What annoys me is watching and listening to a male performer/director try to talk smoothly and suavely and coo and overuse the word "sweety" as if he's showing his real sensitive side or some such shit.
1. I like women with personality. Individuality. It really turns me on to see little details that express a woman's personality and knowing that she added that little detail herself. Rather than seeing outfits than were obviously chosen by other people and/or directors. 2. A little bit of sassy would be nice. You know? There was a time when it was nice for a change to see women follow orders and just bend over and spread when the director tells them to. After seeing that a billion times, it gets old. Occasionally, I'll see a porn where it actually seems like the girl makes the guy work at it and it doesn't seem too staged, scripted or forced. These girls are obviously willing so why not let them shine a bit with their own personalities? Do we always need to hear "Yes sir!"? In reality, things don't go that way at all even when we do get laid. It's kind of a game we play. Flirtation. Teasing. Temptation. We want to feel like we're getting what we want but we want to see something of the real person. I mean, you see this stuff and you know right away you're watching the girl just going through the motions. It couldn't even accidentally be exciting for her unless she gets off on nothing more than mechanical stimulation. 3. I'd rather see women wearing a nice pair of shorts than a thong, stockings and so forth. "Sexy" clothes aren't sexy anymore (IMHO) because they're just so played out. You know? It's all just gotten so tired. A porn scene starts and you know exactly what she's going to be wearing. You can probably even guess what color it'll be. Different can definitely be good here. 4. Seemingly random and yet purposeful shots. Contradiction? Maybe, but you see it all the time on TV and it really helps things flow and not get so boring. For instance, maybe the girl is being interviewed and she's talking and as she does, the shot changes to show a close shot of that nervous little thing she's doing with her hand. Then it maybe switches to a wide shot that shows her sitting on the couch. Then maybe it switches to a closeup of her face in profile as she continues. I've seen this done well a few times during the tease and during interviews but they always seem to forget how to do it when the sex starts. It seems most directors just point the camera and pretty much stay there. Or if they make any effort at all to change angles and break the monotony, you have to watch them clumsily walk around from one place to another. Just a few things. ^I also have seen too many porn clothes. Fishnets, thongs, stockings, etc. Especially in "lingerie" videos, stockings and various bits are worn, instead of one nice garment. Since thongs are known to cause yeast infections, I don't see why any STD-conscious person would wear them.
Good point, I guess but I'm thinking completely in terms of aesthetics. I completely agree...I don't mind thongs when they don't look forced and obvious...I love a girl with a nice ass wearing a thong under sweats or tight jeans...but like u I also dig the white cotton panties lol...and like most of the other posters I absolutely hate when porn actors and/or the director won't shut the hell up...I'm not paying to hear their thoughts on world issues or the girl their fucking...and for the love of God, enough with this creampie nonsense...

Directors that are too lazy to find a quiet location to shoot. Case in point, watched a Lexi Belle/Faye Reagan 3-way. VOD prices. I expect them to be much lower, since they're not physical products to be manufactured. I chose a random title at empire and got a result of $20 for Download to Own and new DVD, and $14 for a used DVD. With shipping, used is still cheaper than Download. The universal price for a one-week download rental is $10, and AEBN has two-day rentals for $8, which is still fucking insane when DVD rentals are $2-3. I don't see how VOD companies stay in business.

One type of sloppy editing, or sloppy marketing, is both b/g and g/g on one disc. Those are different types of scenes. The demographics may overlap, but there are many customers who want one or the other, not both. I see this most on "amateur" dvds, so that may be a sign of amateurish care in their products. This will be less of an issue as downloads replace dvds, but the companies that do sloppy work on disc may do similar sloppiness online.
