tucker, Pinky refused to do black men. They wouldn't be the legends they are point blank.
Women like Nina Hartley, Annika Albtite, Jada Stevens, Belladonna, Sasha Grey, Tori Black, Naomi Russell have done brothas from day 1. That's why they are some of the greatest performers and most requested women.

With the last sentence, my retort is "if you say so". Doing IR from day 1 isn't the definitive answer why those women are/were frequently requested. Chanel Preston and Kagney Linn Karter didn't do it from the start but they're not exactly unpopular...

If anyone thinks Black women or any other race of women are going to stop having sex with Black men they are crazy lol...the industry is dying because it wants to convince the world otherwise.

I love WM-BF scenes so that's a good thing for me. There's tons of black porn so you can't be serious.

^"There's tons of black porn so you can't be serious."
No, there isn't.
I watch a lot of black porn, or at least I did. That was until the niche began to shrink the last two years. Just take a look at the newest releases in the "black" section of xrent.com All the "newer" releases are either compilations or budget titles from the lower tier studios. Where are new releases from WCP, Black Ice, Elegant and so on? Obviously those companies would maintain or increase black production if it continued to sell.
As far as black women go, many of them just take what they're given. What should these women do? Insist the director book a black guy instead? Directors mostly care if their scene/movies sell, so I don't expect talent or production to go out it's way to fulfill a niche that as of now (in terms of profit) barely exists.
I know waiting for a hot black girl to start banging black guys is the fucking most anti-climatic thing in porn, but that's appears to be the cold reality of the market right now.
True, some women have purposely held-off; but really how many of those women do you know are anti-black guys? Jezabel Vessir for example, gave a bj to a black guy on camera. It's mostly timing for her, not self-hatred. (and would you expect anything less from someone represented by LA Direct)
I don't get the hater vibe from Anya Ivy, either. At the risk of generalizing, black women who don't like black men are usually pretty open about it. And I haven't seen any evidence of her putting that out there. Anecdotal, I know...but no more presumptuous than assuming she hates her own race.
Maybe it's just branding or timing for her as well. It's not like these ladies have been in porn for years. Have faith or move on, I don't blame anyone for either choice.

If you notice, you usually get that don't do Black Men from mix race girls I e Anya Ivy.Raay Reynolds was another one who came iinto the industry saying the same thing. Then you had Lavish Styles also not doing Black Men.Marie Love came back into the industry saying she'll only work with White men.But I also have bring up Shane Diesel who to my knowledge never work with Black females so it works both ways. My people will never advance,Dr King must be turning in his grave.

It is wishful thinking on someone's part that Black women will not sleep with Black men lol...especially women who work in the porn industry. If they say something like that it is because they believe it will get them more work.

Some very interesting points guys. Now firstly let me say the girls DO have a choice whether they want to do black porn or not. Look Teanna Trump? when she first came on the scene she also practised the same trend and was doing just interracial scenes. I even remember a guy saying to her on twitter "it's a shame you don't like black men" and she responded by saying "no that's not true i love black men" and soon after she was doing black scenes and these days does an equal amount of black and interracial scenes. And there's some others who do that too.
But sadly more and more girls are taking the Anya Ivy, Cassidy Banks, Noe Milk, Nadia Jay, Adrian Maya, Daisy Ducati, Jezabel Vessir route into the game and that is why black porn is suffering. And when every new chick is starting out in IR porn these days like for example Pixie Minx one wonders if she'll just follow the same trend.

And how ironic that we're having a discussion about this and today Cassidy Banks and Jezabel Vessir have new scenes out on Brown Bunnies and Cumeatingcuckolds respectively. Both sites use black male performers regularly but surprise surprise both the scenes are interracial!!..it's sad to see women of colour totally digress the black porn genre!!..it really is.

Again, this is fantastic for people like me who are totally into white guy/black girl scenes. Back in the day this genre was very underused and it's great that it's finally starting to become big.

I've had a few black acquaintances/friends over the years who have not been interested in black men. It's not out of the realm of possibility that the pornstars in question feel similarly.
I wonder if these pornstars would be unwilling to shoot even with a male performer who is only sometimes considered "black," such as Alex Jones.

