What proof do you require at this point? If something happens between the two of them, and there is no one or no media to have observed it, what can you do? You can throw out that line if it is one or two people; it takes an incredible stretch to think 8+ are all making it up. Is this all a mass conspiracy?
Attitudes like yours are why the vast majority of victims never ever come forward. Which then leads people to say 'oh, if she was truthful, she should have come forward at the time"... blah blah blah.

Why do people keep bringing up the amount of accusations like the only two choices are that all of them are lying or none of them are? Because there's a really, really good chance that some of them are lying and some of them are not.

Attitude like yours might also lead people taking rape accusations less seriously.
Of the 8, how may were rape ?

Some people (like you) will take most accusations less seriously because of the inherent bias and your liking for the 'performances' that the accused put up which you enjoyed, no amount of evidence is going to satisfy you. This is now more or less a political discussion, people don't change their mind about their politics after a debate and the same is happening here.

If we're going to entertain every possibility, no matter how unlikely, let's not forget Option 5. None of this is real and we're all stuck in The Matrix.

Maybe explain yourself better.
By the way, I'm still waiting for your examples of biased laws that create an incentive for women to falsely allege sexual assault as a means of personal gain. So far all you've managed to come up with is some policy (not laws) at a liberal arts school that to the best of my knowledge neither Deen, nor Stoya ever attended and resulted in no personal gain for the accuser.

Technically, if there are eight accusers, there are 254 possible options in between the two extremes. I think we might be at like 10 now, though, so 1022 options.

^ Well if you really want to split hairs, there are over a million possibilities with 10 accusers. (65,000 for 8)
Any of the 10 could be 1) telling the truth 2) completely fabricating the story 3) exaggerating real events 4) understating real events. 4^10-2 > 1,000,000
At this point, I'm inclined to think that between the accusers there is probably at least one in each of those categories.

yes. and it's clear, from the multiple people coming forward, that he does not understand or have that type of sensitivity. Even if no one had said rape in regards to him, the other people who have come forward and or corroborated stories about him, prove this to be the case. This is not to say that he definitely raped the women, as these things aren't necessarily connected. Though I believe he did that as well.

most of these dudes will never believe. I'd suggest some of them don't like (or at the least, don't trust) women.
They won't believe until Deen admits it himself, which he will never do. There could be video, DNA evidence, 48 witnesses...

Given the posting history in female performer threads of some of his big-time defenders here, I'm certainly inclined to the same conclusion. (Of course, some others don't have any posting history to speak of outside this thread, which is curious in its own way.)

It would be quite incredible that a bunch of unrelated women, whose only connection is they currently or previously performed in the porn industry would suddenly just decide to get together to throw rape, sexual assault & violence allegations against one male performer. Deen basically got a soft soap interview with a former porn actress who worked with him multiple times, although every picture that was put on the page makes him look creepy as hell.
In the words of Vince McMahon Deen screwed Deen-afraid it is just too many names for it to be anything other than a display of consistent behaviour-while it was his two former partners making allegations you could put it down to sour grapes, when you have somebody who is his friend saying stuff about him, two huge names like Ashley Fires & Britney Amber who have zero reason to say anything & a host of others speaking out it becomes pointless trying to defend him.

I did apply the analogy you pointed out to the current situation.
You suggested that a person who was taking rape accusations seriously was a part of the reason that people don't take rape accusations seriously. If you're fuzzy on that part, scroll up. It's there to read. However when pressed to explain your line of thinking, you refused to do so which is a pretty clear pattern since you started posting in this thread. And that's cool. You don't have to. It just kinda undermines every point you're trying to make.

Those of you bickering back and forth sound ridiculous. You have an audience of thousands. If you want a private argument do it via private message. No one looks smarter in an internet battle.
This whole situation has brought to light what may be a serious problem in the industry (not the private life abuse/rape questions but performer safety on set.) I'm sad for all the people involved and the industry as a whole. It's hard to stand up for porn at the moment...

It would be wrong to stand up for porn in its present form for as long as there is no reform.
Reform is the key to resolving this whole situation. Because this isn't just a problem of one individual. This is a systemic problem. Because other people on the set saw what was going on, and they didn't do anything about it. Which means that the whole system for making a porn-scene failed there.
The big problem with this whole situation is that there aren't any independent witnesses in a porn scene. If the scene is directed and controlled by unsympathetic men, and the woman is there alone, then it's her word against the words of many. She might even feel free to complain to the police in such a situation.
But with today's technology, it's not that hard to get a lot of independent witnesses and have a complete video record of what happens. All they need to do is install surveillance cameras that cover the whole scene and connect the video feed to the internet as a cam-view for porn-fans to watch as the scene is being made.
The quality of surveillance video isn't good enough to substitute for the final video. And a lot of it will be boring too, because it will be unedited. But enough porn-fans will probably watch it live to be witnesses of what happens there.
Some studies have shown, that people are on their best behavior, when they know that independent witnesses are watching them. And a live feed like this would be accessible to everyone, including feminists, who definitely would be looking for any hint misbehavior from the fucking guy. A fucking guy in this situation probably won't even be able to have an erection, unless he feels the support and the approval of his female audience watching him on the surveillance webcam.

