Clearly hearing the director telling the lady what to say and do. Don't they hear this when their putting the film together? And if so, can't they block it out? (I'm particularly thinking of the start and end of some GBA scenes. One that always comes to mind is Ariana Jollee at the end of her scene in GBA 10; you clearly hear the director instructing "Say 'now it's your turn to get off guys'".)

I forgot one. I hate it when the guy holds back from full and deep penetration 'cause cameraman wants to get a good look. Again, a minor gripe but what is it with guys who poke their dick out of their flies and fuck girls without even unbuttoning? Not only does it look ridiculous, I can't imagine it's particularly comfortable either.
A lot of things I hate in porn seem to be fairly modern occurrences, all of which are down to the producers. My main hates are: - Misogynistic language aimed at the female performers, both on set and in the descriptions and titles of films and websites - Choking, slapping, spitting, fish-hooking etc - in no way sexy. As for how certain women look - well, I have 'my type' but I appreciate that fashions change and I like that at the moment there is a fairly diverse group of performers out there. To say you hate girls with tattoos or unusual hairstyles is really just a reflection on your own taste. I'd much rather have an industry where women are encouraged to be comfortable in their own bodies and look however they want. And also, as others have mentioned, do what they want to do in front of the camera instead of pressure to do anal or whatever. Another problem for me are idea-bankrupt series, websites and films. Where are the producers pushing the boundaries? Shooting in different ways, being creative and artistic? Time and again on forums like this certain films and series get mentions as being favorites and a lot of the time it is because they did something unusual. So much porn these days looks and feels the same that you can hardly tell one film from another.

I totally agree. I hate the prepubescent look too. I'd much prefer a woman to look like a woman (including having a nice fluffy bush), rather than the schoolgirl look. TRIPLE YUCK!!! While we're talking about skinny being perfect, I hate skinny, average looking girls. If a girl is skinny but beautiful, that's one thing. Tori black and Jenna haze being perfect examples. What I've seen recently. This made it my #1 hate in porn. A guy who tries to film his own porn series but dicks up his first (and only) scene on a royal scale due to stupidity. I don't know where to begin but I dubbed this "The Porn Scene From Hell". The lighting - The guy has his studio lights set up. He fucks the woman in missionary. Unless you don't want people to know the identity of certain people everyone knows that if you are going to film something you don't do it with the camera facing against the beaming lighting because it would create shadows and make the scene look dark. It created the illusion that two silhouettes were fucking. If you're going to film something especially if it's porn the lighting should always be behind the camera to stop the creation of shadows from getting in the shot NOT with the camera facing the beaming light. The camerawork - Sloppy as fuck. The camera was on a tripod at first but was off target with the way this guy placed it. Based on the quality the camera was far from cheap but 1080p and good quality won't save shit if you don't know what you're doing. The camera was shooting high up from the bed where they were fucking missionary so you get this lengthy shot of just him cropped in the scene with the illusion that he was fucking the bed with the woman no where in sight. Don't get me started on when he took it off the tripod and attempted POV. There was so much stuff in that scene that was bad I don't have time to comment them all. One last thing I will say about it is that when the woman in the scene complains how much of a fuck up the scene is you know it's going to be bad. The scene did show promise at first but it all quickly went to hell almost as fast as it started.

^I agree with the lighting issue - for me general technical laziness or just ignorance is unforgiveable and can render even the best efforts worthless. Lighting should be sufficiently copious and difused that there arnt shadows and for example a guy moving close to the girl does not throw the girl into darkness. Outside ideally bright overcast. I bugs me when people sometimes film facing towards bright windows , presumably in the beleif that this produces a brightly lit scene - whereas in reality it produces a bright window and an otherwise degraded image. Some producers apply themselves to producing a good product , some simply dont. Thankfully nowadays most pro porn seems to be technically reasonably adequate , there are exceptions for example , idk if we are allowed to critiscice producers so i will just say a certain british bukkake site. And come to think of it GGG lighting is rather industrial. The mark of good producers is that you can tell they have paid attention to lighting , set and background colours etc and often by watching the transgression from their early stuff to their late stuff you can see that they have made the effort to learn and to create as visually attractive a thing as they can. The scene you descride sounds like an amateur effort.

In the current climate where it seems most consumers want their porn clean shaved and sanitized , in a perverse way i kinda like the flies (like in panocitas) as an awkward reminder of just how filthy it really is, and thats good.
^^ If you don't like something or enjoy something but another person does, it doesn't mean the other person is an idiot. People can have different preferences, and if so, provided they don't affect anyone else, those different preferences should be accepted and respected. That's what I take 'to each their own' to be about.
Trust me there was a lot wrong with the scene. Bad pacing during fucking, bad pre-planing and execution (when they tried anal but the guy forgot the lube in the other room and had to go and get it), bad interaction with the two during the scene that felt flat. bad post editing (When he went to get the lube and it took him for FUCKING ever to find it and she is just in bed looking like a deer in headlights. He didn't cut that part out.), bad bad bad. I will give credit for the beginning of the scene. It was hot and showed promise at the start but it all went to shit quickly. I'm not trying to knock the guy but if he ever decides he wants to give it a go ever again I hope he watches his first scene and learn from it. Better yet I suggest he sign up watches some scenes from MomPOV (in my eyes they are masters of POV) because that seems like the style he was going for. That just goes to show something. Just because you have a cinematic camera with super great quality at 1080p doesn't mean you can shoot porn and magic can happen.

I've been watching porn for a very long time, never gave it much thought, just enjoyed the show. I get the fantasy but I don't get the acrobatics, real people don't fuck that way, but I guess the desire to watch the actual penetration is important. You're right. I don't have a problem remembering that, but I do think that after a while some of them do. The "adult" business is one of the few I know of, that once you're in, you're in. That's why I think that the age requirement should be changed from 18 to 20.