^^ We are talking a Black porn star who won't sleep with Black men for money lol..the idea is crazy and can't even be taken seriously..the truth is Black actresses leave the industry after a few movies because they are not attracted to white guys...next year Jezabel and Anya will probably be retired from porn. The industry is risking bankruptcy to compete with Black males every porn fan in the world should be mad as hell.

I'm not saying they shouldn't do IR, the issue is they appear to be turning their backs on the black genre. In this industry a large portion of women from other races don't work with black men for whatever reason so it's very disappointing to see black women also buying into this trend.

What I've noticed is that there is almost no black-on-black porn being produced anymore, period. Yeah, Lex has a series that's focused only on black girls, and I think there a couple of other black directors who have similar lines. But usually, if you see a black performer- male or female- in a scene, then it will most likely be an IR scene. Black male performers are mostly cast to be in scenes with white women because that's what the industry has determined is popular. Likewise, on the occasions when black women are cast to be in scenes, they are usually paired up with white guys.
Apparently, the porn industry has decided that no one wants to see black people fucking other black people. So everything is IR now. And Yes, you do have the one or two black female performers who have been brainwashed into believing that they have to only do white guys to keep their career going (e.g., Anya Ivy, who blocked me on Twitter when I asked her about it). After all, we all know that porn is a racist industry. But for the most part, it's not that these black female performers won't do black guys. It's just that they're not getting booked because no one really shoots those scenes anymore.
The industry in general is dying. So black-on-black porn, which was only a small part of the industry to begin with, has died an even quicker death along with it.

^^Exactly my point, realtip.
I think people are taking a couple examples and extrapolating it into some sort anti-black porn movement by black women. If people want to see these women, ease off the gas and replace most of your IR castings suggestions to Lex and Mimefreak with said black women and you may actually get your wish a lot sooner.

I disagree tbh. If the ladies are determined to perform in a specific genre they will do so. Anya Ivy, Cassidy Banks, Jezabel etc all came into the industry at a similar period to Teanna Trump but look at Teanna's resume compared to theirs? Skin Diamond could easily dine out on IR and lesbian scenes too if she wants but no, she's also shot a lot of black scenes!!..same with Misty Stone.
So basically just like when Dani Daniels decided to shoot an IR movie for Blacked. If a woman wants to do something they will, the black female performers are no different.

Consumers who are fed up with the direction porn is taking can fund and distribute movies they want to see...the studios are not needed to do that and it would usher in a new era of porn...it has to be done right though because there is a lot of room for theft, piracy etc but it can and probably has to be done if porn is going to survive another year.

I don't presume to know how any porn actress really feels about anything they do for the camera.Saying that Ive been worndering for yrs why there aren't more Blk women in mainstream videos.I don't watch any movies unless there are at least two women in the scenes. It would be really nice if one was blk every once in a while. If I was a blk women I would be pissed.I personally enjoy opposites fucking.big & small short &tall old with young hairy & shaved so many girls look so much the same it gets boring.Just wish they would mixed things up some

There have never been as many black women in porn as compared to white women. Hence, the ool of black females have always been a lot smaller. Of that smaller pool of black women a large percentage of them simply aren't the kind of girls who will ever appear in movies/scenes from most of the major studios. That means the major of those girls can (did) only work with the smaller black companies who wer pretty much the only studios to employee them. Now that porn has taken a major hit in sales most of those snmaller companies have closed shop. That means no work for that large perecentage of girls...so they left porn. Of the handful that were able to work for the bigger studios they simply aren't getting that much work and of that work most of it is IR. The amount of black on black porn being produced has been cut way back. So even if those girls wanted to do more black on black porn they don't have many options.
There's not much more to it than that...although the conspiracy theories are entertaining to read.

The first step in the new era of porn is information. People outside the industry don't know how it works. If you had a brief rundown of what it takes to make a Black on Black movie with your favorite stars and scenes it could be on the market in a month or two...The next step in the process could be addressed after the first movie is made.

