Well, it is a way for the performer to push themselves to new levels of nastiness and maintaining some relevance in the porn world. I disagree, although I am all for being creative and I especially agree that 99% of mainstream porn is stale and boring, I don't equate an alternative to many of the practices in question, especially in mainstream porn. Personally, I think the porn industry still over-relies and embraces the extreme/shock business model, where the crazier acts the better. After reading ADT for a little bit, I am glad to see there are others who are bored with mainstream porn, want better porn (quality, creative, non-boring, etc. etc.), but don't think the ever increasing inclusion of extreme/shock porn in mainstream is the answer. I know this sounds counter-intuitive, but extreme/shock can be overdone, because the more it is overused/relied on, the more the products get away from the nature of the act and turns into a pissing contests. Fallout is inevitable as this model is used more and more in mainstream.I understand there is demand for this stuff and the resulting associated lines/series that cater to this, but there has been a rapid influx of this stuff in mainstream.
