I understand wanting to get rid of the "cheating white girlfriend" and "white cuck/black bull" aspects of Blacked, what I don't understand and certainly don't support are the calls to add non-black male talent on the site. Black men are already at an extreme disadvantage in the straight porn industry, the interracial niche is the only thing keeping black men steadily employed. Look at Brazzers, where black men are cameos more often than performers in their scenes.
Is it too much to ask for a site which focuses on black men and non-black women having sex without the fetishism attached?

How hypocritical, I don't know about the first two girls but I know Abigail has probably made thousands of dollars off of Blacked. Plus she's a Vixen Angel, lol...

Don't worry, while the site's name will likely be changed (rightfully so), they're not going to change the theme of it...black guys fucking white women is way too popular - and lucrative - for a studio like theirs to stop doing it.

This is the most pragmatic, logical opinion I've read on this subject. Thanks for posting, Draxxx.
By the way, I don't know if y'all noticed it because it's in the Porn News - Press Releases forum, but AVN actually came out and announced they will no longer use the terms "interracial" and "IR" in their publications and that "interracial" and "ethnic" categories have been eliminated from the AVN Awards: AVN Announces end to IR awards, the term and more
It's not pragmatic, though, because the insistence on defining and categorizing people based on their race is what allows racism to continue.
Everything that makes a black man "black" is imposed upon him by culture. He is not inherently "black". The physiological (objective) differences between a black man and a white man are minor in a biological sense and make very little difference. The human genotype is actually not very diverse at all, relative to other species on this planet, so we are all pretty much the same with minor differences that only affect our aptitudes in very subtle ways.

Sure, that sounds great...we as human beings should completely deny our diversity.
A realistic "ultimate end goal" would be that every person can acknowledge and accept people of every race and ethnicity without thinking of them or treating them any differently than they would someone of their own race/ethnicity. Racism is the problem, not racial and ethnic identity.
Edited by - Mass Facialties on 6/6/2020 1:07:17 AM
I do not mean to be rude by saying this, but that is a misguided philosophy. As long as phenotypic differences are used to categorize human beings into separate "races," and we continue to think of ourselves and others in terms of these arbitrary social constructs, racism will always exist.
I am not naive enough to believe that we can simply will a race-blind society into existence. I submit that we have tried, and failed, to do just that over the past half-century. It doesn't work because you cannot separate people from their historical context. We are all born into different circumstances and are therefore treated differently by the system that supports us. It would take some sort of unprecedented unifying event to shake up the system and end that way of thinking forever, particularly a traumatic one that defines the entire species, like the discovery of alien life or something of a similar magnitude.
In any case, that is the only way to eradicate racism. As long as the concept of racial or ethnic identities remains a part of our collective consciousness, racism will never go away. Diversity should be acknowledged at the individual level, not used as a tool to define us within the framework of arbitrary groups.
This may be a controversial point of view, but I do not believe that a multicultural global society is actually possible. Human beings do not work that way. We are tribal. We compare our tribe against the "other" and compete for dominance. Racial tribes are easily formed and maintained because we look different from one another. This separation fosters cultural differences between tribes, as does geography, environment, etc... However, humanity cannot function as a global society unless we all identify as members of a single, unified tribe. That is fundamentally incompatible with the idea of multiculturalism.

