Well, it's not so much about what "feels" better, but the steady paycheck, really. I had fun in the industry, and I'm kind of disappointing that so much of it is based on the West Coast. I was only able to shoot out there a few times last year, and 90% of the porn that you can find of me is from those few shoots. In a way, that might be good for fans though, because that means there are still unseen scenes with me out there! Monsterfilmz.net is releasing some its footage already through a Clips4sale store, and Brandonlongwood.com should be launching soon. I've had the privilege of seeing the site pre-launch in it's beta form, and it really is a neat site so far. He has chosen to mix social networking with the traditional porn site, which means that you don't just get to jerk off to the girls, you can interact with them as well. I'll keep that profile around for a while as he goes through the launch, but pretty much everything else I've had up, Adult Space, xpeeps, and others, are gone. I've got my email address, my Twitter account, Model Mayhem, and ADT. You guys have really been amazing, and between here and Twitter, I've met some great people. Besides, when Manchester United takes home the trophy this year, I have to be able to rub Melt's nose in it a little, don't I? In the end, I had more positive experiences in the industry than negative ones, and I was able to help keep my family afloat in this super shitty economy. I didn't catch any diseases, I didn't develop a drug habit, and I did my best to keep it honest with everyone both public and private. There are some bad people out there, but there's a whole lot of good as well. No, most people aren't going to get rich doing this, I know I didn't, and yes it can take a toll on your head from time to time, but in the end, you're only young once, so live for yourself and not for the idiots and assholes who want to tell you how to live. But now, I have a chance to make money doing something else that I love, something I can use my education in. Not to mention, I'm 26, and these DDs aren't going to stay up for forever. :) In the meantime, keep an eye out for scenes to pop up in a few places. I'm not terribly shocked. No one was really calling from LA before, and the way agents work (vs how they're supposed to) means that anyone outside of LA with a head for business is pretty much excluded. I wish I would hear (or would've heard) from directors directly, but when they have agents throwing a ton of flavors of the week at them, why go through the trouble of booking someone from further away? The reality is, proximity and dependability matter more in this biz than talent or looks. Still, I think the Trek stuff would've been awesome. I'm surprised they just do movies though. If they did it as a weekly, or even monthly series with streaming-only distribution and Hulu-style ads, they could be making money hand over fist!
I'm glad I slept through the match this morning, grrrr... The good thing about Barca, when we face them, they'll have been through the ringer already thanks to Jose. As it stands, I don't doubt they'll be under fresh scrutiny, and that could be the advantage we need. Well, that and we play at Wembly, and that counts for something too I think! I also think City can handle Stoke without issue. The league is coming down to the wire though, and we're tied with Chelsea on goal difference, so we better start scoring more!

I am happy to see that things are working out for you. I won't second guess your decision to make adult film, but I think it is an understatement to say I will miss your adult films and I will look for the material on all of those sites you mentioned. I wish you a great deal of success in your new store you are launching. It would be cool if you could make a documentary about your adult film past given your inside knowledge of the business, and your first hand experiences in dealing with all of the aspects of the deal making that goes on behind the scenes in gettting a shoot. The biggest thing to me is the pace. American football is slow. They take time outs, commercial breaks, and their sweet ass time between each play. There's a lot of waiting in American football. It's a lazy spectator sport, and they stop playing when there's still time left on the clock. In English football, they NEVER stop playing until the whistle blows. Part of that is because the points count for something, even when you loose. In basketball, you have the pace, but you also have a teeny-tiny court and inflated scores. You can seriously tune into a basketball game in the fourth quarter and get everything you want in 20 minutes. Yes, the scores are high, but they're meaningless. Most games are won by a basket or two. Baseball is the second most boring sport in the world, after golf, but before race car driving. Race cars at least sometimes crash, but Baseball goes even slower than American football! Hours upon hours of watching grown men stand in pretty much one place waiting for something to happen. If they're getting paid to wait, why should I wait with them? Golf is worst because, well, it is. Even on a big HD TV, it's nearly impossible to see where the ball is, so you're staring at shots of the sky or the grass for hours. And Golf really isn't a competition between 2 or more people, it's a competition against one's self. Never got into tennis or hockey or rugby, so I can't say there. Another thing that appeals to me about soccer though is that religious fanaticism. I watched my first match with my fiancee, and he went insane. Normally he's a well spoken, well educated man of culture who only gets animalistic in bed, but when a Manchester United game comes on, he can get scary, in a good way. He's got their crest tattooed to his bicep, and has had shouting matches with people in public about it. What's really odd is that these are people that he never talks to or about, except when football comes up. There's like this strange underground world of fans here, and they're like non-violent characters from the Highlander movies. There's even a couple of soccer pubs in my city, with one that caters to pretty much all English soccer, and another run by an Irishman that is outspokenly a Manchester United supporting pub. The owner has been known to serve drinks in a full kit, and they serve Boddington on tap. It's crazy, and fun, and always moving and I love that passion and intensity. It's a hard drug to overcome :)
You know, I could fly out to LA tomorrow and shoot with a few people, like Blacks on Blondes and Ultima DVD, but it's money and time I'd have to invest, and in this economy... Maybe I'll get a bug to do it again for kicks, but I'm keeping busy, so who knows. I just saw Kink is putting up a fun looking site called Bound Gang Bangs, and I'd drop everything for a Kink shoot, but it's been almost a year since I heard from them, so I'm not holding my breath. A documentary? That might be cool actually! I'd have to figure out how to finance it, but I think I could do it. :)

Better to watch on TV than at the circuit I'd guess though. Would you believe once I saw a bike fly through the air and hit a biker in the back of the head with its front wheel! What makes your case so interesting is that most people may not admit there is something that makes them curious about finding out to what recourse some otherwise everyday wholesome everyday looking folks will turn just to dabble in their curiosity. Whether it be driven by personal finances or that "itch" or a combination of the two. The striking thing is there are some adult actresses who can't help but present themselves in a slutty way as part of their porn persona, where as others (such as in your case I believe) are the type of girl you would see in a mall or a grocery store with those big juicy mounds, thinking in your mind. "Boy what I wouldn't give to have some of that" and I think that adds to the erotica allure of porn. Add to that your insider knowledge of the unsavory and interesting aspects of the business and all of the ups and downs of a porn payday. This makes for a very savory story. The best part is most people watching this on HBO or showtime or something like that would watch it and say "Bullshit!! There is no way that hot mama ever made porn". If nothing else I am sure it would be used as good information to let women out there know that it is OK to make adult films. You don't have to end up in a padded cell or doped up on drugs. It CAN be a very fun and memorable experience.
