^^Do you have a link to Bree's quote or can you perhaps copy and paste what she said? The best pornstars have "chemistry" with most everyone because they are great performers. Porn scenes are performances, which isn't to say that the pornstars aren't enjoying themselves, but whether they are or not if they are masters of their craft we will always think that they're having a great time.
Uh? Bree begun to do IR very early in her career ,she didn't have to especially in her time , especially those in demand , less of all those in demand who also are anal stars. Yet she did a shitload of IR scenes.

^Do you have a link or an excerpt? I'm not implying that you're misrepresenting what she said, but I'd like to read her actual words. Either way she shot some great IR scenes. Watching her scene in Manaconda 2 never fails to brighten my day.
My point exactly. I'm saying it's a "huge" deal because the porn industry has conditioned us to see it that way, it wasn't the fans that made a white woman having sex with a black man a big deal it was the industry.

^If I understand it correctly, the counter-argument that's been expressed here is that porn consumers made IR a thing by purchasing so much of it, but to my mind there's quite a leap from simple supply and demand to "first IR" being treated as event porn.
The "First IR" thing came about because the fans made IR such a big deal and a better seller. If fans are directly telling studios/directors/girls they want to see "fill in the blank" do IR then of course when the director finally makes it happen they are going to make it an "event" or at least state it's a first on their boxcover. Doing so clearly makes the scene/movie sell better in some cases and as a result it's just become a standard in porn. But it all goes back to it becoming that way from fan demand. fan demand in the form of requests and incresed sales. When these things are announced it's the fans that make it a big deal and talk about it. The directors simply put out advance images and that's it. They do this with all their new releases but yet it's the first IR that some fans seem to make a bigger deal about. It's not like most porn directors are doing doing anything really special to promote first IR other than mentioning it on the cover. If we were to follow the logic of what some are presenting here a porn studio could make anything an event by just making a big deal out of it or promoting it more. Clearly that isn't the case because fans will only buy/watch what they like/desire. If Gonzo studios decided to try and make more vanilla porn the next big thing it wouldn't work because most fans have no desire to see that no matter how hard studios push it. Why? Because the fans really dictate what become popular in porn.
^You don't get what we're saying. You keep talking about fans buying it is what makes it a big deal and I'm saying that if the porn industry for the better part of 40 years didn't make a white woman have sex with a black man a taboo subject it wouldn't matter to the fans.

^^If I read you correctly Draxxx, your sequence of events is as follows: 1. The fans made IR a big deal 2. The fans made IR a better seller 3. The "First IR" thing came about Now, another possible sequence is: 1. Fans made IR a better seller. 2. The industry in turn made IR a big deal. 3. The "First IR" thing came about and along with it IR "watchdogs." You wrote "When these things are announced it's the fans that make it a big deal and talk about it." Maybe I should revise the sequence: 1. Fans made IR a better seller. 2. The industry in turn made IR a big deal by announcing "first IR." 3. Announcements of "first IR" resulted in greater scrutiny of pornstars who had not shot their "first IR." 4. That greater scrutiny created in IR watchdogs, pornstars being harassed about IR, etc. Like I wrote earlier, it really is a chicken or the egg question, and all I can do is speculate. It does seem to me that the industry is at least as culpable as the fans, though not necessarily more so. EDIT: I forgot to add that pornstars who hold off on IR because "It's stupid to do IR in your first year" reinforce the idea that IR is a big deal, and in the case of some pornstars the biggest deal of them all. Uh, I don't think it's a stretch to say that our society, American society at least, made "white woman with black man" a taboo subject a long time ago. And despite the progress made in race relations in recent times, it's still a taboo subject for a large segment of America.
There are some things to be considered. the way a see it some are mixing marketing oneself with racial views, if the stars sees sex with a black man as something extreme thus wants to be paid more then it's definitely wrong. However on a marketing it's different and it's not even true that it is always an "event" , if Mary Unknown wants to charge more for IR they'd laugh at her , if Vera Famous goes black then she'd be offered more for that. Is really IR the big deal there or is there something more? Like the more money earned from it? Also what is the big deal with B/G ? Yet some formerly G/G only performers go B/G and this "first" is marketed no differently than IR, it is an event , the girl charges more , people would buy such first even those who didn't pay attention to her , just out of curiosity. Anal is marketed the same way. But some don't get the similarity with anal and only get upset as if IR was an extreme act or out of ordinary like Anal , but actually on a marketing level they're just the same. So I compared IR to first BG , nobody could reasonably say that fucking a man is an "extreme act" , yet first BG are marketed and sold very much like IR is Nobody is upset , or better there are some "pure lesbian" fanatics who are . The market for first BG is not as big as that for IR , also I don't think the stars would charge more for their other IR scenes only for the first one. Also those with a fetish see things in a different ways , for example Valentina Nappi did three anal scenes with Danny D and nobody gave a fuck to this , she did a scene with Mandingo and many can't wait to see that and want to know if it's anal , well she certainly can handle him everywhere she already proved it. So why all the fuss about it? (I'm actually a lot more intrigued by the presence of Katarina Kay in there I mean she's very petite and slim, but I'm digressing) Even Aria Alexander a girl who said she chose a black man to "do it" for the very first time and certainly has no problem with IR couldn't escape from being marketed as "first IR". Even Alexis Ford a known so called real life black lover has been marketed as such and very likely paid more than the usual for it (well in her Darkside she performed with Lex and did another IR scene with Mandingo) Bottom line market and racial issues are different matters

