Nothing new, and it doesn't apply to a narrow argument, but east Asian males are far more excluded in porn. The exclusing is total, and systemic, unlike that against black males. Cold comfort I suppose. Edit: on the other hand, I don't see the Japanese industry rushing to employ non-Japanese men, though they do import non-Japanese females if what I read recently here is true. And that is part of the problem... You don't see it... Hence that little part about denial that I added in there. It doesn't matter that they're trying to be inclusive or exclusive. They are still making skin color the focal point of their argument. Sadly, when someone makes a racist statement these days, most peoples' knee-jerk reaction is to respond with more racism. It may be racism founded in really good intentions, and might be aimed at the loftiest of goals, but as long as you are suggesting that something be done or not be done based on the color of someone's skin color you are being a racist. That's what a racist is, and I'm sorry if you don't see it. Look past the skin color and treat people like people.
Sorry I'm not 100% on what you're trying to say here. What I was saying is that if both the white guy and the black guy are tested for Mar 1, and are HIV-neg, then it doesn't matter what the national statistics are in terms of that day, because both men don't have HIV. In other words, whether blacks are twice as likely or 8 times as likely or even less likely than whites to have HIV according to statistics, the fact is that neither of these dudes have it on Mar 1. Unless we're considering the possibility that someone with HIV tests negative. That's another can of worms, and one which, to my knowledge, AIM has addressed with the more advanced testing; but I'll confess to not being an expert on their newer testing methods/procedures. Ok so back to both men not having HIV on March 1. Let's assume for the moment that the tests were correct. Now we have to look beyond Mar 1. Here's where the racial aspects may or may not come into play, when we consider what activities both men do between Mar 1 and Apr 1. And I think there are some pretty strong arguments for saying that there is a significant difference between comparing your average black porn dude to your average white porn dude, and comparing your average black man to your average white man. I cited a couple of examples. The first was STD-awareness/education, of which both men would have received the same education from AIM. So they're now both aware of STDs and possibilities of transmission, etc. to the same degree (of course this is assuming that AIM actually does educate people significantly about STD transmission, which by most accounts, it does a pretty good job of doing). Then, we need to consider who these men sleeping with off-camera. As I mentioned in my earlier post, many of them are in the same dating pool, as a lot of porn stars do date each other (black, white or otherwise). So it's pretty tough to assess who has the higher risk here. Are there performers who date (or sleep with people) outside the industry? Sure. Are they more or less likely to sleep with people of their own race? Honestly I can't say. I've learned that many of the rules that apply to the population in general when it comes to sexual habits do not apply to porn stars. But even if they are sleeping with people off camera that are more often in their own race, there is then a high likelihood that they then jump back into the porn dating pool, so if a person acquires HIV outside the industry dating pool, they're probably going to bring it back inside anyway. This is assuming that people are having unprotected sex outside the industry, which they are probably doing to a much smaller degree than the general population, since they are well-educated about the risks of STD-transmission from AIM, as mentioned above. Then, we need to consider aspects of poverty, lifestyle, etc. I could go on forever about this, but I said a bunch of this stuff in my earlier post so I'll stop there. No, of course not. Can you site studies that say they don't disappear? No. That kind of data simply doesn't exist. You have to look at the reasons why you would assume that they do or don't disappear, which is what I was doing above.I haven't suggested throwing out information about statistics and relying solely on information about an individual. Who does? I'm just responding to the idea that statistics about society in general determine trends within a specific group. Hell, I'm a mathematician. I certainly recognize the value of statistics. But I also know all too well how they are misused every single day.I'm concerned about the faulty logic going on in this thread (not only by yourself), as opposed to what's PC and what isn't.It is of course your prerogative who you choose to sleep with, and it's the same for anyone else (I take it this is the subtext of the sentence above). But here it seems you're making the assumption that these are your only two options. Obviously that's not the case. I guess I can be "PC" on some issues (since wanting black people to have an equal standing in society is apparently "PC" - and I'm not talking about porn here), but I'm also HIV-neg last I checked (and I do check on a regular basis). And I'm a black man! I've also lived the vast majority of my life either below or just slightly above the poverty line. And I've kissed boys. All that, and I've yet to contract a single STD. One could get the impression, by some of the arguments put forth at ADT in the past few days (not only by yourself but others as well), that this is so close to impossible that it's not even worth me getting tested. I should just assume that I have HIV and move forward from there. Shit, I must be fuckin' imaginary.
