I don't see interracial themed videos inherently degrading or inherently racist, or even inherently promoting racism. I bought a black iPhone over a white one, wear black Chuck Taylors instead of white, the case for my computers are all black, not white. How well porn does (or doesn't) depicts that other side is a good bit outside of the scope of this thread. Either way, there is a difference between a white man and a black man, just as there's a difference between a German man and a Russian man, and a difference between a left handed man and a right handed man. The lefty and righty might not make much difference on camera, but the color of a person's skin is visual and shows on film. I don't buy into 'celebrate our heritage' thing because I can't think of a single culture that has nothing to apologize for, but to suggest viewers should be color blind does a disservice to the potential artistic impact of using color contrast. (Yeah, I know, it's porn, and we're not supposed to have standards; I'd like to think one day we will though.) In observing my girl's career, doing interracial and anal from day one meant getting more work, from day one. Girls who don't do IR, aren't getting any work doing IR. In response to the question of, What is black? In the porn world, "black" means too dark-skinned to "pass" for anything else. In other words, you can be a male performer of color and still fuck non-IR white girls on camera, as long as you're light enough to not be considered exclusively "black." For example, Ramon has fucked plenty of non-IR white girls (which also throws out the excuse that they don't do black guys because of size). However, many of those girls will say that Ramon doesn't count as IR because he's "not black," despite the fact that Ramon isn't any lighter than probably most black people in America. In the real world, this type of reasoning doesn't make any sense. But in the porn world, it makes perfect sense. This might also prove that non-IR white girls don't have anything against fucking black guys. They just don't fuck guys who the industry considers "black." For example, let's say that the industry decides that fucking Shane Diesel doesn't count as IR, but fucking Lex Steele does, because Shane is lighter than Lex. Non-IR girls would then have absolutely no problems lining up to do a scene with Shane, but would still not do one with Lex. Although part of it is about race, it seems to be more about the crazy politics of the porn industry.

The fact is, that unless a person is first or 2nd generation, removed from Africa there is no such thing as "pure" black in this country. Those slave masters had a good thing going. We are after all a melting pot. Also as I have said before, there is a greater genetic difference between short people and tall people, then there is between "white" people and any other "race" you can name.

I'm white and I don't buy porn from performers that don't do IR. I'm in the majority. The biggest stars today are the ones that do IR. I've always hated that ppl remain influenced by their family when it comes to dating. My friend is like that. She could meet the man of her dreams walking down the street but won't give him the time of day because of his skin color. Why?? All cause her family. Telling her stuff like, "You better not bring a black guy home!" or threatening to disown her if she ever did. All this as a kid, which carries over to adult hood. My ex GF also was like this.