^The problem with comparing first B/G to first IR is that a scene with one white woman and one black man having vaginal sex is actually just another B/G scene, while a G/G scene and a B/G scene are two different things entirely. Edited by - misspornUSA on 5/16/2015 12:12:17 AM
^ The real problem is that too many people is focused on the race of those involved and almost all those who complain are concerned only for those who don't do Ir or just didn't soon enough , basically the day before they're asked about it. I'm beginning to think there's a question in the form to fill to do lingerie photo-shoots? When will you do IR ? And none of them is going to support the choices of those who actually didn't make a difference a probably didn't get more money for that. There's a great deal of new starlets who begun their career right with IR , there's no support for them , go to Blacked Thread , they keep requesting for new or old stars at their first IR, they also complain for stars who appear twice or more and call them " a rethread" , they almost refuse those who already did IR before

^I agree with you that pornstars who shoot IR early in their career often don't get as much as attention as they should. Jenna Justine's first b/g was an IR scene. Where's her well deserved IR fandom? On the other hand, of course there's going to be a focus on bigger pornstars because there's more focus on them in general. It's not as if IR watchdogs are the only porn fans whose focus is on a Carter Cruise or whoever else is an it girl at the time. Furthermore, top pornstars who hold off on IR are setting a precedent while unknowns cannot. The complaints about Blacked shooting the same pornstars more than once are less about IR and more about Blacked shooting the same pornstars more than once. Lex has been criticized for years for the same thing. If Blacked released as many scenes per week as Brazzers does there would probably be less complaints about repeats. Personally it's not a problem that I have with Blacked (or Lex, who imo should have Phoenix Marie in every other movie) and I get tired of the whining, but I understand it.

^ Well LCF and misspornUSA Jade Stevens, Anikka Albrite and Nina Harley who 1st ever porn scene was an IR don't agree with you. They didn't need a bigger pay day anyway, and still are popular. But not everyone who shoot IR from the begin of there career aren't favorite of an girls shooting there 1st IR for a big pay day. Krissy Lynn said it from this tweet
Now most of you won't agree on her but she is right, and I do agree with her.