murdock I've addressed this statement with other posters before, but I'll take a crack at it again with you. NO definition, anywhere, considers recognizing skin colour, or even suggesting something be done on the basis of skin colour, to be racism. Racism has as its central component the acknowledgment that one race is inherently superior to another. I posted these in another post, but here are definitions or "racism" from a dictionary, an encyclopedia, and a government document. I should hope that it's clear that no one in this thread is suggesting that any one race is inherently superior to another. Further, even if you were to repeal your use of the word "racism" and replace it with "racial prejudice", "bigotry", "racial discrimination", etc. it still would not apply to this situation. What some of the posters are saying here* is that what they want to see is some undoing of current racist or bigoted practices. In order to undo a racist practice, you must by definition make choices based on race, because choices have already been made based on race, and in order to make that stop, it's not enough to simply stop making choices based on race. That would simply maintain the status quo, which is only in existence because of racist practices, making the status quo itself racist, or bigoted, or prejudiced (choose the appropriate word for whatever given situation you happen to be speaking about at the time). One has to go further, and actively pursue an undoing of the situation, which can only involve making decisions based on race. Understand, at no point does this involve assuming the inherent superiority of one race over another. It does not even involve the exclusion of one or more races. It simply involves including those of a particular race where they were not included before. Not because the people doing so hate, or are prejudiced against, the race that is represented in that situation, but because they do not hate the race that isn't represented in that situation, and as a result, recognize that they should be included as well. In the current context, talking about black guys doing - or not doing - white girls in porn, the only way for something to be considered "racist" or otherwise prejudiced against white people, would be if a poster said that a white guy couldn't fuck a particular girl (white, black or otherwise). Or that he should have some limitations on working with that girl, or girls in general. In other words, a desire to take some right away from the white guy that he already had, or even looking to limit his rights or privileges. But no one is saying anything of the sort here. So, please stop using the term "racist" for something that it doesn't mean.
*Truth be told, most of the posters in this thread on the one "side" of the argument, including myself, aren't saying much other than we wish people didn't give us bullshit excuses when they tell us why they don't do IR. As I said in an earlier post, I don't give a fuck if a girl never does IR, and I don't give a fuck if she never tells me why. But I do give a fuck if she goes out of her way to tell me why, and tells me something that clearly isn't true. Because I hate being lied to. About anything.
-john_qyoo_public I'm far from PC, but your logic isn't sound. It's true, blacks have a much higher rate of HIV infection relative to whites. If you're planning on sleeping with random people at a bar or at a university, that might be something you want to consider. But in the porn industry we are talking about individuals, not generic members of a group. I don't see any reason why a veteran in the industry such as Mr. Marcus, Lexington Steele, or Sean Michaels would more likely to be HIV positive than a random white performer. Simply being black doesn't make you more vulnerable to acquiring HIV. That a perfomer has a track record in the industry of testing clean hundreds of times over a extensive career speaks more about their relative safety than that performer's skin color or background. In addition, there are female performers (and likely some male performers) escorting with untested civilians, male performers working in gay and bisexual films while working in the mainstream, male and female performers who do IR working regularly with those who don't: I just don't see a compelling argument why black performers are necessarily more high-risk than white performers. Perhaps if we are talking unknowns in the business, but not veteran performers. If you want to be safe, use protection and work with people you know and trust.

