I just wanted to highlight 2 fantastic recently released Alison Rey scenes I watched. The first scene is with Freya Parker for All Her Luv, Alison's first AHL scene for over 4 years. Great acting from Alison in this one, her crying is very good. The sex is nicely slow and sensual and quite beautiful, which I love. I'm not quite sure where the story is going but I look forward to part 2.

I mean, I was only subbed to SSM for a month this year so I only really watched a handful of scenes. I thought the Serene Siren/Chloe Foster and Kenna James/Milana Ricci scenes were really good. That last scene could have been in my top 10 thinking about it, big fan of Milana (and Kenna obviously). Tbf, there are a lot of sites/scenes now so a top 10 is really hard to put together, and potentially very expensive.
Agreed. The best scene I have seen with Euro performers in a while. Betzz is great, and I would say that although she kept things simple, she didn't engage in the typical "hovering" that is so endemic in Euro G/G these days (she is right "in there" for long stretches of the scene).

The Victoria Voxxx & Anna Claire Clouds scene from All Her Luv is interesting. Looking back, I think that should be on my list of best of 2023 as well. I sometimes talk about what my expectation is going into a scene when I review it, and I think this is what is at work here: knowing who they are and how good they are, my expectation was very high going in, so that scene's ability to surprise me (on the up side) is very limited. As a result it has not made a very large impression, which is of course not fair to the women or the scene. Also, the story aspect (as you mentioned with respect to some AHL scenes) is really nice -- just a date between two women who like each other. No drama, no comedy, no taboo.
If I were to win the lottery and start a lesbian porn studio where money is no concern, this would be my (current) preferred way of making scenes: get two women who have worked well with each other, and have them do a trilogy.

Excogigirls.com does have toy use in pretty much every video, BUT it is pretty much the only studio site where you can see sexy, fun, sex-positive, somewhat candid interactions between the ladies. Most of the time, the shoots actually look like the women are at least having a positive experience working together, if nothing else. Sometimes they look like they'll be friends off set.
The energy in most of the major sites' content is negative.
A Japanese production crew, Vixen budget, with American/Euro women, making high quality content. Thats pretty much the dream at this point for me. Theres no telling how much of the same stuff a company like Adulttime uses, to keep cost low and make everything streamlined. Overproducing all these scenes, just for most people to only see the highlights anyway, is whats hurting all porn. If anything needs to be streamlined, its the ideas being presented, and what really makes an erotic scene.
I feel like ifeelmyself gets this, SinfulXXX in the beginning understood that creating a vibe is way more important in erotica, then trying to explain a scenario, as an excuse to have sex. Vivthomas/Sexart sorta gets it. But yes, slow down with so much acting in porn, let it be a niche like AllHerLuv, and just have sex cause you crave it.