Also there's a raising interest for black girls , there are more of them on usually almost all whites sites , they work where they can , maybe it isn't big enough to sustain a site like Blacked but with Black female beauties instead of males , I'd join first day if it was, currently I'm member of dogfart only because they have a site devoted to black girls and I want to support this trend , though it's falling down into their usual crappy plots even having very attractive stars in there.
I'd like more sensual usually

Perhaps all-black porn-makers lost their porn audience, because they misread the porn market and were making outdated kind of porn that people didn't want to see anymore.
Anal is all the rage in porn now. Some of the most popular films, like those of Mike Adriano, show the guy go straight-to-anal, all-anal on the ladies. Manuel Ferrara is also pretty anal with his ladies, and this is in part what makes his films so popular.
Anal, anal, and more anal. That's what black women need to do to succeed in today's porn world. And Marie Luv is a good example for them. She now has 476 porn titles to her name at www.iafd.com. Some of her titles are compilations of the films she made before. But this just shows Marie's popularity and people's desire to watch her anal sex with guys even now.
When you think black women, then you don't think anal. And that's the problem.
I've read somewhere that even for all-black porn, a big part of the audience was white porn-fans. Perhaps it's these white porn-fans who wanted to see more anal, and they left as a result.
Perhaps now there is a cultural disconnect between black and white porn. Only the white culture became more anal. While the black culture remained pussy-oriented. And this might explain why black women aren't in the habit of getting the anal guys to go straight-to-anal, all-anal on them. Which is what the pretty black lady needs to do to acquire a good anal reputation.
Having some pussy-sex first and then anal, just isn't good enough anymore. The black lady needs to take guys straight-to-anal, all-anal to destroy her pussy-only stereotype and attract the full attention of anal porn fans.

Because they're less in demand for the most part , low demand low earnings ,low payments. It is not a salary which must be equal for everyone , this depends on sales ,Skin Diamond most likely earns more than the most part of her white colleagues , she even steals the covers because she is the one who sells, the one who pushes the product. just being in there.
Maybe not as much as Anikka Albrite , but more than most

Mine or Dan's?
I don't know it may be a reason, with exceptions black stars are usually a little bit more tamed than whites , but still it's not always true many stars made a career basically with no anal say Lexi Belle (2 at the end of her career) Anikka become the great Anikka way prior of starting anal. Riley Reid doesn't do any anal and so is for most of the DP contract Stars , for Tera Patrick and many others.
Furthermore there are many stars who are or were very active with anal scenes who aren't as popular as those I mentioned , for example Zoey Monroe or Penny Pax , not to mention Chastity Lynn
Among the black stars many do anal and are truly beautiful, Ana Foxxx comes to mind she even did Mike Adriano , but still she's not as appreciated as she should be

^ I think Skin is actually selling herself short. I think Skin's looks and performance skills play a major roll in her crossover and porn success plus she might just be dependable and easy to work with. And her success feeds off itself to the point she's become the black girl porn and her name is probably the first one to come to mind when directors are casting. Yeah, overall there aren't a lot of black girls who do anal compared to white female performers but there are plenty who do. Some have gotten their shot at that position but for whatever reason they didn't get cast more than a time or two.
Anal isn't everything...Misti (I'm blanking on her last name) was the black girl for awhile and didn't do anal.

Not a factor for this discussion. Yeah, it may true for black female performers overall comparitively and some people want to think everyone should be treated equally and all that but that's not how things work. The "supply and demand" angle has already been pointed out...look at it in another way if you don't agree with that as a reason. Most black women tend to work less in porn overall in general. If they are working less at a lower price, then how will increasing their rate get them more work? One of the reasons the smaller studios were hiring a lot of those girls to begin with is/was because they were more affordable for the production. If they raised their rates many of them would be pricing themselves out of work. These girls simply aren't equals when it comes to moving product and no studio is going to pay top dollar for a girl with no "heat" or demand and can't move product for the sake of being politically correct or fair.

There are plenty of black women doing plenty of anal, easy find it...in amateur porn. So, it's probably not a cultural thing. Black porn has less anal because that's the way the producers produce it. And the producers produce what (they believe) the audience wants. If anal were a requirement, they could find plenty of black women who willingly do anal. As it stands, it seems that having a booty (a big booty is a plus) and a willingness to fuck on camera and a reasonably attractive appearance are the main requirements for black women to get into porn. If you need to blame someone, blame the producers for not producing anal scenes.

