Here however we are "protected" by two psychological barriers, so to speak -- first, Jia takes Tiffany against her will, but Jia herself is controlled by an alien being; second, it's between two women, and I think instinctively we (or at least I) just have a hard time believing women can harm other women like that. This reminds me of a film I heard about a long time ago (never watched it myself), called "She Stole My Voice" which is supposedly a documentary about lesbian rape. Browsing the review page on Amazon, it seems a large number of viewers are convinced this is nothing more than click-bait amateur porn.
Heavy stuff aside, let's dive into the ickiness. Or not. It's up to you.
Jia and Tiffany are playing video game, and Jia decides to go take a break. From the bathroom sink, the free-flowing water becomes a sticky goo, and we see a worm-thingie. It leaps onto Jia and crawls down into her shorts. The lighting, the special effects -- all of it is done really well.
The next part really sort of fascinates me. It could have been ridiculous, but I think it's done well enough that it doesn't feel this way. Jia's shorts get completely wet, and she begins to drool that viscous liquid too. Eventually she shakes her hair loose and her eyes go white. A bit of horror erotica -- pretty impressive. She returns to sit behind a distracted Tiffany and procees to masturbate furiously.

Tiffany acts absolutely disgusted, and suitably terrified as Jia begins to vomit up that worm thing (or an offspring of the original?), which crawls down Tiffany's shorts too. What follows is pretty short, but very hot and actually very normal (by porn standard) lesbian sex. It has repeated very deep and sexy kissing, lusty oral in multiple positions. A very nice thing about it is that they are supposed to be in a sexual frenzy, driven by those worms -- and that's exactly how they act.
Some more kissing and a bit of bad tribbing, and they fall asleep. When they wake up next day, everything weirdly just returns to normal? They don't even address the fact that they are both totally naked...
Anyway, for what it is, I actually enjoyed watching it. Morbid, but hot, and the sex is excellent, as can be expected between two of the best g/g performers in Europe. One thing is that I wish they could have pushed the psychological angle a bit -- for example, instead of just being casual friends, they could have made Jia having a crush on Tiffany, and have Tiffany rejected Jia. This way when the parasite takes over Jia and "makes" her take Tiffany, there's just a bit of uncertainty in her mind (and our mind) about how much of it is the parasite making her do it, and how much of it is her own selfish lust. And afterward she can feel guilty? And try to awkwardly apologize to Tiffany without actually admitting guilty? Oh well that will require a whole melodrama with a lot more script...

That's right. This is a trip down nostalgia lane about a movie that came out in 2001. There are several points of interest.
1. A young, blonde, voluptuous and gorgeous Tiffany Mynx. Reminds me of Skylar Snow, in some way. 2. A lot of really nice oral, fingering. 3. Shocking/hilarious amount of self-commentary about lesbian porn itself. Definitely thought provoking. 4. Pointless nostalgia, of course.
We start with a date between Tiffany and Monique Demoan. I really like how both are dressed sexily but not pornish-ly, very appropriate for their date. They even carry out some nice small talk, which reveals Tiffany is a columnist for a lesbian erotica magazine. As someone who loves to see dating scenarios (so terribly rare), this is a very nice treat. Anyway, Monique (looking lovely) boldly asks Tiffany if she's a top or bottom. One of the biggest problem of this movie is too much closeups. The closeups themselves are very sexy, but there is just too much of them. There should be more longer shots to balance things out. It shows how people within the porn industry certainly were aware of the criticism of way too much toy use during lesbian scenes, yet they still thought that was the right way to go. Why? Keep watching and find out. The movie itself seems to provide a very intriguing answer, one that hadn't occur to me.
Anyway, as an illustration of this too-rough, too-much-toy tendency, Tiffany shows a screener to Jewel, a movie that she has been provided to review as a columnist, titled "Lesbian Anal Rippers." Huh. I didn't know Lesbianx.com was already out in 2001?
This leads to the next sex scene, which is supposed to be a scene from this movie. I will not bother describing it in detail -- it's a threesome with Alicia Stone, Gayle Monique, Norma Jeane. So strange that this is a scene criticized by the movie itself as an example of bad scene. It actually has no anal, just some vaginal strap-on. Anyway, at the end of it, this is what Tiffany says.

