One thing about GW is that they don't always pick the most popular mainstream model to be the GOTM. They pick models who are popular with the members and put in great work just as, if not even more, often than the picks that are obviously just to promote a feature or create a little buzz. GW is going to have no problem finding GOTM's without having repeats any time soon, especially when there's girls like Ivy Wolfe who debuted Sunday and all I could think of is "she has that star potential" in her. ^ Despite GW getting trapped with MG and the steadfast refusal of that fanbase to allow for any creativity, I really appreciate that they do try different things where they can from time to time even if it turns out to be a disaster. This, the upcoming extreme lactation scene, Karla's pregnancy scene, the Sara/India foot fetish scene, letting Bree Daniels get blasphemous for her scene with Jenna, some of the sci-fi stuff, the meta scenes, and some pairings you wouldn't initially expect. I'm surprised that the people on the Girlsway forum wouldn't like to see Jelena Jensen & Dana DeArmond together. Do you know which scenes have scored high before by them?
Both scenes featuring Dana released recently do seem to have a higher than usual number of thumbs down. I can't really say that BDSM is my thing, but I probably would have enjoyed the scene if Jelena had been paired up with somebody else.
Your original point was Eliza Jane was easily the leader in the GOTY contest at the quarter pole. Agree with you on that point. I'd say at least 2/3 of the women mentioned above would be of little competition to her. At the end of this year. 48 women will have been selected as GOTM. The pool is getting shallow.
Hello Matchmaker Both Jelena & Dana have been in numerous popular scenes at GW, however not together. Jelena is a prolific regular there. Dana did a scene Meet the Moms a couple years ago that scored a ton likes. Their latest scene has a different feel (think kink.com lite) to it and includes a ball gag. That appears to be a sticking point among the members. I,also, don't think it helps that the scene pairs up 2 "mature" performers. Mommy/daughter vibe is a pillar of the site. I think the "Kink Lite" vibe might be a key factor in the response. But I still have to commend Jelena for being willing to be so submissive, which is rare for her. And I still think a sort of "WebMature" Vignette pairing up older women together can work outside of the few times they have done it. Would love to see ladies like Mona Wales, Angela White, Chanel Preston, Kendra James have some fun together. Angela White with Jelena Jensen was awesome. Interesting pairing with Sinn Sage and Karlee Grey in Almost The Same.

The point of how they use GOTM is that they balance promotion with recognizing models that have put in great work for the site. The pool's not shallow at all and never will be.
Maybe it's not to be avoided when putting out 5 scenes pr week, but with things starting to get rather repetitive GW trying out new/different things from time to time is always good. It's a pity that MG is the only area GW doesn't dare to go even slightly outside the box.

^I think it's a small chance but still a chance. People have been asking for Euro Girls to be on GirlsWay for a while. I think a Euro Girls Vignette would be perfect, matching up some of the biggest names with some of GirlsWay finest. I mean a handful of popular Euro girls travel to the US from time to time, I don't see why they couldn't swing by GirlsWay. It wouldn't be that difficult either to put together some basic stories for them. ^&^^While I am a huge fan of European performers. I see two major problems for why you probably won't see many of them work in the US and also why I don't want them to. The first reason is that there are already too many performers in the US for the jobs available that it makes no sense to want to hire European performers. The reason is that the vast majority of European performers cannot speak English and therefore it would be impossible for them to actually have any kind of dialogue in a scenario driven scene and because they probably don't understand English all that well then anyone wanting to work with these women would need a translator to interact with them.
^Welp, a good performer is a good performer, so I wouldn't mind having having a handful of good Euro performers doing scenes compared to giving them to mediocre American performers. And there are examples of being able to use Euro Performers in G/G scenes by having them talk very little, and having the American performer being the one in control of the scene and doing the bulk of talking. One example is Veronica Vain with Anny Aurora for Twistys in Perfect Host Twistys also did a similar thing when they paired up Ariel Piper Fawn with Emily Addison and Taylor Vixen. I am not hoping for Euro Performers to invade GirlsWay and become GOTM's with lead roles in big productions, just a few hot scenes with light story lines with some of Girlsway's finest. Which is why I think a Euro Girl Vignette Series would be perfect way to do it.
Not to mention that the vast majority of top g/g performers in Europe (Tracy Lindsay, Tiffany Doll, Amirah Adara, Alexa Tomas, Alexis Crystal, and Mischa Cross just to name a few) are very competent with their English and are in all honesty better actresses than some of the girls that have been in features. It's kind of a myth at this point to say that Euro models don't have what it takes to be in scenes with some sort of translator. You might not be able to do something incredibly complex, but when there's scenes like Lana's recent ones where there is barely any dialogue at all, it's a bit silly to say a Euro girl couldn't do well on GW.
Well, until the Euro Invasion, in the meantime Girlsway is revisiting the lactating theme in Breastfeeding The Babysitter with Abella Danger and the debut of Aali Kali, whose special talent may have her come back pretty soon.

^I don't know his specific gripe, but the camera work in Nicole Aniston's scene with Maddy O'Reilly was pretty shoddy. They completely botched a couple angles where Nicole rims Maddy. You couldn't even see her face/profile very well.

^ I haven't seen that scene. Who was listed as the director? I think the director of the scene needs to make sure the cameraman(woman) gets the shots that the director wants.
Be wary of those with few posts who only have negative things to say. They don't tend to last long.

^See for me 15 minutes of talking is not remotely an issue if what is happening between the various players is creating a fantasy that will conclude with those players having sex together because if it's done right then you are no longer looking at two porn performers having porn sex together but two identifiable characters who are attracted to each other having sex. The problem I tend to have with almost every scenario driven porn scene is that the people behind the camera and the people in front of it tend to do a piss poor job and that usually ruins the scenario and often the sex portion as well. Where you and I agree is in the way too many porn scenes are shot. It's bad enough that kissing in porn is almost as rare a blue moon but it's doubly annoying that, when you still have kissing in lesbian porn, the director decides to shoot the kissing portion from the angle right behind the head of one of the performers thereby negating the kissing. How about having a lot more kissing prior to the clothes coming off happening between the women in different locations in the house. Two people that are into each other would want to kiss a lot prior to actually getting naked and playing with each other.

That's a good point about the build up to the scene. If there's some sort of seduction or flirting, I'm cool with it, but I don't care about government agents stealing secret documents before getting caught and having to fuck their way out of the situation. ^Pretty sure they are, but they are being very quiet about whatever it is. They haven't even done their 1st Mini-series for 2018 yet. Anyways, Casey Calvert is back again quickly, and sticking to her specialty in Girls Try Anal. This time with Bree Daniels in Caught Behind The Bar. This is another one of those no dialogue scenes that GirlsWay has been experimenting with recently. They both look really good, but the real interesting thing is the 5 ladies who are witnessing the action. I only recognize Alyce Anderson and Amara Romani. Can anybody ID the rest?
