And, OK, a short period of viewing hot looking pornstars before the sex commences is always nice. Now the following might seem to contradict what I just said, but really doesn't. While I'd prefer to dispense with any actual storyline or plot in my porn, I think a very brief situation, acted out halfway decently can make the sex scene that it leads into, even hotter. I'm big on girl/girl scenes, and I really like it if, for example, 2 girls are shown sitting there talking and one says something like how she has always admired how pretty the other girl is, while at the same time she's playing with the other girl's long hair. This of course might lead to the first girl then putting her hand on the thigh of the other girl, or even just kissing her. We can all imagine where things escalate from there. Guess what I've tried to convey in too many words is that rather than have an actual plot or story in a porno, I'd much rather just see some halfway believable seduction situations portrayed, so that the sex scenes haven't begun with the participants already in the middle of sex. Really prefer a few minutes of lead-up, before it's off with the clothes. So in a nutshell: Situations with a little logic about why the participants are about to have sex, not Plot is what I want in my porn. BTW, a favorite seduction situation of mine, for example, is where a hot girl has muscles strained from a workout, and asks her pretty friend to massage her with oil, unaware that her friend secretly lusts after her. Now that's not really a plot, but it sure is a helluva situation to get to see, at least in my book. Also wanted to demonstrate how you can tell that most people don't really care about the plots that are included in story based pornos. If you guys are like my friends and myself, your method of watching a non-porn movie is totally different from the way you watch a porn movie that has a story. If you put a DVD of a non-porn movie, that you've never seen, into your player, you are generally going to watch it to the end, with no fast forwarding, because even if the movie gets slow, you're wondering if something unexpected may occur in the next minute. Contrast the previous with the way most of us watch a porno. The story had better move really quick, because rather than sit there enduring aimless dialogue, or anything resembling a slow pace, we'll just be hitting that fast forward button to reach the next fuck scene. After all, probably put the DVD in the player, in the first place because of being after some "relief", so a fuck scene is just what the Dr. ordered. Yeah, I can't say for sure what most ADT members do, but when I'm watching a regular non-porn flick, I never hit that fast forward button. [Link]

I imagine that most (if not all) porn being offered by hotels (especially a decade ago) is story based so as to not make these establishments seem too sleazy, to average people. Anyway, considering the length of the typical porn sex scene, a 12 minute viewing session sure didn't give these guys (most of whom were businessmen) very much time to consider any of a flick's plot elements.