^I don't know why I have this strong attachment to lesbian porn movies from the 80s and 90s. In the last years I watched the entire Where the boys aren't series and I checked some of the first movies of the No man's land series. And I don't think the reason is nostalgia, because I didn't grew up watching these movies in my teenage days. In my case, it would be more the Viv Thomas work. For these movies, I believe is more how they were made. The photography, the direction, the scenario, the aesthetics. I don't know, but I like it.
In regards of the sex, I have the same feelings. Good and interesting scenes terribly sabotaged by the presence of toys. In Where the boys aren't, the premise is more than true, but the masculine presence was still there with so many dildos of all shapes and sizes being inserted in the women's vaginas and asses. Even the final orgies, so promising as this festival of the female godddeses eating out each other, had to conclude with a storm of plastic dicks. It's kind of ironic a movie like this one makes a meta-commentary on this trend while indulging on it. With all of that it's interesting to see someone throwing that opinion, more in a time where lesbian sex was viewed as just a little add on in the usual straight movies and not valued as it's own thing.
^A lot of g/g scenes during those days were just add-ons to mostly straight movies, but there were quite a few series of all g/g variety, like Where the Boys Aren't, No Man's Land, Strap-on Sally, Babes Illustrated. And I seem to remember Jim Holliday directed a lot of huge lesbian orgies. In fact, No Man's Land is huge. It probably is the biggest g/g series outside of Women Seeking Women. According to IAFD, the first one came out in 1988, and the last one of the main series, #45, came out in 2009, spanning 20 years! And there are plenty of spin-offs "editions," 7 Asian, 2 "Coffee and Cream" (lol), 7 European, 11 interracial, 9 Latin, 4 MILF, and several compilations.
In any event, more meta-commentary incoming! This is part 2 of my review of the movie No Man's Land 27, which, upon further checking, may have been released in 1999, not 2001.

1. 20-25 years ago the world really was quite different with respect to sexuality, such that even in the porn industry, there were not that many women who had sexual experience with other women, and might well be quite uncomfortable in such scenes, despite lesbian scenes being thought of as "softer." I'm sure there are still such women today, but there are certainly far fewer (especially in the US).
2. The primary driver for toy-use was not the performers themselves, but the directors/producers. Of course, in general 95% of the things you see on screen back then or today are always driven by the director (that's their job, after all).
Tiffany arrives after the scene and talks to Michelle/Ashley. Tiffany complains about the toy-heavy scene, and they have this utterly fascinating conversation.
Michelle: Look, how many lesbians are actually making films for lesbians? Very few, I can tell you that much. The demographic is way too small. I mean, what's your point anyways? That you don't like penetration, so you don't think it should be shown too much?
Tiffany: Where's the passion in artificial penis pounding, Michelle?
Michelle: I kinda like it myself.
Tiffany: How often? In your private life, how often do you like your women to fuck you like a man?
Michelle: As often as I can get it.

Here are some of my reflections.
1. The porn industry understands that lesbian sexuality is not an anti-male/penis/penetration political ideology, and many lesbians do enjoy getting pounded by strap-on dildos. 2. Furthermore, butch/femme dichotomy, which involves (at least in part) butches penetrating femmes, is a big thing within lesbian sexuality (arguably bigger in the past then it is today), and in some limited ways, lesbian porn was trying to respect that? Of course they can't use masculine/butch women (considering their male audience), but the reason they use toys may have been, at least in some part, trying to acknowledge this dichotomy. 3. 70s and early 80s? This was way before my time so I know nothing of it. But this is fascinating: was lesbian porn more about "two women blissfully going down on each other" at that time? Was that, for whatever reason, considered a failure, so we switched to this more toy/penetration heavy, "nastier" style during the 90s (before switching back)? It's been said that history doesn't repeat, but it does rhyme. I would love to hear from people who know porn from those way early days.
Anyway, we go back to Tiffany's office, where her editor Ava has sex with Kristen. Like I said before, too much closeups. But the sex is very nice, including very sexy oral and wet fingering, though it does have a relatively unobtrusive small vibrator.
The last scene is between Tiffay and Temptress. Things started to change with the introduction of the video tape. Then directors, specifically Bruce Seven, started to give lesbian porn fans a little variety. As you would expect, the g/g porn audience fractured as customers found what content appealed to them. That's what's been going on the last 40 years.
4. Oh yeah, back to your recent analysis of the gender of the audience for g/g porn. Lesbians often express the idea that g/g erotica, hardcore or not, exists for the male gaze. Often the critique is "that's not how we have sex". Yet, nobody has ever made porn which they are willing to pay for in any meaningful numbers. They are "window shoppers", yet you have some strange fascination with the subject.
She has done some interesting(to say the least)work for the Disciples of Desire guys. It's not g/g in nature, but after seeing a short clip of it, can't help but laugh when I see her.
I totally share this taste, and can't help feel that the era's makeup, hair and clothes are contributing to this effect - what you probably mean by aesthetic. I mean, every decision made in those categories from back then is roundly pilloried today, for obvious reasons, but from a porn viewership perspective, there's something about the way it emphasized fabricated feminine glamour - caked-on makeup, huge hair, stockings and shoes -- that, however ridiculous as it was, is a turn-on for me when they start having sex with each other.
