I disagree. I don't think that Beastiality and kiddie porn are in the same pool, but I don't agree with beastiality being okay. It's not about being 'gross' or taboo, it's the fact that I am not okay with sex where there is technically no consent. Can animals consent? No. Then what makes it okay?
How do feel about everything else animals don't consent too. Did your dog or cat consent to come live with you? Do cows, sheep, pigs, chickens consent to be killed for food. Why should animals have to consent to sex.

One thing to consider is the fact that the constitution doesn't give us any rights whatsoever. It recognizes the existence of those rights to begin with.

Certainly, some forms of bestiality are harmful in which the animal is visibly injured or even killed. I am certain that most people would find this offensive and would agree that perpetrators should be prosecuted. However, when a dog willingly mounts his mistress who gets on all fours for him, I fail to see how this constitutes abuse. I would also argue that the act is fully consensual, especially when no prompting, calling or coaxing has to be given to get the animal to mount. If there is someone who disagrees with this, please, please, please, clarify your position for me. How exactly is this nonconsensual??? Finally, the comment about sex with animals causing AIDS is inaccurate. AIDS was mostly caused by eating improperly prepared bush meat. Another possible source was a human being bitten by a pet primate. There are three or four different strains of AIDS that can be traced back to simian sources. A combination of bush meat consumption and bites from pets is the most likely explanation for the mutation of SIV to HIV.
^^^In other words blood to blood contact. Other than needle sharing, sexual contact is the most effective means of transmission. What can be transmitted by a bite can most definitely be transmitted via penis.
