I never liked the guy - he struck me as creepy, smug, and at times manic. Then, a performer told me stories about him for an hour that left me confident that my feelings toward him were justified. And now this. A lot will come out of the woodwork, I think.
17 feb 2015 What did James Deen reply ? Other than twitter complaints were any official police complaints made , and if so what has been the result of the police investigations ?
Oh, and also there were not just twitter complaints. There were in-person conversations and I read some comments back in the day, posted anonymously on articles about him. Seems to be one of those open secrets, judging by the tweets I posted above and other mentions in the coverage. Edited by - Gore Gore Girl on 11/28/2015 5:05:02 PM
Yeah, Deen has always given me a creepy/sociopath vibe., so I'm not surprised one bit. But I'm glad she's speaking up about it. It's already hard for women to be believed by society regarding rape, And even doubly hard if you're a sex worker unfortunately, but hopefully the porn industry will wake up. So we have unsubstantiated twitter allegations , anonymous articles and open secrets. You may be right in your suspicions , no smoke without fire etc etc but if we give creedence to every unsubstantiated accusation then we are unconditionally giving people the right to destroy any other persons reputation at the drop of a twitter posting. Why didnt she file police complaint if she was raped ?
I certainly never had any idea that he was that bad, but I picked up enough vague awareness about his character four, five, six years ago or so that his boy-man persona on social media became a lot less funny to me, and when I heard that he was going out with Stoya, my reaction at that time was something like "Stoya's going out with James Deen? I thought she had better taste than that." Let me reiterate, that was my reaction at that time. I'm not suggesting in any way that Stoya is in any way at fault, or should have known better, or anything like that. I thought he was "just" a serial cheater who basically wanted to be as promiscuous off camera as he was on camera, which caused problems if his girlfriend was less devoted to the swinger lifestyle than he was, because he wasn't going to change.
^^ It would take too long to explain to you the various reasons women and men do not report sexual assault. I suspect you already know the answer anyway. But yeah, innocent until proven guilty. I take multiple accusations seriously, though. Edited by - Gore Gore Girl on 11/28/2015 5:35:34 PM
There are a myriad of reasons women don't report rape. But as the post above stated, it's far too detailed to go into it. Just google scholarly articles on rape and you'll understand.

@GGG If i understand correctly the intent here isnt to prove him guilty it is rather to besmirch his reputation. Which is great if your right but not so good if your wrong. Multiple accusations ? Who else has accused JD of rape ?
And now we have the typical pattern emerge. One woman comes forward about a man who raped her, which inspires others to do the same, then the defenders come out of the woodwork to discredit them and ask why nothing was reported to the police. I guess the adult industry is not immune to this cycle. Looks like James Deen is the Bill Cosby of Porn.
^ Precisely. Edited to add that actually, Tori Lux came forward in January. So, the Bill Cosby analogy is even more appropriate. Edited by - Gore Gore Girl on 11/28/2015 5:57:22 PM

And there above is stated the case for the prosecution that no-one should have the gaul to question the accusations , ask for proof or question the matter at all. Let anyone who queries the accusations of rape be denounced as a defender of rape. if only the justice system worked thay way , lol. - edited for spelling. I saw the original post in the Stoya thread. I tend to trust Stoya more than James Deen, but since I have never met either of them, I was ready to say, "I don't know what really happened." While it's still true that I don't know if the allegations have any merit, the fact that so many women are coming out is certainly a sign of a big problem. In particular, I think of Joanna Angel as a trustworthy source.
Depressing. Of course, I would like to hear the statement of Deen, and in particular of people who know him a long time, too, e.g. Danny Wylde, Shay Ryan etc. Kayden Kross works with Stoya and is a longtime friend, but until recently e.g. Manuel Ferrara, her husband, has still worked for James Deen, so was that not known to him/her? Why did Dana Vespoli still shoot with him, if she knew about this or thought it possible? But absolutely, the more witnesses come forward, the more believable it is. Dollie Darko believes it. Arabelle Raphael believes it. Rizzo Ford believes it. But true, she doesn't explicitly say that it happened to her personally. [Edit]: Okay, the Tumblr post seems to imply it indeed. from JB_X referenced page : "I learned very early on after entering the industry just how much of an abusive piece of shit he is." Wether that implies a first hand experience of rape is questionable.
^^ Not ideal, no. But the conditions are not ideal. If a person discloses their sexual assault to you, and say they do not want to report it (for reasons that I personally fully understand considering the far from ideal society and justice system we live in), are you saying that one should report it anyway? Against their wishes? Edited by - Gore Gore Girl on 11/28/2015 6:41:54 PM
^ Then you are probably in a situation where no good choice exists. And you will be guilty of doing something wrong whatever you do. I can certainly understand that in such a situation you choose to not be disloyal to the person who trusted you with her story and who you know.