It's true that Asian male performers are rare in US porn, but I believe this is simply a practical matter of talent availability and market desire. If there WAS Asian talent who could perform, I can guarantee you they would get to work with any actress who excluded black men. No porn actress comes out and says, "I won't do Asians". But then you've got some who will just flat out say "I won't do black guys", and be proud about it. And indeed, many starlets such as Alexis Texas and Sunny Lane have flown to Japan to work with Asian males while refusing to do even the most respected black talent here in the states. (note: Tori Lane did this too in the phase of her career where she was NOT doing IR).

The dwarf/midget population in porn is so small as to be non-existent, and has nothing to do with discrimination. A porn star by the name of Mike Ranger (70s) actually had a midget girlfriend that he made a few sex loops with, and these caused a huge outrage back in the day because he dressed her once like a child and did live shows! I saw one of these shows in Times Square , but it was shut down after about 3 days and never even made the newspapers. After that the midget mini-craze went somewhat dormant, but it never had anything to do with discrimination, but was seen as abusive. There was also a dancer/porn star named Lee Carol who had a midget boyfriend and made a film with him around 1985. She dressed him as a cowboy and roped and tied him. This film was circulating around Times Square for about a month and suddenly diaappeared. Evidently, bestiality, rape, and BDSM are thought of much more kindly than midgets!

Ida, there is loads of midget porn being made today, it's just a niche. Vanessa Del Rio and Annie Sprinkle did scenes with midgets with no problems back in the 70s but maybe it was the little girl scenario that you mention that caused the problems, after all Max is doing 4 years for the same shit. Edited by - BlackSix on 2/28/2009 10:05:40 PM
I think this is very true. People definitely discriminate when it comes to sex. I know I do, but I don't do it with regards to skin color or ethnicity. But what I have a problem with is when people are discriminatory, but try to pass it off as if they are not. If you don't want to fuck Asian people, or blacks, or whoever, then be man (or woman) enough to own up to the fact that you are discriminatory and stop trying to use a bunch of bullshit excuses as to why you don't fuck a certain type of people. In reference to the 'Deputy' - I met this fine lady by the name of Heather Hunter. Arguably the Queen of IR entertainment. On another note; read previously in a thread here that there should be some sort of IR website that lists all female (non-black) pornstars specifically which movies and/or IR scenes they have and when. (and when, just in case it matters as far as their career) I can help come up with this shtf all day or until I leave for work. Edited by - Hamburger_1973 on 3/2/2009 12:23:29 PM
I've been studying porn trends for the past 30yrs or so and I like to think I've acquired a sense of it all. Seen some stars such as Tianna Lynn do IR early on in their career and go on to make it big. I realize that in other instances the IR is done at a later point in her career, I suppose, as to make more fo that particular scene. Wait now, think about it for a minute (and I hope I'm not repeating someone else here) how many times have you scene a boxcover or preview with "in her first IR" or "in her first anal with Lex". I make a case that there is a chance later in their careers when the ladies may decide that her "IR" fans will buy more of their newer stuff if their not doing the same thing or the same ole white on white. Me personally, I prefer a mixture of whatever every so often, as long as it falls within my lil homophobic bubble. Sorry fellas, it's ladies only in my pants. Enuff rambling, back to the posting. Does anyone wanna add to or correct me on any of this? And please don't correct my spelling b'cause I meant to spell it like that and you already knew what I meant.

