We gotta be able to disagree with one another. If JD called her a "fat C---" in the tweets, then it can cross into bullying. People need to really understand what bullying is, it is not disagreeing with someone's opinion or saying it is flawed. 2 - Mr Cyanide, that is bullying and a textbook case that could be worthy of charges in some jurisdictions 3 - we don't know if or what she was subject to in emails, texts, etc (which could have been much worse or in larger number that the tweets). Texts en masse saying "you will never work with us again, never work in this industry, etc" are bullying and could have been a factor here, we will never know the extent of the bullying 4 - Admit it or not, the gay side of the industry has had a history of shaky testing, a lot of HIV cases, openly HIV performers filmed with one another, and so forth. It is NOT homophobic for a performer to say she won't work with people who have worked in the gay side of the business. That to me is a business decision, a body decision, not saying "I don't like them gay people". I am a man who has dated trans women before, does that mean if I say to someone who works bareback Trans Porn in Brazil "I won't have sex with you", does that make me a bigot? I don't think so. her decision was twisted and destroyed by an agenda That being said, the gay side of the industry need to continue t to clean itself up as far as HIV and Hep C and just are bombarding people if they won't work with them. Do they have to pass tests, yah! Does that mean they should be treated as equals in the straight industry, YES!. But if one speciflc performer makes a decision for herself, whether it is paranoia or flawed or legitimate, she should be able to do that freely. Right? But you have LGBT peformers running along like sheep as if this is some crusade to destroy. In fact "Crossing over" is becoming less and less of a thing. Plenty of men in the business have done both and are cool, more and more prominent females are doing TS Work (our reigning POTY did one recently). So, I think they need to dial it down and keep educating , working together, and cleaning up their own back yard as far as testing . As for Lockwood... he spent years denying he liked men, trans, cock, etc.... very aggressively... now that he is out that does not make him some figure worthy of listening to when it comes to fighting homophobia. Furthermore she based her comments over the false assumption that Ames attacked the LGBTQ community, which wasn't she didn't even say anything against them, she only said she won't perform with crossover performers. If she was mistaken then all you had to do was inform her about the truth or reassure her about the health procedures she feared weren't taken enough . Instead she's been treated a an homophobic cunt (exact words used) and invited to "take Cyanide pills" again exact words which is a thing you would NEVER SAY to someone who has attempted suicide before , and even if you don't , you shouldn't for any reason align yourself with someone who did because that would strenghten his position and statement and would encourage him to continue just because he has numbers backing him. and if you didn't know what was said to her, it's all the more worse , that means you didn't actually read her twitter profile , you don't even know what was said and yet you dare judge knowing nothing? Your words and actions have consequences, even on the internet if that should surprise him. He had a history of being very vile against fellow performers, so it's not like you can give him the benefit of the doubt. Regarding the article from mammamia: One of the best so far on the issue, because it highlights how alone August was in her fight against the cyber bullying but also the depression. The messed up quotes from Katrina Jade etc. are clearly bad research though. I can't remember who they responded to but many of the vile tweets against August got deleted after the news of her suicide got public, so now they stand isolated (my guess).