Stoya, Joanna Angel, Kora Peters, Tori Lux, Nikki Blue, Amber Rayne, Ashley Fires, Britney Amber, Miss Genocide, Farrah Abraham & TM. I know Abraham has little if any credibility though-she claimed she was getting drugged & raped at strip clubs she was touring off the back of that film, said the tape was a stolen sex tape etc.

As far as I know, there weren't any women accusing Max Hardcore of raping them.
It was the government who accused Max Hardcore of producing obscene films. And that's what he went to jail for.
In his case, it was the government who was complaining to the judge and the jury, and not any women.

Farrah Abraham has no credibility when it comes to her and James. None. I don't think she's told the truth about her tape even once yet. So nope, she doesn't count.

Whenever credibility is an issue, then you need independent witnesses and a video record too.
Porn-studios should have surveillance cameras running for the duration of their scene-making. And these surveillance cameras should have an audio record too. Because this way the woman can say what her 'safe-word' is at the beginning of the surveillance video, and then she can use this word during the film-making, whenever she wants.
If these surveillance cameras are connected live to the internet with an audio feed, then you'll have so many independent witnesses that it won't be funny. And it will be a permanent record of what happens there too.
It's a similar situation to that of police shootings and accusations of police brutality. Many police forces are getting their police officers to wear body cameras. And in porn, this is even easier to do. Because you can just have surveillance cams mounted in the filming room. And they can rely on porn fans to record and store the video feed for a permanent record. Which would cut their costs for storing the surveillance video.

Clever misdirection to diminish the credibility of said accusers?

I see where your coming from about Farrah Abraham , however i would just say that no rape allegations deserve to be peremptorily dismissed out of hand. All rape allegations warrant investigation no matter how despised the alleged victim is or how admired , wealthy or powerful the accused is. All rape allegations warrant investigation and should be judged dispassionately on their merit.
Re - pervybrits list - i see (and agree) that you have not included Bonnie Rotten in your list as iirc that amounted to ostensibly a personality clash.

I appreciate what you are saying. However, in regards to the point in bold, let us not forget that only one male performer--James Deen--has been twitter-accused of serious wrongdoing here.
Derrick Pierce has performed as a dom in scenes that closely resemble those Deen has performed. Not only has Derrick corroborated Lily LaBeau's account, but Chanta-Rose has had the following to say about Derrick as a dom in rough sex scenes:
[url=124216]
There are bad male performers and there are good male performers. There are performers who will make any shit up to start a flame war (as anyone who saw Luke Ford's second website before he sold it and as anyone who followed performers on Myspace/Facebook/Twitter in the pre-Measure B era will remember), and there are thoroughly professional performers who do not engage in this kind of shit in public at all.
If we were to condemn any other demographic as a whole for the actions of some, even several, of its members, we would be rightfully condemned as bigots. Adult industry performers/other workers constitute a demographic, perhaps even the most persecuted demographic in America since both right and left want to destroy them.
I refuse to condemn and withdraw my support from an industry/demographic simply because a subset, however large it may seem, of that industry/demographic is currently embroiled in a highly public case of twitter/other social media/Court of the Internet-alleged wrongdoing.

I've talked to a couple of lawyer friends, and everything he said was coached so that it deflected attention away from him without actually admitting innocence or guilt. Notice that in the one case where he thought he was innocent (Tori Lux), he firmly stated, "That didn't happen." If he actually thought he was on clear ground for all of the others, he would have said so.

^^One male performer has been accused by name, but meanwhile we've seen the very experienced Casey Calvert alleging "that ostracizing every male performer who’s crossed the line with a female performer would lead to a business with no male talent."

I do not believe that this is universally the case. Derrick Pierce, as a director, repeatedly warned Deen:
As well, as mentioned above, on the BTS for the first shoot day of Upload, an overeager male performer was literally chasing BTS camera operator Kylie Ireland around with a hard-on. Eli Cross swiftly moved in, smacked said overeager male performer hard right on said overeager male performer's hard-on and then admonished said overeager male performer "Be good!" Aiden Starr was present in that BTS segment. Aiden Starr is not shy about dishing out physical remonstrations to male performers. In this BTS segment, however, after Eli smacked the overeager male performer right on the hard-on, Aiden's face was frozen with an awkward smile and wide-WIDE eyes. Someone off-camera commented about Eli's action "That was harsh!" Aiden, unable to speak in her shock, merely nodded up and down.
Also, I can't find it at the moment, but I believe the Gram Ponante set review for The 8th Day mentioned that male extras were hassling Amber Rayne--which led to them being immediately booted off the set by Eli Cross.

I respect Casey Calvert, but, as per IAFD, she has only been in the business since 2012, so "very" experienced may not be the best way to describe her. Specifically, again as per IAFD, Casey has worked with only 62 male partners, versus 187 (>3x as much) for Amber Rayne, who specifically tweeted that she does not view Deen as a bad person...just as Casey said she supports Deen herself.
As for her statement "ostracizing every male performer who’s crossed the line with a female performer would lead to a business with no male talent," Casey did not define precisely what constitutes "crossing the line," as in does she mean "crossing the line only once in the entirety of their careers and then they never ever did it again, having learned their lesson," or "crossing the line on a serial basis."