Perhaps it's the cultural thing for black men. They are the ones who want pussy-sex, rather than anal.
And this might explain the demise of black porn. The audience for black porn was made up of both black and white guys. White guys wanted to see more anal, and they went elsewhere to find it. While the remaining black porn fans weren't enough to sustain the black porn industry.
A good example is the Booty Talk series that produced 100 films and then folded permanently last year.
This series focused on black women's asses. But there wasn't much anal sex in it. Which is a big no-no nowadays. It's almost like false advertising. Because when the pretty lady shows you her nice ass on the front-cover, then it's like she is inviting you to watch her get nailed in the ass in the film.
It's hard to say for sure why black porn isn't doing well nowadays. But it's a well known fact that the black community in USA is a lot poorer than the white community. Which probably means that the black porn-audience has less money to spend on porn and other things. Black women and black porn need to include the white audience in their appeal. Or else they aren't going to make much money at it. And appealing to the white audience nowadays means lots of anal for the ladies.

Yes it's hard to say for sure. The porn creators have to make the correct important decisions regarding which type of porn to produce. Maybe anal is as important as you say it is. Maybe it isn't. Maybe it depends on the audience. And who knows what is the most important audience, who are actually buying the subscriptions/DVDs? It's hard to know for sure.

LOL! So black people had money to buy porn for all those years that BOOTY TALK and studios like BLACK MARKET, BLACK ICE, etc., etc., were thriving and suddenly in past couple of years they had less money to buy porn and that's why black on black sales are down? Wouldn't the more reasonable explaination be that all porn sales are down across the board because of all the free porn on the net and the smaller companies that included studios that produced black on black porn were hit the hardest and folded first?

What need is there for "research"? Studios put out and try different things from time to time. They simply keep doing the stuff that sells for them and don't do the stuff that doesn't.

Market research is a standard practice for any big or small business. Because it costs too much to produce products that don't sell well.
And if you look at the Booty Talk series that produced 100 films between 1998 and 2014, then you will see that these films didn't change much at all over the years. The first 10 films of this series showed really good-looking black women having mostly pussy-sex. Only Booty Talk #8 was really anal. And that's the way this series stayed until its demise in 2014. The last 10 films in this series are also mostly pussy-sex, with only occasional women having anal sex.
They didn't change or evolve this series at all. They just kept producing the same thing, until the audience changed and people stopped buying.
There is some mystery and controversy about just who the audience for black porn is. Is it only black guys who watch black porn? Or is it white guys too? And if both are watching black porn, then how important are they relative to each other in terms of the money they spend on black porn?
These are important questions to answer. Because the white and black audiences for black porn might have different tastes in sex, such as one wanting more anal, while the other wanting more pussy.

I agree with this statement in a way. I do believe that black women are turned away from porn, but I also believe that, there are lots of white, asian, and latina girls that dont have the look that porn producers are looking for.
As to the subject though, I do believe that black, mixed girls are turning away from not just black porn but porn in general. Of course you have some girls coming into the industry but I would say that black women and many mixed race and even some latinas themselves have seen that the porn industry is not one where they can really make their own mark and have said thanks but no thanks. They have turned to other avenues within the "skin game" where they can flourish. Many of these women I am sure are smart enough to know that no matter what they do they will never rise to a certain level in porn but there are other places in entertainment where their looks and sex appeal would be greatly appreciated and the audience might be equal to or greater than porn. Many black and mixed women have turned to the world of hip hop as a means of breaking into the entertainment and being avideo vixen might be more of an attainable goal than being a top pornstar and many of these video vixens get the same adoration and praise from guys that pornstars get and some might get more noteriety in certain circles. They also can often break into mainstream entertainment or go on to have normal careers and lives much more easily when they are done, not to say there is not a stigma with them either though. Just look at girls like Karrine Steffans, Lauren London, Amber Rose, Esther Baxter, and Melyssa Ford if these women had chosen to go into porn they probably could have had nice careers but the atlernative route that they took led them to the top of the video vixen world and other opportunities outside of it. So if you are a young black or mixed girl looking to use your sex appeal in your career and you see all these women that look like you have success going down one road and then down another road you seen fewer girls that look like you and what success they have is limited what road are you taking.

