Regarding Girlsway's recent scene with Gizelle Blanco and Jayden Cole and the topic of camp, corniness, goofiness, attempted comedy, etc in scenes:
I dont mind a scene where the girls are "playing around". We have to understand that not everyone has sex and enjoy themselves the same. If every scene was the same it would be boring. Some girls talk alot during sex, some girls are quiet, so girls laugh alot, some girls get super emotional alot. Everyone isnt the same. I can appreciate that.
When I think of someone like Kylie Rocket I think of playful, energetic, and thus her scenes show it. Now it might not turn you on and its ok too. Some people love real rough and nasty scenes where a girl get spanked so hard she turn red or where there is a ton of spit covering a girl face and just body in general. I dont personally love it but again there are some girls who absolutely love that in their scenes and there are those who love watching it and get turned on by it.
The only criticism of a scene for me if I feel like its being overly done, it feels scripted way too much, or at least for me some of the things I look for in a scene isnt being done or some of the things I dont look for in a scene is being done. But in general there is nothing wrong with girls "playing around" especially if I know if either one or both of the girls in the scene its there nature. What would be odd if Kylie wouldnt be playful in her scenes. Then I would think that weird. For example, Celeste Star in all her scenes would be talkative. There was one scene she wasnt and that was a Girlfriends Films scene with Elexis Monroe. It was a good scene but it was odd bc I wasnt used to seeing Celeste like that. Idk why she was like that in that scene but she was.

They barely even have sex in those SLAYED scenes. That Vanessa Sky Kylie Rocket trailer is hilarious. At one point in the trailer, one of them bounces on the other's face as if she was trying to ride a dick extremely fast. It's just very silly nonsense.
Ironically, Kylie has shown the ability to engage with and genuinely enjoy women sexually. She had a wonderful little scene with Jezzabel Vessir that is notable for how Kylie seemed to get Jezzabel off for real. Kylie is, imo, wasted on the comedy sex.
About Celeste, she's a legend and I've seen her really eat some pussy, but all that noise she makes is for laughs. Elexis is one of those performers that tries to get her scene partner off for real. It's likely Celeste was having an actual good time in that scene. I'll have to go check it out.
I do agree with that you are saying about Slayed. They come across as heavily scripted as in "you do this, you do that, then you do this, and then cut scene". So I feel like the sex isn't truly natural like I see from AHL or Lust Cinema. The reason I said what I said about Kylie bc I do like her and I think she genuinely like girls. Go look at her scene with Scarlit Scandal for Bellesa House and tell me the difference in performance from the Slayed scene? The style of which Bellesa shoots is different bc they are more authentic and natural and real with their sex but Kylie was looking as though she was playful or "playing around" in that scene too imo. Doesn't mean she wasn't really getting off or getting Scarlit off.
I agree that Celeste is a legend but again how she normally is in her scenes is her. So I expect it but I also love it. You definitely need to go check out her scene with Elexis and let me know what you think? Again I thought it was a great scene as both delivered like always but it was just strange it was the one scene Celeste wasn't doing what she normally do in her scenes.

^I mean, they are playing around in that Bellesa scene. It doesn't mean they didn't enjoy performing together, but that's certainly performance. I'm not them, obviously lol, but I don't think anyone was close to coming in that scene. Doesn't mean it wasn't fun.
I looked at Elexis and Celeste in Women Seeking Women #18. It looked like it may have been early in Celeste's career. She may not have stylized her performance at that time yet, so it looked a little more like real sex. Also it's Elexis and it's not like Elexis needs to be guided and dominated through a scene. You know Celeste usually plays the more hyper-enthused aggressive role, but that may not have been necessary, if that character had even been developed at the time of that scene. I wonder if they did other scenes together.
Yeah I'd like to think in the Bellesa scene they had an orgasm even if it's just one. Everyone reacts to orgasm differently. And if there are those then that lets me know they aren't authentic imo.

