She built demand and there's a built-in audience of people not otherwise up on porn girls who will be watching for her first release. We have a handful of lingerie shots, a couple of ass pics, and a half a nipple. Hell, I wanted to see more of her and I knew we were getting played. I say good for her no matter what kind of deal she got. Even without the money, she got a bigger jumpstart into the biz than most other girls have had, and absent all else mentioned, she got to fuck Manuel out of the deal. If you listen to most of the girls that have done scenes with him, the dude is probably the best fuck on the planet. The way most of the porn actresses talk about him, it wouldn't surprise me if there aren't women that would do a scene just to hook up with the guy. I don't have reason to believe or not believe the six figure story, apart from the sad, sad, knowledge that 100k is a good amount of money, but in the big picture, not that much. Click to expand Let me clear up any implications about my statement. The unique thing about her entrance into porn, from my perspective, isn't the job she had before porn. Pornstars have come from a range of varying backgrounds and education levels, and really it doesn't come as any surprise to me when anyone switches fields drastically. What is unique about her entrance into porn was the amount of press and interest she was able to generate before filming her first scene, and leveraging that into increasing her market value before we saw more than half a nipple. The overwhelming majority of porn performers do not start out with a deal like hers, and definitely not with this much fanfare. She has instant recognition coming into the business, and a fanbase already wanting to see her. It's irrelevant to me whether she was an intern, a broker, a bum, or whatever before this, it's that she created enormous buzz for herself as a performer before actually becoming a performer. No black casting couch. No awkward early scenes. She's definitely not getting a standard first scene rate. [Link]
