Yep.Yep. I will say that AHL is good a lot of the time, but ultimately yep. VivT is the only one really trying to be a premium product with every release. I disagree. I don't need a self-insert. That's what cartoon porn like Brazzers is for. If it's a really thought-out story where a world needs to be realized, sure, but just to have a guy around just to be in front of the camera is kind of annoying. And Sweet Sally Mae was an actual story, Isiah Maxwell was important to the plot and the story. I just get into watching more lesbian porn films because the lesbian porn I would jack to was stuff like abbywinters or girlsoutwest and some solo stuff. Nothing hardcore or gonzo. Then I saw films like Teenage Lesbian, True Lesbian series, The Producer, and Path to Forgiveness. All with excellent stories with great acting. I actual thing you see more storytelling and plot in lesbian porn films than in "so-called" straight male porn. I also hate weak stories too and it kills if you have it in lesbian porn, I'll get bored real quick and turn it off.

I didn't say anything about them not liking it; I was saying the main concern should be getting them in the headspace to where they can enjoy sex and get off. Sometimes the "scripts", if we can even call them that 99% of the time, take away from that. I've seen performers talking about loving lines who can't act as well lmao.
Ultimately, the only acting I put any real stock in, is "can she pretend that she likes this other woman eating her out and pretend that she likes doing the same?" If the answer is no, I would prefer her to go do the content she likes.
Besides that, any good acting is incidental to me and while it can be entertaining, the value of the scene for me is in their ability to have a good time having sex with another woman on camera OR the ability to appear to be having a good time. That's what matters.
Take random repetitious lesbian trope for example: Is she a nun struggling against what she was taught vs what she feels?
That's an interesting backstory and all but I'm absolutely not going to care about that if I get to the sex part of the scene and she's just fake moaning, yelling, and dodging vagina. Conversely, if she can't deliver lines worth a damn but her partner visibly sent her pelvic muscles into a orgasmic spasm by the end of the footage, job well done on both their parts. And if the acting is good on top of the performers having good sex, then that's awesome and I'll be able to recognize both aspects of the scene. But if the sex is trash I don't care about anything else going on in the scene at all.

If there's good sex and the acting sucks, I'll just skip to the sex. If the story is weak and the acting is bad but the sex is good. Then that's a one-time watch and skip to the sex. Bad stories just bore me and are not worth a rewatch
I find it odd that people skip the storylines just to watch the sex. Unless the sex has nothing to do with the storyline, how can you know whats going on during the sex if you dont understand the storyline?
I love to watch storylines bc even if the sex isnt great as a stand alone, the storyline can make the sex seem so much better. For example, I go back to my favorite scene which is "The Producer II" for AHL with Whitney Wright and Cadence Lux. They had sex in a bathroom. Typically Im not really into bathroom sex scenes but what made this scene so hot was the storyline. Yes the performers too bc I love Whitney and Cadence. The storyline though had everything from humor, to drama/suspense, to like deep raw emotions. So I was highly invested and then when they started kissing and had sex in the bathroom it made the sex scene itself really good to me.