^I wrote: "pornstars who shoot IR early in their career often don't get as much as attention as they should." (emphasis added) I don't see any evidence that the pornstars you listed disagree with that or that their success disproves it. I did not write "never."
Society as a whole made sex between a black male and a white woman taboo since the beginning. That's exactly why it matters to some fans and why it's still a big deal to so many of them because a lot of fans still see it as something taboo. For some of those fans the whole taboo aspect is what turns them on. A white guy can pound away at a white girl all day and it's no big deal but when a black guys does it to a white girl it becomes something else. Which is why titles that emphasizes big black males on white girls usually are bigger sellers. To say the porn industry made IR "taboo" and that it doesn't matter to fans just doesn't hold water. The multiple threads that get started on these boards about IR and sometimes heated discussions proves it means a lot to fans. The industry didn't make IR "taboo". Again, it was a reflection of the porn audience. Earlier in porn's history (as well as America's) there were a lot of whites who didn't want to see white women with black men. I don't think that's a secret. So, porn showing IR wasn't a big seller or in high demand in those days and was seen as a niche kind of thing. Back then when people say doing IR could hurt a girl's career there was some truth to it. Perhaps she was still a popular pornstar but she probably got hate mail and it turned her off to a certain segment of her fanbase and it probably affected her earnings on the dance club circuit. This probably didn't happen to every girl that did IR back then but it happened enough to aknowledge that it could be a concern. Times were different back then. More people were more racist back then. Porn reflected that Flash foward years later and IR porn where a large part of the audience has a desire to see big black men ravish poor little white girls. Porn didn't invent this fetish and feed it to the audience. It was something the audience wanted from porn...and porn gave it to them. Just like with the rise of more anal, more gangbangs, more hardcore sex. Porn reacts and reflects on what fans want (what sells). Fans drive what is made is made and what is popular by way of sales. IR wasn't as popular back in the day because attitudes were different and the audience wanting IR wasn't as big. The taboo aspect of the industrywas a reflection of a part (perhaps not a sizable part but big enough to make a difference) of the audience not wanting IR. Today, IR porn has a sizable audience...so more of it is made. There are still agents/agencies who hold on to the old way of thinking but I don't think they're the norm anymore. Girls who don't want to do IR because of family or boyfriend issues isn't a reflection of the industry. The industry can't force them to do it if they don't want to. The industry want to pay girls more for doing an IR scene. Why would a director want to pay any girl more than they absolutely have to? Because the fans have dictated that if that director gets certain girls to do IR it woud be worth their wild to pay that girl more money and they will in turn sell more product. The girl is made well aware of this fact because of fan reaction because of the amount of IR requests from fans and how others have profited from it before. Not because the industry suddenly decided it should simply pay more to a girl for IR. The "industry" isn't some organization with someone up top making decisions. The actual porn industry is a bunch of different companies making the porn that sells and works best for them. Their output and decisions are made based on fan reaction (sales). So it's not like the porn industry is some unified organization that decides what they want the consumers to have and how they will market it. You're probably saying I still don't get what you're saying but there's my take on it and no one here has offered anything up to make me think otherwise.
How can the industry make anything a "big deal" if the fans didn't support and react to it? Simply putting some sort of labelling on a box or making an announcement doesn't make anthing a big deal if the reaction isn't there. Putting "Glutton-free" on a box doesn't mean anything if the consumers don't care about it. Why is first IR a big deal? Because of the fans reaction. It's the reaction that's the big deal not the label. The label makes you aware but it the reaction itself that makes it a big deal and the reaction comes from the fans. It's not a big deal if you don't care about IR. If a woman goes out to get a new hair-do with the purpose of it being a big deal and no one cares or reacts then it wasn't a big deal even though she tried. If people react accordingly...then it's a big deal. I know you're thinking the "industry" can manufacture a "big deal" but not really if it's not something that fans wanted anyway those kinds of things usually fade fairly fast.
IR was/is already a "big deal" to a sizable chunk of the audience. Announcing it only makes it more visable and shines a spotlight on it for those who were waiting for it and the ones who want to critisize it and for those who want to go on a site and talk about it. Now that "big deal" is focused where as before it was scattered. The scrutiny comes from angry people who've just decided to turn their anger to this. There simply is no sane reason a person should care this much and get angry/annoyed that a woman doesn't do IR. It's obvious a lot of people take this personally. The world has plenty of white women who have no desire to have sex with a black man for whatever reason. Why is it such a hard pill to swallow when it comes to porn? So many of the IR critics have such a simplistic take on "racism". She's racist if she doesn't do IR but if she does it soon enough she's not racist. What the hell kind of thinking is that? It's possible she isn't racist if she hasn't had IR sex and it's possible she could very well be a racist if she has done it. But it's not really about "racism" anyway...it's about I want her to do IR whether she wants to or not and until she does I'm brand her with the most negative words I can come up with.
Yeah, because the fans have shown it's a big deal to them and the girl knows she can work that to her advantage. More power to her. She's just like most businesses and corporations out there....trying to make maxium sales.
I seee this as more about those people overly concerns about seeing more "firsts". BLACKED has kinda set themselves up to be the studio who manages to get girls first IR and when BLACKED starts having girls twice some people see it as BLACKED failing to do what they preceived them to be. You would think everyone's desire with porn would be to see a well done scene even if it's from the same girl.
Maybe this needs to be said...maybe not... Not all girls who do IR get paid more for it. Not all girls who try to get paid more for it get paid more. Not all girls who do get paid more for it get paid a lot more for it. A girl may get paid more for her first IR but not for IR after that. There's no set rule for any of this because it's always a case by case thing. There's no industry standard for this type of thing.