^ "This may be a controversial point of view [...]"
It's not so much controversial as it is unrealistic.
^ Don't be so sure , it may but in a very long time, I mean real long , it may take millennia , we had many example with ancient Empires or Civilizations , Ancient Egypt , Rome, The Persian Empire , The First one lasted 6,000 years and yet they didn't mingled enough to create a recognizible new ethnic group even though they did have Black Pharahos , Priests and others Elite Citizens who here black as well , Apparently there was nothing to prevent any kind of social career nor social mixing among them . According to the Bible even complete strangers could achieve the highest ranks such as Joseph or Moses. Still no recognizable "Egyptian race" ever take existence.
The Roman Empire mixed people even more free people could move wherever they wanted throughout the Empire , there were no borders , the Slaves came from all over and were intermixed with no regard of race , a great number of slaves were freed a greated number of foreigners or barbarians were created Citizens , there have been Emperors from all over the Empire, there were many elite members who were either of foreign origin or even sons of freed people , I don't even want to mention those born from war rape either perpetrated by Roman conquering troops or their enemies invading the Empire such as the Gauls who sacked Rome in the IV century BC , or Hannibal troops who stayed in Italy for 20 Years , or Spartacus Slave Rebels who plundered throughout Italy for some years ,this lasted for some 700 years before the Barbarian invaded the Empire and dissolved it , It's Western part at least , After that many other Invasions and wars occurred , the Arabians invaded Spain and stayed there for some 800 years , the Vikings invaded and plundered most of Europe.
And yet the Europeans populations are still recognizable from each other, A Spaniard is still more similar to an Italian or a Greek than to an Arabian despite having been 800 years under them . Most of all there are inner differences between populations even in Italy despite having had 3,000 years of common history
The Italian descendants of the Etruscans are still recognizable , the Celtic originn of many Northern Italians are still most clear and so are the Greek ancestry of Many Southerners and this in Italy one of the oldest civilized areas in Europe along with Greece.
So yes there will be a great deal of mixing but to become homogene not so much
Not really talking to you directly but in general...
I'm not trying to funny here but why is it a problem to have the "cheating girlfriend" on BLACKED when that senerio is a typical porn trope in porn and even mainstream movies for years? It's okay for a white girl to fantasize about cheating with a rich guy, a bad boy, a rockstar, an athlete, the construction worker, the cop, the fireman, the ex convict, or whatever but it's bad for her to fantasize about being with a black guy? Every one of the people I named have stereotypical aspects attached to them but it's bad for her to be attracted to stereotypical black traits? Okay for her to be attracted to white guys she thinks has a big penis but bad for her to want to be with a black guy who she think has a big penis? If a person doesn't like cuck scene in general that's fine but to not like them but if think they're bad simply because there's a black guy in them then that's pretty messed up thinking.
All this stufff is fetishism. All this stuff is fantasy. BLACKED is really no different than most other sites. It cateres to a fetish/genre that has an audience. BRAZZERS is mostly about big boob girls in short senarios having sex. EVIL ANGEL seems to be mostly about "harder" scenes involving anal sex. LEGAL PORNO is mostly about DPs, triple penatrations, and gangbangs. Some sites are mostly about dads and moms banging step-kids. There are sites devoted to men having sex with barely legal girls. Lots of sites doing what I think is ugly things to women. Most of this stuff isn't PC. In the real world it would be deplorable. All that stuff is okay but BLACKED is bad because it shows white girls having a thing for black guys and them playing up the size of their penis or the fact that they're black? The stereotype of a girl with big boobs is dumb and craves sex is fine but the stereotype of a black guy with a big penis is bad?
I like the BLACKED stuff (mostly BLACKEDRAW). Despite what others think I think they deliver a great product and I know what to expect from them. I don't believe they're shooting anything offensive. White girls are attracted to all type of guys for all types of reasons. Just because BLACKED has chosen to focus on a particular attraction/fetish/fantasy that their audience seems to enjoy and want and label it as such doesn't make them any worse than most of the the other studios out there.
The skin color is part of the equasion. Some white girls like the skin color and look of black men. Some girls like the culture aspects. Some girls are attracted to their place in society. It's not wrong for a girl to be attracted to any of these aspects. I like that people aren't all the same. they don't have to be. They shouldn't be. It's fine to be labelled black if you're black. It's fine to be labelled Asian if you're Asian. It's fine to be labelled tall if you're above average height. To me racism is and will always about the treatment of a people because of their differences. It's racist to treat people negatively because of their skin color/culture. It's not racist just because a person acknowledges a person has a different skin color or culture.
