Sure, I know this is a good natured comment, facetious and in a context that very obviously expresses the opposite of its literal meaning. But it reminded me of Nazi Germany's eugenics obsession, when huge bureaucracies were set up requiring people to prove by genealogy and absurdities like nose measurements that they had no Jewish blood. Today some still use terms like mulatto, quadroon, and octoroon to quantify the degree of one's racial mixture. Even African Americans call or called racially mixed blacks 'zebras' and some blacks I have known consider themselves superior and brag for having no white blood in them. Such obsession with artificial concepts like bloodlines and physical features illustrate how irrational people can be about racism on all sides of the issue, and why all over the world, not just here in the U.S. racism continues in spite of being popularly condemned.

GGG/G3, I'd like to get your opinion on this behavior, as I'm still relatively new here. Please pardon any repetition/ignorance of any previously cited sentiments if there's any similarities. Besides the belligerence motive, I really think that a majority of these guys who continually harass performers to do IR, are probably controlling in their nature and somehow think these tactics will influence these performers to perform and conform to their sexual desires. Also I find it funny how many of these people often claim they are not attracted to the performer they harass, yet demonstrate knowledge of the performer's professional history (i.e., filmography) and personal details. Do I have a semi-lucid picture or do you disagree? Thanks.

The reason why people get emotional over skin tone is because it is something they cannot change. If I am a black guy fantasizing about you while watching a scene, I can't get past the fact that I am black. If I am a fat, hairy white guy I can at least pretend that I have lost weight and shaved my body to appeal to you. There is a rationalization, however far-fetched, that sex with you is possible if I just make "xxxx" changes. I actually wanted to post a remark on another thread a while ago, but realized that it could be interpreted as an insult to some potential readers, so I restrained myself (as Flash conveyed in his recent reminder). Nevertheless, I'm sure I made my share of unintentionally insulting comments, but I digress. I am surprised that there isn't a popular on-going thread addressing this topic. I've seen some responses in some heated threads on ADT, where people resort to the "well this is just a porn forum". Personally, I don't think these statements should be banned, but I think strong criticism is definitely an appropriate response as there's a lot of this Puritanical shame solely for being a member of ADT (also hugely hypocritical). There's no question that porn consumption is healthy and provides rare healthy outlets for many people. IMO, it should not be surprising that this forum has some of the most thought provoking, intellectually stimulating, and creative writing/debates/discussion anywhere. Personally I haven't seen so many quality/creative discussions like these even in some environments where this behavior/talk is condoned, expected, and encouraged including many of my classes. After all, porn is just a popular media segment targeted towards public consumption. Therefore, porn fans just represent a cross section of our societies, especially as porn becomes more acceptable and mainstream as the porn consumer base increases.