2. (Revised) The industry attempted to make IR into a "big deal" and were successful because of the fan reaction to their efforts.
If by "big deal" you mean that many people enjoyed it and it sold well, sure, but as you know it's now a much bigger deal than just that.
I'm going to again suggest the following theses, which you have in no way refuted: 3. Announcements of "first IR" resulted in greater scrutiny of pornstars who had not shot their "first IR." 4. That greater scrutiny created in IR watchdogs, pornstars being harassed about IR, etc.
What Krissy said. Edited by - misspornUSA on 5/17/2015 11:10:08 AM Edited by - misspornUSA on 5/17/2015 11:23:40 AM
Agree, I'm not really into the whole 'new face' thing. I just want proven talent putting in high quality scenes. Blacked could rotate, Keisha Grey, Annika Albrite, Kendra Lust, Cherie Deville, Shawna Lenee, Riley Reid, and Jillian Janson for two or three weeks straight and I wouldnt complain. In fact I hope they start using more proven faces like Phoenix, London, Casey Calvert, Janet Mason, Jayden James, et. al. You gotta pull em in with big names before sprinkling in the unknown commodities, thats normally how I find new girls anyway. I get a movie for one or two actresses and then end up watching the rest and I may get intrigued by another girl I had no intention of watching.
Also contradicts IAFD , in her profile there's Monster of Cock 18 issued in 2009 , labeled as IR , like all the others of such series it is a compilation of scenes previously released on their website thus it was likely filmed in 2008. What I said came from what was said in one of he many threads she intervened and was followed by those who were picking on her. The post you provided was put here during my three no porn years roughly from 2007 to 2010 (my then GF was a porn hater) my activity here was minimal , I didn't read it , but there's an interesting excerpt :
So if true she actually doesn't belong here , whatever the reasons for the delay she wasn't waiting for a bigger pay day
If it was their first scene they couldn't be popular at the time of shooting ,at least not yet so they couldn't possibly charge more , besides at the times of Nina debut I don't think there was any difference in payments. as for Krissy as a principle of equality she's right, on a market level she's not I'm still waiting for any girl who adamantly refuses the more money she's offered for her first IR because "it ain't right", I'd like a name, just one