I'm black I enjoy raceplay. I'm not alone in that.
Most BMWF mainstream porn involves raceplay elements from soft to hard. I am comfortable with this. I enjoy this. Nobody is forced to watch this.
It's worrying to see so many people so interested in sanitizing the genre I most enjoy to align with either their inability to respect the difference between a portrayal and reality or to win a nebulous moral victory. Please don't make the porn I enjoy difficult to find. Please don't contribute to the social pressure of making sure the porn I enjoy doesn't get made.
The porn involving raceplay is intentional. It is a feature, not a bug. Blacked and almost all mainstream brands today barely have any.
I would kindly ask you not to participate in cheering on the further sanitization of porn. Leave everything alone and well marked, so that everyone can enjoy what they like and avoid what they don't.
Noticing differences between ourselves is so much part of our essential DNA and probably stems from when human beings were first making their way on the planet. That ability to recognise animals that weren't like you to be apprehensive about as a security and safety thing is probably where it all started. There is nothing wrong with that sense of being an individual and being proud of your roots and culture in a positive way. Where it is destructive is where people don't have that pride and self-confidence in themselves and express their 'individuality' in 'hating' people who are not like them and then using these feelings to persecute or discriminate against them. It is often politics and religion that fosters that negativity and looking across the globe now and back through time it's political leaders who often use this to manipulate public opinion in their favour, getting people to support them in denouncing their chosen 'fall-guy' be that Jews, Mexicans, immigrant workers, people from different ethnic background or with different sexual orientation. It plays to our basest instincts. The way out of this cycle is not through trying to homogenize but through education and developing the intellect of human beings to the point where we celebrate and don't feel threatened by our differences and can actually support others in expressing their own individuality and reject those who try to divide us.
I apologize if I am misunderstanding either of your posts, but I think you misunderstood mine. I know that humanity will not homogenize from a biological, DNA-based perspective for many, many years, if we ever do at all. That's not what I was talking about. In fact, I expect that the human race will remain as phenotypically diverse as it is today, more or less, for a long time to come.
I was talking about racial categories as they are defined culturally. Those definitions may be based on objective phenotypic differences, but they are 100% culturally determined and imposed. Those are the racial categories I was talking about, and I believe those will homogenize much more quickly than most people expect for the reasons I discussed earlier in my post about multiculturalism. In other words, changing the way we define and think about race is the only way forward for a truly global society. It doesn't mean that people will look any different, it simply means that we will categorize them differently.
A global society is hindered by the contradiction of maintaining separate tribal identities while simultaneously trying to function as a unified global community. Diversity should be recognized, but at the individual level, and it is arbitrary and inefficient to continue grouping people into separate races, so I do believe it is realistic to expect that we will (slowly) course-correct away from that way of thinking. This has actually already happened in some respects. Italians and other Mediterranean "dark white" people used to be treated as a separate race from "white" people, but that distinction has mostly disappeared from our lexicon today and they are usually considered "white". This happened as a result of specific cultural changes and shifts in power dynamics, and the circumstances were very different, but my point is that there is no reason the same thing cannot happen to our understanding of race in a broader sense, given enough time.
Our cultural definitions of race are arbitrary, but that is not the same thing as "random"; our understanding of race is based on the historical interactions between different isolated groups of people, but they are arbitrary in the sense that we made most of it up ourselves, and our genetics have little to do with the "racial" differences imposed by society. You don't get to decide that you're black. Society does. However, society decided collectively what it means to be black, and there is nothing about you that affirms society's image of you as a black man. For example, a black man's socioeconomic status or vulnerability to profiling are not determined by his DNA. They are not intrinsic to his biology. That is only a small part of what makes him "black", because most of it is rooted in the history of African slavery performed by European land owners. (Although the true genesis and machinations of the African slave trade is a can of worms I have no intention of opening in this thread.)