I don't think doing it hurts their careers but it is one less bargaining chip they have for later in their careers after they've done about 500 scenes in their first year or two and their newness novelty has worn out. Other than first IR and first anal scenes what first scenes can they hype up? I'm sorry fetish fans but there will not be a line around the block waiting for Sunny Lane's first toe licking or armpit fucking scenes.
I honestly don't see it as that great of a bargaining chip. If I'm running the production, I'm not going to hire a "has been" just because it would be her 1st anal, IR, or whatever else. Sure, I could use that "1st" as an advertising ploy to get a few more sales... but I could get just as many sales by using a marquee girl to do the same scene.
Yeah but most of them are female midgets. I want to see more male midgets. I'm thinking maybe I have a little giantess fetish because I love the contrast like seeing tall girls with smaller men.
You misunderstood me. Probably you haven't read my earlier posts in this thread. I'm all for free choice. And I'm totally against calling a girl racist because of her choice not to do black males. The point of my latest post was that I had an image of the USA in my mind where the colour of the skin was irrelevant. Obviously I was totally off base.
Borrowed from another forum: Posted by kyomu0 , 12/11/2008 4:59:38 AM Sex does not have different rules because sex is simply a physical activity, don't try to give some kind of mythical metaphysical value that massage therapy, arm-wrestling, or table tennis does not. A sexworker like any worker can choose not to do work for any reason she/he feels like. However, if that reason for not working is discrimination against a customer ONLY because of that customer's racial constitution, then the worker is a RACIST. There is no other way to describe it or label it. It's plain fucking racism and to deny it or make excuses for it is to condone it. And to condone it is to enable it. If the sexworker won't do the work, that makes her/him a bad WORKER in my view. It also makes her/him a less than ideal human being. Poster isn't talking about sexworkers who are in porn but it fits. Absolutely nothing wrong with being sexually racist. I would never have sex with a Cambodian woman, they have no appeal to me. So what.
Not every town needs its own CSI show. I think the NY CSI has proven that to everyone's satisfaction. So not every poon needs black prong. Is the point of this obsession to leave nothing for whitey? No secret suburbs where whitey can still live in seclusion? No vaginas just for the pale man? No, residents of all housing communities must be universally broken down by ethnic percentages. And like jury duty, all women must take a turn on the black dong, or else it's a bitter betrayal of the civil rights movement. Because if even one cutie escapes and doesn't get stretched out real good down there, she might not realize that slavery is over? It's only the act of taking black dick that lets her know the South lost the war? Come on already. People just want what they want and throw tantrums if they don't get it. It's not so much racism on her side as it is a tantrum on our side of this issue. If 8 years old, someone would tell such tantrum throwers to go in the corner for a timeout. But since they're adults, they go on the internet and complain. If people find themselves caring deeply about how a particular woman hasn't done IR, these people need to put down their mouse and go donate some time at the local soup kitchen. Find something to care about that's deserving of your attention.

Exactly. They whine only because they want IR to jerk off to. Classic mopes.
3's company it seems. I've noticed you've had a hard on for me on several threads now. You always finish quickly though. Very short, terse contributions oozing with bile. The kind of bitterness that completely belies the avatar quote you use. Maybe utopians are just like that, though, the way the Berkeley scene is very cruel and snappish underneath the surface level of their peace and love crap. Anyway, your pattern is established, in case that's what you were trying to communicate to me: you'll occasionally come on and play whack-a-mole after I post. I did the same just before you so I'm not claiming the high road here I guess. Wack-a-mole comes naturally on this site as it is just another kind of whacking. Have you considered chess? Guaranteed hot interracial action every time in that game. And in most cases, it gives the penis a break. A timeout. Until you learn to combine your love of porn and chess, that is. Then, look out! http://www.endgameclothing.com/pin-up.html Edited by - Monkey Power on 3/6/2009 3:27:23 PM
No that's not the issue. You can be as racist as you want in your own head. The issue arises when you are racist in the common spaces where everyone is invited to compete.

Just checked out the threads you've posted in recently and I don't think I've posted in a single one of them. You are officially paranoid, and you've misunderstood the irony of my avatar quote too. Congrats.
I don't think Carmella Bing is doing interracial. Maybe she has in the past, I can't remember. I just spent the better part o f the afternoon today indulging in my guilty pleasure of surfing porn on the web. I watched Carmella, Jenna Haze, Annette Schwarz & Eva Angelina specifically. Wow I got sore nuts if you know what I mean! But anyhow, I've grown to love Carmella , she's gorgeous with big fuckable tits. I haven't seen her do any bros, hispanics(does Marco count? I guess he does, and certainly no asians. But I love this chick maybe she'll do more Ir in the future. All in all if the chick is pretty and turns you on then it doesn't matter who she does. It's all fantasy anyway.
apology accepted, and re: IR, they all make personal choices about what they'll do on camera and who they'll do it with. We can play our part as zealous fans and try to badger them into doing more quicker, but it should always remain the option of the performer or else performers will be fewer and less happy if all kinds of things are required of them...or else! (Like the Vivid contracts that were discussed elsewhere, in which they had to agree to this and that sex act a certain # of times, including IR, including etc. At least that was up front and they knew what they were getting into, but still, it's a removal of freedoms of choice, and I wouldn't want an industry that leaves no place for people unless they consent to an ever-growing list of fan demands, you know?)
I've noticed that Devon has been on some adult pay-sites( brazzers, pink visual, karupsow ) now instead of with any company. Does anyone think she will do IR now?
IT DONT MATTER WHAT ANYONE THINKS, DOES IT?? So go ahead and ask her yourself so you hear it from the horses mouth!! And stop postin these dumb speculative shit, you idiot! Edited by - Thunderbird on 3/10/2009 10:52:57 PM
^ Dude, calm down! Look at the guy's post history; he's just a big-time Devon fan who's curious if she'll do some IR now. He's no IR-troll or whatever, give him a break.
Yo Kill, at least he coulda posted in the star section or sumthin. The mere fact that Devon has been in the industry for 10 years now and never done IR should tell anyone with half an IQ she aint interested. Why drool and ridicule yourself over her? One more thing Kill. From here on can you please move any and all new threads regarding IR under one thread preferably Royal Tee's 'The Definitive IR Thread' as soon as they are created so we dont have 3 or 4 IR threads runnin at the same time? It looks crazy and gives all IR porn consumers a bad impression as a bunch of whinging wankers. Should make your work easier I would think. Cheers.