^I strongly doubt that any producer actually wants to pay a pornstar more for first IR. If they offer her more money it's because they know that she'll say no otherwise. Apparently Kristina did not regard her MOC scene as IR, regardless of how BangBros later chose to label it. Edited by - misspornUSA on 5/17/2015 3:55:31 PM
^From a business standpoint I'd think it would become a standard thing to pay more. Because why would "pornstar A" (and/or her agent) accept less money when she knows "pornstar B" is getting more money for doing the same thing? Otherwise that'd kinda make "pornstar A" basically a chump.
I agree but still being an IR site this doesn't change what the girls perceive about this, a first IR request, especially on their twitter or other social media, even the simple and seemingly innocent question like: are you going to do IR? or Will you do IR? puts IR on a separate desk because it is treated as such. Anyway what I tried to point out was that if a new starlet does IR from the beginning this may not affect her career but surely won't help either , those self proclaimed IR fans don't help in any way those who actually do what they say should be. Do they ask for more IR of her ? NO do they ask for her in thread, sites, polls whatever? NO Do they encourage or compliment or just follow her on her twitter, thread whatever? NO Now let's see what happens to those who DON'T Do they ask for her? YES , constantly Do they ask for more IR of her? YES constantly everywhere Do they follow her on twitter? Absolutely to harass her if anything , still increasing her numbers though. When it come to the shoot, who do you think would be paid more? The one who proved herself or the one being requested? Here are the results of a poll on blacked thread to request scenes and stars guess who are the top ranking names? Yes you're right those who didn't any and probably wouldn't POLL RESULTS Those relatively new who already did it got only 1 or two votes , and that includes Stoya. OK the poll is twisted some uberfans are voting hundreds of times, but this is not the point , the regular voters are voting and giving contract power to those who didn't and yet the fans still say it's the industry who created this... LMAO
Still nobody ever refused the more money, the same consideration would apply to a star who knows she could get more but doesn't ask for Is there any name?

Now, you and I both know that there are plenty of pornstars who've received a big paycheck for their first IR, but neither of us can be absolutely certain who these pornstars are because they're not going to talk about it. That doesn't change what we know to be true, does it? Or will you now also ask for the names of pornstars who got paid big for first IR? As a side note, I have nothing at all against Kristina Rose and am not criticizing her. She's performed in many of my favorite scenes, Edited by - misspornUSA on 5/17/2015 4:54:55 PM Edited by - misspornUSA on 5/17/2015 5:00:54 PM
It is what is, there was nothing I could say to change your mind and vise versa. No matter the fact that the 3 largest and most famous companies in porn flat out refuse to work with black men, that's the fans doing that. You have your way of think and I have mind.
I'm certain of it, what I meant is that peculiar deals aside (as in to make sure she gets the director she wants) it's unlikely for a star to charge less than she could. I'm not a particular fan of Kristina, and if I was and you want to critisize her, I 'd have no problem with it

