If you go to legalporno.com from within the U.S., it looks like they have taken down all of their pissing content. It is still there though, legalporno.com is just preventing U.S. IP addresses from accessing it. I've checked with friends overseas, and this is the case. Could this be a new way of appeasing the U.S. based credit card companies? Any thoughts?

Similarly to us European users who use proxies to get (for example) US-Shows on netflix, doesn’t this work the other way around with european proxies to access the entire LP catalog? Or is the catalog tailored to the user data and country? If that would be the case, the other way around us Europeans use specialized US credit cards for example for the ITunes store to get things only available to US-customers, so perhaps an European credit card for that purpose would help?

Alexis Crystal scene seems to escape the usual LP predefined pattern. Alexis is beautiful and sexy. Excellent summary. I don't care much for LP because its so dry, wooden and lifeless. the performers do not seem to be enjoying themselves, hardly any passion. its mostly circus acts. everything is made as bland and basic as possible.

Wow. I thought it was just me. Astonishing how the sight of often beautiful young women doing some unimaginably nasty things could be such a comprehensive turn off - but LP have achieved this feat. So credit to them. What disturbs me most is the comotose passivity of the girls featured, their furtive fearful glances at the camera man, and their complete lack of anything remotely resembling pleasure, or even interest in what they are doing, or in some cases, pretending to do. Their quaintly named "customer care service", however, is revolutionary: they've abandoned all attempts to conceal their utter contempt for the jerks/punters buying their films. That is, at least, refreshingly honest. But - bottom line - it clearly sells.
I also agree with a few of those points. I don't like the mechanical and formulaic approach to a lot of their scenes, but this is specifically the Gonzo studio, of which I also hate the white room they use. I must say I'm a big fan of Giorgio Grandi's work though, and have been for many years. I don't particularly go in for all this TAP nonsense, it's a gimmick to me and does nothing but detract from my enjoyment of a scene, but his camera work and lighting, the way he captures the women and presents them, this I really enjoy. Some of their models are absolutely outstanding aswell, quite a few of my favourite European women frequent there.I'm not a member, so I can only provide an example from my partner who is. They had some sort of server upgrade last week, this process caused a few problems on their end and as a result she lost quite a few tickets on her account, a large number of them had disappeared, she wasn't the only one this happened to either. After putting in a ticket with their support, she was apologised to shortly after, and within a couple of days her account had been completely restored, as had everyone elses. Based on that I would be inclined to disagree with your opinion on the quality of their customer care, and I'm only replying to you because you called my girlfriend a jerk [:P)]

Yeah, speak as you find. No problems with that. I could cite numerous examples to the contrary, but ... "Jerk" was not intended as an insult, but rather to show how LP view their customers.

I am one of the jerks who spends money with LP each and every month for quite some time now. Do they really not care about customers? They are on a run these last few months of producing their best content ever. (which means my spending with them is getting close to a 100 bucks a month... lol)....... giving their audience what they want for the most part... and all at a very reasonable cost To me, they do care about the customers. If you have a billing issue that didn't get resolved to your satisfaction, I can get you being pissed. However, I don't think that means they don't give a shit or we are all jerks for sending them money. If I get triple billed and need 6 months to get a refund, maybe I will understand your point more. Not sure I understand this approach, if they are screwing over others it is only a matter of time til they screw you over but even if they don't it isn't a good sign. What exactly were the issues with customer service you encountered PlanZ?

Are they actually "screwing people over" or is this just someone who is furious over 20 bucks on his credit card and investing hours fretting over it? This is the porn industry and there should not be an expectation that you are dealing with the most upstanding and ethical businesses in the world. Sometimes you just have to roll with it, you know? Their business is to produce porn we want; not be customer service agents of the year. I am just making a random example..... I spend almost a 100 bucks a month with them and never had an issue, and they are on a roll giving me content I want. SO, at least they have one happy customer. And I view my time as money as well.... so, spending 18 hours in a fruitless effort to get 20 bucks back from a porn producer is more costly to me than just writing off the 20 bucks and learning my lesson and doing business elsewhere next time. Have to respectfully and strongly disagree, if this was back in the days when the mob were involved and porn was semi-legal that would be one thing, but if porn wants to be considered mainstream and not be harassed politically or legally they need to meet the same standards of any other business.

PS - porn being harassed politically is not reduced if they provide quicker refunds or don't make billing mistakes. Their "customer service to buyers" is not why regulators like to rally the mobs of peasants against porn.

^ Of course not, but if they want political support when persecuted they can't treat their customers with contempt. Particularly today when a paying customer is the exception and not the rule. I use services like Adultempire and Hotmovies and bought DVDs and still purchase Blus today from VS and Distriprix for more than a decade without any issues and those companies all have good reputations. Why deal with someone with a poor reputation? Not only is it a risk to yourself but ethically dubious even ignoring the damage they do to others via piracy. Just because some porn is supposed to be 'nasty' is no excuse. Kink.com was formed by people who formerly worked for the ethically dubious InSex site. By contempt I mean the poor customer service not their content. I find most of their scenes boring not offensive per se. Wish I could see curvy Proxy Paige in more one-on-one scenes. It would be good to hear specifics from PlanZ.

It's a great site except the payment process is poor. You need to buy tickets for individual scenes instead of the monthly all-access model that many sites use. Also, piss play and water sports scenes are restricted for US customers. Otherwise, top notch site.

The ticket system is a legitimate gripe. It is not for everyone's liking and is unique. I like it (or did when I was buying 3 - 5 scenes a month, now that the content is getting to amazing levels my LP bill has got pretty high). I can see it is something that would annoy people if you plan on watching more than 10 scenes in a month. Considering they put out something like 60 in a month, that can leave people having to pass on scenes they might normally want. For what they are putting out, I would certainly support keeping the current ticket system but make a 39.95 plan for unlimited scenes every month for people who are watching a lot more.

yeah, I was always fine with tickets because I would spend 30 bucks a month or something and see a few scenes. The change is the last few months the quality (at least for what I want to see) has been going up and getting more frequent. There are less scenes I am willing to skip. So, hell, I spent a 100 bucks in April and likely will end up that way in May. So I certainly would support a flat monthly rate! Of course this has meant a bit less sleep because I am not cutting out my busy social and business time , just to watch more porn, so it has to come out of somewhere :)

I thought that porn was legal now under the law.