Anyway, as a black man I would love all interracial porn to do away wit the racial stereotypes NOT the category. Lets not act like companies such as Brazzers and Bangbros are giving multiple black performs consistent work. I understand why Black women who are in the business do not like companies like BLACKED because they aren't getting work but stop and think for a moment.
Now back to why im here...These women need to be on BLACKED ASAP because the site just isn't as good as it used to be when it was new fresh faces.

I'll tell you, Siri has credibility she a veteran but I doubt BLACKED was knocking at her door for a feature. Kimmy Granger never did a scene with a black male performer during her porn career. You don't have to shoot for BLACKED if you're so against Blacked and for dismantling the fetishzation of Black men why not shoot with Black men for other sites if its all the same rate and no different? At the height of her career she was no doubt the "IT Girl" and could have that option to choose or at minimum suggest her male co star. It's all performative because she was getting backlash for never doing IR, is she racist because of that? Of course not; but it's pretty clear she was holding out because she wanted more money otherwise what is your reasoning for never doing a scene with a Black male talent if there is no difference....and she could say because she just didn't want to but then that leads to more questions.

^ Siri has no credibility until she says what her reasoning actually is or was because she's nowhere near the draw she was 7-8yrs ago. It's easy for her to act like she's taking the high road online now that it might drive traffic to her OF site but she didn't have shit to say about any of this for months prior to the events in Minneapolis. There are far, far too many people posting on the VMG social media sites that are flat out hypocrites and are using the current situation for SJW posturing. If you care so much state your case and make a difference, otherwise just keep quiet like you were before any of this came up and you were irrelevant.
To your second point, there are a lot of reasons besides "holding out for more" and race that would preclude anyone from shooting scenes with anyone else, regardless of skin color. It's easy to say it's "just because he's black" but that's lazy and dishonest, not saything that's your position, but that's what it usually gets reduced to at some point. Scroll through most of the threads on this site and you'll see post after post about why straight/bi male viewers won't watch a scene with any number of performers in it and it's never "because he's black" but for every other reason under the sun. We can be open and obvious because we're just the viewer, but for a woman in the industry, even if she has those same opinions I would wager it is a much, much more delicate process of declining an offer.
A woman has the right to decide who she fucks. She does not need to explain or justify herself and she is not necessarily racist if she has never had sex with black men.
We cannot turn this around and declare that a woman is racist by default unless she fucks black men. That is ridiculous.
OK. So some girls expressed their opinion about the negative aspects of Blacked. But did anyone ask the male performers on Blacked? Do any of them feel they were discriminated? I'm asking if they came up with a statement, a complaint, anything, since I don't follow male talents on Twitter.
It's an old scene filmed quite a while ago. They scraped it up because they are running out of stuff to release because of the virus shutdown.

Ricky Johnson was the most outspoken and/or his thread received the most attention. A summation of his points:
The industry is racist. People of color don't have a voice, especially women. There are very few websites for people of color. The only sites that shoot black people do so in a way that demeans them and their culture. Those same sites have directors that overstep boundaries.
Subjectively he adds: Many great performers have been pushed out because there was no place for them. People of color won't get the same opportunities as their peers. There are movies that only have one person of color in them. Some people laugh at his/their struggle. At some point he hadn't seen another person of color on set for three years. He's been pulled from a group scene because some of the women don't perform with black men. Scumbags still have platforms and people make light of his situation out of pure ignorance. Dialogue, awareness, be the change.
A lot of that is problematic but that's what he said.
Diversity will never be purely a factor at individual levels and will always have a group element because human beings are by their nature social animals and define themselves according to the 'groups' that they feel that they are part of.