^I think you'll find that there aren't many people in the industry who are willing to discuss such a controversial issue in detail.
^^Krissy's tweets weren't primarily about stars getting paid more for first IR. Instead, she mentioned that as one part of a bigger problem which she describes in her last three tweets. I've already said that I'm not against pornstars getting paid more for first IR in and of itself. However, when we look at Krissy's last three tweets we see the context in which some pornstars are paid a high rate for first IR. That larger context is the real issue, and "Waiting to Shoot IR for a Bigger Pay Day" is both an outcome of that problem and a practice which keeps that problem alive. My addendum about Kristina was a clarification for anyone reading. JESUS H CHRIST do you have no understanding of the human psyche at all? It's precisely because it is more taboo in those states that it is most popular there. For the better part of 40 years american porn was giving its straight male viewers a faceful of hairy man ass and moustache cumface as they tried to cater to straight males, gay males and straight females in the same scene. They barely knew what the hell they were doing and even then there was plenty of racist-themed porn. Now they're specializing, trying to appeal to each and every niche, every fetish, every fantasy. You got male stripper porn for a straight male viewer, you got giantess porn, financial dominatrix porn, finger nail porn, porn for people who are afraid of clowns, porn for blind people and even porn for racists(and there's a shitload of those). And calling IR porn racist when there's stuff like dukeshardcorehoneys floating around is akin to calling playboy porn misogynist when you have stuff like psycho-thrillers about: it shows you're too ignorant or too puerile to talk about the subject. This thread's first comment by Jimmy Hooligan should have been enough. ________________________________________________ Please ID these girls from PlayboyTV's Foursome show Edited by - hoochimama on 5/17/2015 10:06:10 PM
I'm not sure exactly what you're getting at here but my take on the more hardcore "IR Watchdogs" is that they'll never be happy and will always find something to complain about. As read some of the comments by some of more hardcore IR people here it's obvious that they've got a chip on their shoulder about race in America and ranting about pornstars is just an excuse to rant about their feelings on the subject. They really have no intention of actually watching the girls they complain about when they finally do IR. Those people are also always quick to dissmiss anyway possible the girl when she finally does IR by saying "she waited too late", "the black guy she banged wasn't black enough...", or "she pick a lame black guy to work with..". Why do they do this? Because there's a part of them that's annoyed that they can't put that girl down and complain about her anymore. With those fans even if 98% of white girls started doing IR they obsess over the 2% that don't. With those fans they demand to why a girl doesn't do IR yet no answer is ever good enough. They never want to see things from the performer's point of view and it's all about what they want from the girl. Those people can't be objective. No middle ground. Everything's black aor white. The evil industry is racist and purposely keeping IR away from fans. The industry is racist and they don't make all women do IR. The women who don't IR are horrible racist people. The women who claim to not do it because of friends and family are weak and racist for not going against her family and giving fans what they want. The women whose career plans don't include IR when I think it should happen have no idea what they're doing and are destroying their career. More nonsense, more nonsense, etc., etc... Of course this doesn't describe all fans of IR but I think it reflects a particular segment of the more hardcore "fan". The next big segment of the the more hardcore fan is a bit more simplistic....they are the "I don't care what the girl wants or what her story is I just want to see her with a big black guy. It's what I want and it's her job to give fans what they want".
I agree with this. If a girl can get more money for first IR, doing IR in general, doing IR anal, working with certain BBC performers, or even kissing a guy...it's prefectly fine with me. Why should I care? The director doesn't pass those extra costs to the consumer. The fact that the girl got more money doesn't affect my opinion or enjoyment of the performance. If it took more money to get a girl to do IR and the person who paid the extra money thinks it was worth it why should I be bothered?

Actually, you seem to disagree with Kevin Moore. You're saying that knowing more about what goes on behind the scenes does not ruin the illusion for you at all, which is the opposite of what Moore wrote.
I was commenting on the fact that on Billy's Twitter account it seems like he is picturing four of the same five guys in most of his BTS pictures and his BTS videos usually show these same guys. I don't have the slightest clue of their names and would have to see a picture to pick them out but I can say I haven't seen them in promotions for any other companies. It is great that Shane Diesel and Rico Strong were able to get work with other companies and widen their fan base but the five guys I am referring to still seemed to be in most of the BTS pics/videos Billy put out the last time I checked. Granted I am not a subscriber to his site, only watch his BTS videos about once a month or so and do not look at his Twitter daily by any means but this is what I have noticed. As for Devil's Film doing thug IR scenes along with DogFart (of which the latter produces at least one thug IR scene a day), two companies can only need about ten guys to be in their scenes. If Vivid, Wicked, Porno Dan, Adam and Eve, Evil Angel, etc. all jump on the thug IR bandwagon it will take 40 guys who look the part to fill the demand. Do you really think directors could find another 30 thug look guys without venturing into gang territory to find them (considering they don't usually hang around the San Fernando Valley)? That is what scares me, these directors will get desperate and take anyone that applies, can pass the VD test (at least that day) and fits the look, if even one or two are actual gang-bangers porn has one hell of a problem with VD and mistreatment of female talent all over the place! The joke that porn men are products of the California penal system that I have heard several times isn't true to this point but if this trend intensifies it may not continue to be just a crass joke and the consequences will be terrifying, making the sword massacre that took place at a studio a few years ago look like child's play when some "thug" performer's rival gang comes to a set and shoots it up!
