I'm here to also say that I was scammed by onlyfans girls. Bad camera angles, 5 min scenes, paywalls on top of monthly subscriptions. It's just not worth it anymore.
Unfortunately I was Bored and Gave OF a Try it's a Rip Off for the Most part Girls hold their Fans up as Hostages I had a Bad Experience with a Fit Milf and a British Barbie both Ripped Me off, Do yourself a Favor keep your Cash in Your Pocket.
Why would they care? And let's be realistic, is piracy even a real issue at this point? From what I've read over the past 5 years or so, it that the porn industry is surviving quite well, and that piracy is little more than a buzz word concern that pops up from time to time when things are slow.
Plus, is the issue even big enough to warrant the FBI? It's not like it's counterfeit items from China worth hundreds of millions to one or two players.

Giving paying customers the ability to dislike/downvote stores and/or posts would probably help a lot. You'd easily be able to tell whether a chick is a ripoff from her like/dislike ratio. Other solutions like implementing and enforcing things like mandatory previews for stores/clips etc would be a lot more complicated for the platform and producers alike with dubious benefits (ripoffs are just as capable of creating fake/misleading previews).

Good idea, hoochimama. Thanks.
I see there is always a Like button, but never a Dislike button.
Seems designed to look like a Win/Win all the time, instead of a more realistic Win/Sin.
They now have a Report option for messages, but I think that is mainly for "abuse."
I am wondering if another platform will open. This is going to affect a lot of people financially.

OF porn is as harmless as it gets. The most popular content is implied nudes/slips from famous social media girls. Is anyone still convinced that "banking partners and payment providers" are systematically shutting down porn out of legal concerns ("obscenity!" ) rather than an anti-porn agenda? They'll dictate what is allowed by October (starting with whichever kind of porn is perceived as less accepted by the morals of the day, so the gullible majority will think it doesn't concern them), and shortly after they will further cull the list, and on & on. They've already been doing it for the past couple of years with clips4sale & co whose studios are looking increasingly pathetic with their subterfuge-laden clips (not a coincidence that after all those woes C4S recently had to sell).
In a world where most people increasingly pay with cards rather than hard cash, where 3 billion people hold VISA cards and where internet commerce is inherently electronic what these unelected commercial entities are effectively doing is now dictating what is legal and what is not legal for you to sell/buy/do, regardless of democratic law, effectively setting themselves up as your new legislators & rulers. And if they can censor/dictate what porn you're allowed to buy/sell/watch they can also dictate which books you're allowed to buy & read, movies, tv, newspaper subscriptions etc (and I'll be surprised if they haven't already started on that).
And americans having their own freedom and sovereignty put into question by overreaching american financial companies is the least of it. VISA & mastercard are used worldwide, onlyfans is a british website, many (most?) of the people selling & buying on it are not in the usa. A czech studio can't sell its drunk sex orgy scene to a french customer because VISA has a problem with intoxicated debauchery? A french farmer can't sell foie gras to a spanish restaurant because Mastercard says it's cruel towards animals?
The possibility of american companies like VISA/Mastercard becoming corrupt is why Europe had to get started on alternatives like EPI, and the curse of political optimism is why it was delayed/not seen as urgent.

There are already plenty of platforms which mimic OnlyFans business structure: LoyalFans, JustForFans, etc.
This was going to happen eventually. Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr... none of these mainstream companies will ever tolerate porn on their platforms indefinitely. They all eventually feel the pinch of a moral panic and the legal and financial liabilities. With the puritans recently landing victories over the tube sites as well, the avenues for pornstars to hock their own content are narrowing again. I reckon cam sites will be the next target.
They will just move to other platforms and new ones are development as we speak. Let's just hope whatever they move to has a better infrastructure and rules in place so people can actually see what the fuck they are buying and paying for.
I stated this earlier. Many on this forum believed Onlyfans would not ban adult content. You were all wrong. A clear legal evaluation illustrates such high exposure. I am sure the company's attorneys have told them to get out of this business for a while. They made plenty of money. Get out before you end out losing your money, or even worse, criminal allegations for sex trafficking.
^^^ Actually bad news for the industry. Its turning those who might be thinking about coming back off. Shyla Jennings just posted on twitter how she is turned off by companies and agents excited to see sex workers to fail as a result of the news. She then said not all are like this but she said it makes her not want to come back ever. Cadence Lux said that she 100% retired now from hearing this news. Also I forgot who else said this but they said companies and agents are already celebrating hearing this news referencing article from AVN Stars I think.
So basically its good news for the industry. Its even worst. Sex workers are realizing if not they already realized that the industry doesnt have their best interest at heart. Again not every company and agent but for the most part in general the companies and agents. Sex workers are determine to still do their own thing whether it be find another platform (justforfans put a statement out saying they are a porn site and welcome sex workers), go back to camming, or retire 100% for good. Dont think if onlyfans truly is banning porn that these performers are going to run back to shooting mainstream. Its not going to happen and honestly I fully support them if they decide not to.
Not sure how the recent news are going to reflect upon the "semi-retired" pornstars that left shooting mainstream for this a website full of scam and ppv rubbish
This is a high percentage of content posted tho. People used of as an escape route for selling extreme fetishes videos