If they have a problem, they wouldn't be shooting for that website and we would have heard from them. Why ask?
^ Why? Because they may feel uncomfortable with what they are doing or the nature of the website but are performing because they need the work! Either way.....I'd be far more interested in what their perspectives are than some of the people climbing on the racism bandwagon who were nowhere to be scene a month ago!
Looks like blacked.com is out of new content the reason why i'm saying that is they are previewing an old scene from deeper.com in which the cast was Rob Piper Adria Rae and Alina Lopez as their new upcoming scene so definitely time to unsubscribe :(
^ Yep......and then he puts out a number of tweets promoting scenes on 'InteracialPOV.com' and promotes one of his scenes describing it as 'Beauty vs The Beast'!
The racism in the industry is clear but you can't work for clearly racist studios and then complain on twitter after lol.
Either don't work for them and call them out or work for them, collect your money, and don't be a hypocrite.
And if the racist studios are the only ones offering you a gig then maybe it's time for a new job because porn isn't the only industry in the world. Is it right? No, but it's reality. And if he wants to make a difference instead of just leaving the industry as so many black performers do, then he should walk the walk and not work for DogFart, Blacked, etc.
Nothing against anyone personally, and it's great that people are talking and having a conversation about a lot of major issues this industry has, but it's one thing to talk about it when it's a hot topic and it's another to do things that help fight the issues a week, two weeks, two months, a year down the road when it's not front and center.
once again you miss the point it's like abuse on set when people say the girl should have leave etc they love their industry as much as you i think to call it quit porn has a racism problem it's not by leaving that the problem will be solve
I wouldn't call people hypocritical. Since the whole industry is viewed as racist, you don't really have much options as a black performer, so if you want to work, you are forced to put ethical issues on the side. Why do they only speak up now and not before? We don't know that they didn't, sporadically, but no one ever listened. These opinions are just louder and stronger now, because they come in a storm. It's the same thing with the accusations of sexual assault against female pornstars. If a single one spoke up in the past, no one cared. Now they are more powerful together.
Now back to stereotypes and fetishizing black man with white girls. I think it's hard to delimit the racism part of it. The sole fact of having a black man and a white woman in a scene is not racist, right? That would mean we get rid of this pairing, so we only have same race pairs from now on, which is obviously ridiculous and absurd and truly racist. So we still need to keep them, but we have to find what's racist about them. The objectification of black men? That they are only good for their big dicks? Well, all porn is about big dicks. And all porn is about objectifying women. So resolve that. What else? The IR label? I agree to that. But you still have to label it somehow. Or not? You just call it b/g, no matter what races are involved? Then people who want to search for exact categories how will they find it? Please chime in with more aspects.
I think it's ridiculous that Blacked is taking the heat for all the sins of the industry and the sins of society, just because they are more popular and visible. In my opinion, they just have to change the scenarios, if that's the main problem. Girls will keep having fantasies with black men, and that's not racist, on the contrary. Blacked is just a place where they only concentrate on this fetish. What's wrong with that?

I understand the issue with IR, but the hypocrisy of these white women to accept the higher rates for doing IR and then turn back oh shit on the "industry" is beyond belief.
But yeah, they have all the simps out there as diehard followers.
^ I'm absolutely certain that the Black guy will be paid the same premium rate as the 'white' female pornstar. That is a matter of both race and gender equality!
I don't think it is constructive for people to give up and quit simply because there is racism present in the industry, nor do I think it is fair to criticize performers who are complaining about racism just because they have worked for "interracial" studios in the past. After all, porn is a business, and performers are simply cogs in the machine. They are not the decision-makers. As a black man, if your agent can get you steady work shooting for sites like Blacked, it is not only in your best interest to take that work, but it may also be the difference between having a successful career and a shitty one. You can take a moral stand against racism up to a certain point, but you also need to earn a decent living. In other words, Jax Slayher's gotta eat too.
Ultimately, consumers drive the trends. The "interracial" category exists because consumers regard black men separately from white men. That has a benign manifestation, in consumers who wish to see black men specifically, as well as a malignant manifestation, in consumers who wish to not see black men regardless of their other preferences.
The issue of racism in the porn industry is complicated by the fact that many porn consumers view male talent as an avatar for themselves and have difficulty identifying with talent of a different race. I think it could be argued pretty successfully that this itself is racist, though not consciously, as I'd be willing to bet that most porn consumers do not look much like their male talent "avatars" in other respects (e.g. athleticism), so the fact that race is singled out as a differentiating factor is telling.
I wonder how much of that is driven simply by a primal desire to identify with one of the participants in the scene, but then the apparent inability for viewers to do that with men of different races raises a broader question: Is racism "hard-coded" to some extent within all of us? If that is the case, at what point is it no longer efficient (or even possible) to surmount?
Edited by - evilpineapples on 6/8/2020 10:30:23 AM
All that needs to change is the marketing. Stop making scenes with black performers something that is out of the ordinary, stop giving the sites and video titles stupid names and then the scenes will be just like all the other porn scenes. Just performers having sex.
