THANK YOU Bill, as much as I enjoyed the random flooding the first day in this thread, seeing it again throughout lastnight and today got really annoying. Someone like Sasha Knox posts her ass off for 6 months to get near Taryn, and here we have someone showing up two days ago encouraging people to flood her thread just so it could reach a desired number. Has to have some meaning behind it man, and as funny and cute Penny has been....it's pretty wrong!

I think in all honesty, Bill should lock this thread...if things are to be fair in this competition. Or atleast somehow delete all the Ultra posts. He himself posted close to 400 times in this thread in the last two nights alone, and that's taking it way too far. Then start off the competition fresh, and do it the right and hard way like Sasha Knox did. She's gotten pretty damn close to Taryn's thread man...or did until acouple of nights ago anyway. That's the way to do it!

I've read this book twice. And I surely must be missing the point. I saw it recommended on a TVshow, and the girl said it literally changed her life. After reading it I came to the conclusion that he (Coelho) was talking about religion, and that it therefor couldn't do anything for me. Did you see it another way?

His point was more that everything is cosmically connected, and therefor when you follow your heart, the path before you will appear, because everything is pulling for that. it is more a way of life centered around love, and letting love lead your way and surround your life.

Daymn people, I was just stating the obvious and it's you guys that need to RELAX! lol I've been playing along myself, specially with Ultra...but I thought it got alittle overboard with about 25 of the 30 or so pages, containing nothing but jibrish lol. Anyways, honestly....I don't really got the time like Ultra does to sit around on the computer for the whole day n night posting, so won't be able to keep up in the Taryn thread! The couple of hours I spare everyday is a hard to manage as it is man. There u have it people, the truth! lol But don't worry people, if the battle is still on...then our fav Ass hat's still got some back.
That's a great way of approaching life ... and probably the only way that makes sense. Especially once you've slogged through enough of it ... up and down, good and bad ...
I love the thought of it, and I tried really hard to get it, but I figured that if I have to try so hard there's gotta be something wrong. Also I looked for (don't know the correct word) but symbols?. That the things he talked about had some kind of equivalent in the real world. Didn't find any though. Anyway, I guess it's not for everybody. I'm quite a non-religious kind of guy, very scientific about things. I guess it got to abstract for me to handle.

From reading further posts in the thread, it sounds a bit "deep," so I will wait until I am on vacation in a month to read...sounds like a good "plane read." And seems to be right up my alley, so to speak. (Ouch!) No, I didn't mean that, I meant that it sounds like there are things to parse out and apply to oneself (i.e., it is open to interpretation) and I love that kind of a read. And if there's a good story to go along with it, all the better.