Like I said in my previous comment, this is how the rules are right now and what the content creators follow (meaning any sort of golden shower content on the public feed for example gets picked up by the OF algorithm and can be grounds for one's OnlyFans account which is why many creators send that kind of content through messages), so I'm not really sure what's changing starting october 1st.
The almost-retired will retire and the already retired won't come back. But what I was getting at is that we will no longer see the majority of big name stars leave to OF after building a name. We will see longer careers again like the good old days. You're right it's not good news, it is actually great news.
^ Alright just dont be upset when your way of thinking doesnt work out. Performers are already looking into other platforms like justforfans and loyalfans. Also Im sure some are going to get their own sites like we see Kendra Sunderland have. So its not cut and dry that those in the industry will stay long time because they have nowhere to turn outside of the industry.
Ill also add that alot of the performers like dont think onlyfans is banning porn they are just restating the rules that are already in place. Maybe putting more emphasis on it. Jessy Jones said anyone who is verified on onlyfans will be fine. Its really for those who arent verified. So right now most are freaking out but some are just saying its pretty much going to be the same with maybe a little more emphasis on the rules thus they arent truly banning it.
The big cashcow is gone now, whatever tries to replace it won't have anywhere near the same pull as the OF machine. And personal pornstar websites and the likes of manyvids/clips4sale have always been around and co-existed with the industry, that's not what was gutting the industry like OF.
Great for all the producers, agents and studios who were struggling so much because of that website. I guess not so great for all the pages with the 10 paywalls with false promises and hundreds/thousands of dollars of 'gifts' required for a small resolution 5minute phone video.
I doubt this. It is wishful thinking though, "OnlyFans said said it will provide more guidance on its new policy at a later date." That does not sound good for sex workers. Why wouldn't they issue the new rules so content creators could get their content right before the official changes? It is because issuing this statement will entice investors and banks. It will be investors and banks that guide Onlyfans transition. It won't be what it is now. Investors and banks are not interested in that kind of liability.
Wow this is unexpected. Sure many are thrilled it might mean more girls returning to studio work but there's definitely still a market for amateur shot and personalized content.
ManyVids, IWantClips and Clips4Sale will probably see a surge from creators; the latter being recently acquired by ModelCentro. Are premium Snapchats still a thing?
Opportunity for a new platform to take over.
I remember Gemma Massey helped launch VIPDollz which was like OnlyFans but with certain improvements.
Last I heard it was going to relaunch so wouldn't be surprised if many SW jump ship to that platform.
That's a very good point. I think for the last 5 years most of girls getting into porn had the mindset of building a name for themselves by shooting for mainstream studios then go asap to OF. To each their own i guess but quality wise for the majority it's not even close with some exceptions like Adriana Chechik and Kiana Dior of the top of my head
It's been mentioned already by others but for the girls getting "confirmation" from customer service reps, any message saying nothing has changed is likely false.
Any decision making is way above their pay grade so they've been trained to say safe/generic answers.
It's also possible they haven't been informed yet so wouldn't have a proper answer to give.
Even if they did know, it doesn't benefit them to tell the truth. 1 extra month of income is massive revenue for them. If customer service reps say upfront you're SOL or sorry it's true, then a lot of girls will quit if they aren't starting to already.
From the wording it sounds like nude or partial nude photos and videos will still be acceptable (e.g. Corinna Kopf, Amouranth or Demi Rose) but paying customer wanting clips and photos of actual sex will have to take their money elsewhere. Creators can still remain on the platform but it's foolish to think they will still earn as much as they have up to this point.

This is great for consumers. There was so much nickel and diming that the quality/content to price ratio was starting to look unappealing after one subs to multiple creators.
Agents, directors, and studios must be rejoicing now. While existing stars who may have turned their backs on the industry given their bad experience, at least it opens up the avenue for more new amateurs who now don't have the OF platform to dip their toes into adult work.
I hate to say it...nah I actually don't but I called it...

Very rough scene for Brazzers. Are there any such rough scenes in Brazzers? Nowadays Brazzers has gone way too soft and vanilla

I am not a member so I do not know for sure, but a few years ago they removed one of their rougher network sites "Pornstars Punishment," which included the full-length version of The Slutmother.
To me, the Glory Days of Brazzers were around 2009-2012, as they upgraded from 480p to 1080p video at up to 12000 kb/s and interesting introductory story lines. I didn't sample everything, but I thought Kelly Divine's scenes were amazing. One of her 12K scenes was over 6 GB. There were eventually 30 of her scenes available, now reduced to 14. Recent posters are saying that the visual quality of the Brazzer scenes has dropped considerably.
There is a similar dumbing down with Tablets. Several years ago, I bought a 7" tablet with Full HD for about $70, and now most tablets of this size tend to be 1024 x 600.

Towards the end of the year there will be new platforms respectively there are still platforms like manyvids, clips4sale etc. The times of the big studios is unfortunately over IMO.
Thee only thing is that what is really happening is that Mastercard and eventually Visa are not on board with the porn community and are putting pressure on banks. This will affect any site. Its like what happened about 10 years ago to ccbill and the individual porn websites. The lucrative portion without a lot of effort of the online porn game is not going to last.