It's not like BOOTY TALK is a company unto itself. It's a niche product under a larger umbrella. WCP has put out all types of porn over the years and know exactly what products/sex acts/movies sell better than others for them. Why pay a company to tell them an all girl or solo girl movie won't sell as good as their IR stuff? Why pay a company to tell them that some fans are really into seeing anal sex? Why pay a company to tell them black guys with big penises will be more profitable for them than average hung white guys? No need for reseach when they have actual hard numbers of what sold well and what didn't.
It didn't change because it was a niche series that gave it's customers what it advertized...big booties. It lasted for years because it stayed true to itself and it's audience. It never claimed to be an anal series. "Booty" doesn't automatically equate "anal". If the series was never really about anal why would people suddenly be turned off by it not being something it never was or claimed to be? I don't think the audience changed as much as it just got smaller as it did with the rest of porn industry. If anal is the big seller these days they can just put out an actual anal series.
Whites account for the biggest section of the porn audience. I don't think the black audience is big enough to make anything a big hit by themselves. Black fans may have a strong presence in certain porn genres but if whites and other races aren't buying it, it will likely struggle...even moreso these days. It's very clear when you look at a lot of the IR porn out there. It's clearly aimed at a white audience and their fetishes.

PS. I watched black-on-black porn for the good looking women, nice butts and LACK of anal.
For me anal often took the heat out of a scene as the girl was either uncomfortable or the energy just dropped, plus obsessions with big penetration close-ups, gross excessive gaping and that goofy thing where the girl spreads her ass while fucking.

I think it's possible to do market research on the internet without spending a lot of money. Because you can just present website visitors with smaller clickable pictures of various porn ladies performing various sex acts. Visitors clicking more or less on these pictures will give you pretty good statistics about what it is that people like, and what they want to see.
Many porn websites are very popular and have many visitors. Which means you can get pretty good statistics just by putting such pictures there in the form of ads. This kind of thing would cost a lot less money and be more informative than making a whole movie and then finding out whether it sells or not.
When you make a whole movie, then it might not sell well, just because it has a wrong cover picture or something like that. There are too many variables in a movie, and this makes its selling or not selling less informative than presenting website visitors with individual pictures to choose from.
I haven't done any such market research. But I think it's just common sense that anal porn-fans are the natural audience for women with big, sexy asses. Because that's the kind of women anal porn-fans like. And many black women are especially attractive in this regard.
It's of course up to black women with nice asses to decide whether they want to be in the porn business or not. But if they choose to be in the porn business, then it makes sense for them to go anal in a big way, because anal porn-fans are their natural audience, and that's with whom they are mostly likely to succeed in porn.

I think we can add Nadia Jay to the ever growing list of black women turning their backs on black porn guys. Whether it's simply a matter of "taste" or minds have been brainwashed into following their Caucasian colleagues who don't partake in the IR genre for whatever reason i think it's a dangerous trend that is emerging here. Already a large percentage of Latino, White and Asian female performers in the industry don't work with black men, so now when you add black women into the mix the picture starts to look even more bleaker for black male talent.

Are there any actual evidence that this many black stars are refusing to work with black male talents?
I find it hard to believe , there are some changes in the market though , black stars are more in demand there's more interest , I see more IR scenes WM/BF than in the past.
You may say that this proves the point but actually it doesn't , if nobody shoots such scenes then no one hires you and you can't exercise any option because you haven't any , if such scenes are actually shot then there's interest in them and they shoot them.
Dogfart started a site dedicated to black girls , in Blacked thread there's a demand for doing the same kind of porn but with black girls
On the other hand there are way less all black scenes available , many companies who used to shoot such scene died or are struggling to survive.
So less scenes with black available with more scenes with whites available give the result you're seeing .
If a star does more IR than before is most likely due to the current trend in the market rather than a personal choice
