Modern porn in general is pretty good at using tags and other methods to separate out different types of content. In lesbian content, men are almost never present. In fact, in these videos the women are generally portrayed (in dialogue) as lesbians, not even bisexuals, if their sexual identity is discussed. And I don't even know where to start with the notion that they don't look at each other.
For these lesbians and bisexual women, they have already made up their minds about not liking lesbian porn, so they just go out and look for a few clips on pornhub until they find something that they they can exclaim their disgust over (if they bother to do any research at all). And they certainly look at each other, including smiling, talking, and laughing with each other.

Second to last entry of my all black lesbian scene reviews. This is another "historical" one that features Skin Diamond, this time with the little-celebrated Sincerre LeMore (that's how her name is spelt in the film) which has just 19 scenes under her name in IAFD. The film is Lesbian Hitchhiker 3, released in 2011, by Sweetheart Video, directed by Nica Noelle.
Sincerre gives off wildly conflicting signals. On one hand: she has very large breasts (artificial, and not good ones ones at that) and pink nails, so quite "feminine." On the other hand, with her shaved head and swaggering manner, she's very "butch." The "plot" certainly plays this latter aspect up, with her arrogantly advancing on a reluctant, ultra-femme Skin Diamond. Why didn't someone cast her in a lesbian prison film? I'll let your inner fantasy fill in all the blanks in the "definitely-illegal-if-it-were-real" scenarios. The kissing in this scene is absolutely first class.
The foreplay is mostly Sincerre kissing, necking, licking, touching Skin, including a moment when Skin tries to sit up, only to be brusquely pushed down. Oh my. Near the end she does get to kiss and suck on Sincerre's breasts a bit.
Sincerre then absolutely goes to town on Skin's pussy. This is one very, very thirsty woman. It's pretty spectacular.
