So Mia Malkova said on social media that she is not doing B/G scenes anymore. Idk the reason as to why but count me in as someone who isnt bothered by her not doing B/G at all. So, I watched Teenage Lesbian again with my wife. She liked it but laughed at Gianna Dior's performance in it. I told her that's how she is and people give her awards. So, I Like to know how people here in this thread feel about her? Are there any Gianna scenes that are actually good? I know people who are into b/g scenes and gonzo, love her but I just skip all her scenes after buying Psychosexual and be very disappointed. Is she really that bad and why is she so popular?

She's not the only one I don't get, though. Thread in, thread out, post after post and in comment section after comment section you see it, unabashed adulation for such performers. In the Girlfriends Films thread there was a recent announcement about Erin Everheart being booked and it was met with approval, even from some of the diehards in this thread, saying "Great casting, she's a great performer". Erin is one of the worst in the business, with a Betty Boop-esque caricature of pleasure performing style. It's stunning to me the performers that get held up as being great. I see so many names listed and I look and simply do not get it, finding their performances to be just the same as 99% of all the others - rote, uninspired fakery; pornstar performative pleasure routines.
I struggle to find good lesbian lovemaking, it's so rare that it's to the point that I wonder if even the ones I thought were that were just performed to a level that made that impression when it was still just really that - a performance. Id tend to think that her B/G scenes are way better than her G/G scenes bc I do think she really enjoys them more than her G/G scenes. Not saying she dont love girls bc she has been on the record of saying she is totally into girls. Plus I can pick out certain scenes like the PureTaboo scene she did with Emily Willis that was shot by her best friend Whitney Wright for Lesbian Revenge. That scene I thought was both Gianna and Emily best G/G scene. Then I think of Gianna scenes with Whitney, Savannah Sixxx, and Jade Baker all are really good scenes. Not a coincidence that she is close to all of them. Then of course her scenes she did with Angela White which not only bc Angela brings the best out of anyone she shoots with but also bc again Gianna absolutely loves Angela and they have so much great chemistry together. Plus in her GirlGirl scene, Angela was doing the things to Gianna they she loves. She was being a bit rough with her and thats what Gianna loves. And I totally get that Gianna isnt everyone cup of tea but she definitely deserves the awards she has gotten. I wanted her to win BNS so badly that year she won and I was so happy she did. Anyways, in regards to Gianna Dior, I think she had an ok scenes with Aaliyah Hadid in Interracical Girlfriends 3, with Cherie DeVille in Twisted Passions 27, and Elexis Monroe in Girls Kissing Girls 24.
On another note regarding authentic performances. Unfortunately some of these women's experience with Lesbian Sex is exclusively from being in front of the camera or putting on a show for men, so that will shape how they have sex with women going forward. So it is technically authentic. I mean I'm sorry, but you can't convince me any woman genuinely enjoys scissor tribbing.

There are a couple of reasons. She is physically attractive in that "almost a model" kind of way. Second reason, and this is ugly to say, but engaging with other porn fans over the past couple years, and knowing the kind of lack of respect porn performers get, I honestly believe a majority of the viewership prefer the women not enjoy what's happening on screen. That's why every story complaint is about consent not being questionable enough and why obviously faking performers like Darcie Dolce are big stars. It's why the fans eat up the obnoxious faking in GG. It's why fans like the performers to get cartoonish surgeries. I think the lack of enjoyment or pain for the performers is a featured part of the product for a not-small percentage of the viewership. Heck, I think there is a painful sex thread on the first or second page on this forum.
TLDR: She's hot and looks like she doesn't have a good time on screen and that's a positive for a significant portion of audience.

Because as I said many times Gianna's scenes are just her moaning badly and some body movements, it's literally the same in every scene. I guess I'm not the intended audience too because I find her boring. Actually, the % of women who watch porn is around 40%. 25% of Adulttime viewers being women is actually really high. I also, I'm not a fan of her's so, I'm also not the intended audience and I'm a man.
Mainstream lesbian porn is also attractive.aspirational or inspirational.to mainstream and often non-lesbian women
Also, a large "mainstream" and smaller "alternative" culture is human nature. Any sports fans in here? I thought it would be really fun to do a "GG Performer Draft". A few of us take turns picking a performer until we have like a top 30 maybe 40 of the current performers.