tweet 1 - are we conjecturing that porn producers permit the rape of their female performers for the sake of monetary interests ? Thats a big claim. Tweet 2 - Insinuation but saying nothing.
Considering how easily John Stagliano got away with the Sheena Shaw situation, it seems obvious to me how powerful men in this business can't be brought to justice(IF these accusations are true). Deen also has another thing in common with the former which will help him out in this type of situation, but I won't mention what that is because I'd get banned.
Interviews and such, mostly. Persona, yes. I sense you're suggesting I drew extreme conclusions based on what may well be/have been a crafted performance. I do understand how art works, though, don't worry. I was merely saying I found him off putting and that a performer told me some things that corroborated the icky feeling.

Can you give links to where Tori Lux makes rape claims against JD ? Thanks.
I'm not suggesting anything about your conclusions. I wanted to ascertain the bases of your analysis whether hearsay or personal observation of video/online persona. I have met the both of them many times and have no interest in contributing to this trial by message board beyond saying this situation saddens me.
To add to everything else said in this thread, another reason that someone wouldn't report something like this to the police is because, from the implications of the use of safe words, it would mean that she possibly entered the sexual situation willingly, and then wasn't allowed out of it when asked. Which is probably the hardest type of rape to prove and to prosecute (because it literally just becomes your word against theirs). The amount of high profile female performers coming out now suggests that this is a long time coming (and truthfully, I'd heard vague stories like this years ago, and I'm not connected to anyone in the industry), and it probably signals the end of his career as a high end performer (he might still be able to shoot girls for his site, but I don't see how any high profile directors can get away with hiring him in the immediate future).
Rape is a very serious accusation, and the person making the claim has almost as much of a chance of being vilified as the person they are accusing, whether true or not. So I don't think someone of Stoya's stature would just make this up, what would she have to gain? And it would be quite a conspiracy to coordinate this to the extent to have other women support her by also making false claims. No police report has been filed, so the justice system is not yet involved, so let's not pretend that they are. I also don't see people coming out and saying Stoya has a history of being a liar and vindictive. The fact is this happens way too often where it just takes 1 person to come forward, and it ends up being they were not the only victim.
Never cared for his on screen antics, always found a way to make the scene about himself. I haven't seen too many of his scenes lately since i stopped watching anything he was in, but I seem to remember a scene a long time time ago where the director and the female talent "jokingly" referred to him as being a woman hater. Honestly that's a bit how he seemed to come across to me in the scene as well, and that contributed to me purposefully avoiding his scenes. Obviously I am just a viewer and of course he is innocent until proven guilty , but I'll just say the allegations don't surprise me.
^Hold your balls before going that far. But I think it is weird. Not going to the police for the reasons mentioned is one thing. But if you're raped by him then why keep a bunch of scenes with him in it on your website including one that is on the front page right now(With Dana and James). That goes for Dana Vespoli too who correct me if I'm wrong showed support to Stoya's rape claims. Edited by - 2bollocks on 11/28/2015 8:55:21 PM
^Purely practical, it is very possible that Stoya and Kayden are not handling the tech for their site themselves and it is weekend, maybe the techie is unavailable to take it down right now. Jacco
Damn...this is fucked up. I was a fan of his earlier scenes, but lost interest once he started the whole hard slapping and degrading dirty talk.

You only have to look as far as that asswipe War Machines defense team as to why Stoya would just want this to go away. Sadly, the "she has sex for money, she always wants it/it doesn't bother her" defense is likely to never go away. I now have to go through 3gb of porn and delete every scene he's in. I wonder if he took lessons from Jack Venice. Silicone Is Evil, Razors Aren't Much Better
If this is true and he's been doing this for years...that's bad and horrible enough. People in porn knowing about it, doing fuck all about it and kept booking him for scenes...that's pretty fucked up too. Edited by - MorganKane on 11/28/2015 9:49:20 PM