Performers change how they act because producers want different things, usually some sort of exaggerated nonsense, ala SLAYED, because coomers (that's what performers call us now lmao) believe a woman isn't enjoying sex if she isn't screaming and moaning in a really extra way or putting on a goofy face at how sexy their screen partner is. Sometimes producers want more "energy" so performers will do things a lot faster or act more hyper for the scene.
I imagine, without even looking it up, that if Lena Paul has a Brazzers scene out there, or any super-basic BG scene, it'll be a lot different from what you see in her scene with Abigail Mac for Sweetheart video.
Not only do performers change how they have sex, we rarely see the real thing, even in content produced by the more mature and grown-up companies, like the good versions of Sweetheart and Girlfriendsfilms
^^ I agree that performers go based off of what the studio want. Im more so thinking of how a girl is during sex is how she is doing sex. ^Yep, and there has also been a pattern of certain agents having new girls do little to no G/G until the girl shows she actually plans to stay around for awhile and the newbie novelty wears off.
Plus as unfair as it is, certain girls just give off a "B/G" only vibe, and don't really get considered for G/G by fans or the industry. But the days of only the "hottest" girls doing G/G only are long gone.

Now that unfortunately her relationship didnt work out she says she is looking to come back to the industry so I hope she shoot some G/G scenes like she used too bc thats how I discovered her and fell in love with Kimmy lol.
^Yup, either people don't think a girl is the "G/G type" just based on appearance, or agents try to squeeze as much B/G content out of a girl before she leaves because of the high turnover.
It seems only the girls who actually demand G/G scenes, have fans who request them for G/G, and/or are with an agency who has a good relationship with the G/G companies. Other than that, they are vets who have been around awhile and made a decent name for themselves in the world of G/G.
Rebel Lynn was another who was in some really good GG scenes for a while but then seemed to do pretty much exclusively BG scenes after that at least in studio scenes. I suppose on the flip side, there are plenty of girls who become GG only performers if they get serious with a male partner (even if their partner is a fellow porn actor who continues to shoot with multiple women, but that's a rant for another time).
Edit: Roxanne Rae too. She did a really good GG scenes for New Sensations but was rarely in scenes with women that weren't an BGG threesome or some kind of gang gangbang or extreme scene.

The last 3 or so GFF releases have leaned a little closer to realistic sex than at any point in the last 2 or 3 years. Knock-on-wood, cross-my-fingers, but it seems like they are getting better. It was getting consistently very childish over there for a while.

^It could be that they are watching while someone else is in the room. If you hold the phone vertically, no one assumes you are watching a video. If they think you are watching a video, they might take interest in what you are watching.
Also, there is a certain appeal to videos that have that "recorded with my phone" look but with good resolution. I often find myself bored with the over-produced stuff.
When you go back & look at the LesbianX library, there are a lot of good scenes. The Tori Black comeback offerings were particularly good. Eliza's presence makes this trailer of interest, but I can't really consider a membership until the frequency of g/g scenes at XEmpire picks up considerably.
I think Brazzers is completely going off of reputation and the fact that they are snatching up every big name in the industry to exclusively shoot for them. So fans will spend to see them bc they know they cant see Abella, Angela, Cherie, and others no where else but Brazzers. Slayed is more of glamour to me plus they also have big names shooting for them like Kenna, Kenzie Anne, Alina Lopez, etc... Slayed also do a great job promoting and getting fans involved into creating pairings. But Im like you I cant see myself spending my money on a terrible product like Brazzers. Slayed I wouldnt have a problem with if the sex felt more natural. I dont like them cutting out transitions. One minute the girl is on her back and then the next second she is bent over and the other girl has her hair tied licking the other girl butt. Like I hate that with a passion. Thats why I was never up and arms of WeLiveTogether. Dont get me wrong there were alot of great scenes but every time I saw them just cut from one thing straight to the next it just ruin the vibe of the scene for me. Maybe its just me bc I love the little things in a scene where as maybe others just dont care about them.
The time is ripe for a new G/G site to swoop in and capitalize on the frustrations of disgruntled hardcore G/G fans by providing as much as possible of the things we have been requesting.

If you want some more story driven lesbian porn movies, you can take a look to other Bree Mills films, like The Turning, Little Red or The faces of Alice. They have different styles, more focused in horror, fantasy or comedy, but they worth a watch. Then you have Ricky Greenwood, who made some interesting movies like Confessions of a sinful nun, Talk derby to me or The girls of wrestling. And if you want a website dedicated to story driven scenes, Allherluv is the best place. There are some works, like The producer or The rose retreat that are really interesting.