^^Devon is well past her prime, you'd have to be a relentless scavenger to hold out for her to do IR now. Besides, who needs devon when we got hot new girls like Tori Black doin IR from the outset? I know I dont. Before some member of the 'better late than never' mob come out to to lynch me, lemme just say, have some dignity in yourself and your race. Quit droolin over IR dodgers or you will drown in your own drool one day!! Edited by - Thunderbird on 3/11/2009 9:44:42 AM
Damn take it easy. Its true. I'm a huge Devon fan. She's the only adult star I know about or even care about. All of you know about every performer out there and I don't. And I really don't care about the others. You all can be the experts on them and watch them. I was just curious cause she's not a contract performer anymore from what it seems or what ever you wanna call them. Some think shes washed up. fine. I think she's still beautiful. And when shes done with porn. well, that would be sad for me. Its gonna happen. The others don't appeal to me at all. Unfortunatly she does not have her own site. There seems to be no way of knowing what she's been doing or has done. Sense shes on pay sites and I'm looking, I thought I would ask about her doing ir so I can maybe look at those sites. So I'm sorry if I drive anyone a little nuts when it comes to her. Shes my one and only favorite.. take care
OK Magic, I didn't know the depth of your unhealthy obsession with Devon but heres afew links to where you might find her and quiz her about the prospects of her doin IR. Whatever you do, please dont come back here askin when she's doin IR coz no one here knows the answer. GOOD LUCK!! http://www.deardevon.com/index.php http://www.myspace.com/therealdevon http://www.myspace.com/officialdevonxxx
TUP: Ginger Lynn did IR porn as early as 1984. She did a great scene with Tony El-Ay c.1984.

The problem here is that some people are confusing racism with tribalism. Two different things and very common error in our society. The vast majority of whites marry whites. The vast majority of blacks marry blacks. The vast majority of asians marry asians. That does not mean the vast majority of people are racists. It means the vast majority of people are tribalistic. Having a strong identity to ones own race does not make a racist. Tribalism is emotional evolutionary baggage. I'm sure it was a good thing 2 million years ago but IMO we no longer need it for our survival and I believe it does more harm than good.

Iafd is good but they nowhere near perfect. They are the IMDb of porn. For instance what if IAFD didn't list the movie/or movies. Then people would say we're wrong because Iafd didn't list the movie. Well Iafd is not perfect. Whether Iafd or Afdb or whatever says it's not, I saw the flick at the time 1985 when it first hit Beta & VHS. Ginger & Lisa DeLeeuw were in that flick if Im not mistaken. It came out in the mid 80s during the very first wave of all black & IR porn.
LMFAO! The U.S has never been like that. While we have gotten better then what we were in the 60s etc, Racial Tension, Discrimination, Segregation....it all still exists and in some areas blatantly out in the open. Edited by - Dr. Nasty on 3/22/2009 8:40:33 PM
