While I agree with you that anyone that calls a performer racist based on whether they do IR or not is in the wrong, there's a lot of bad assumptions in your argument, with the biggest one being that fans of IR porn only watch IR porn. Edited by - whatsatelephonebill on 7/6/2015 8:29:26 PM

^ I made no such assumption, nor does my point rely on anything of the sort. On the flip side, you seem to be making the assumption that only segregating some races, some of the time makes it okay.
I'm sure there have been some white girls who've been "bribed" (for lack of a better word). I think there have been girls who had no desire to do IR and their career was doing fine without it and they were content not doing it. Then a director badgered them enough and offered enough money to make them decide to do it. But....SO WHAT? The director got the scene they wanted, the girl got a nice payday, and the fans who wanted to see that girl with a black guy got their wish. Who exactly is the loser in that senario? What horrors happened because of it? Did they set back race relations? Even the people who complain about girls not doing IR were happy because they were able to seamlessy transition from complaining about the girl not doing it to the girl being a horrible person for doing it for more money.
I agree that it's not OK to call a performer a racist because she won't work with black performers but I don't see how you can compare a girl that won't work with black performers to a fan of IR, unless you're saying that IR fans only watch IR porn and there is no way you could possibly know that.
So you think it's OK to call fans racists but not performers?
For your argument that IR fans are segregating based on race to be true, it would have to mean that they only watch IR porn. If they watch all types of porn, but generally prefer IR porn, I don't see how that's treating any type of porn any differently.
I think I see his point there: Which is that neither is okay, but as long as "we're allowing" people to do one we should "be allowed" to do the other as well. Edited by - whatsatelephonebill on 7/6/2015 8:54:07 PM

No, I did not miss your point and no one in this thread has called any girl racist ( If I am wrong, please correct me), and you seem to ignore the part where I said that we should not call a girl racist because she won't do IR. It just seems like you cannot make a difference between IR fans, it is just easier to say they are all the same. I have my views and my rules, it has nothing to do with me considering a girl racist, because I don't know them personally. If a girl that is married to a black guy in real life follow certain porn rules, I will cross her off my list, nothing to do with her being racist. As far as your second statement is concerned, do you really know what segregated means? Segregation does not include the pairing of any two races, it is the separation. And now you wanna tell me that liking a black man having sex with a white, or Asian , or Latin woman is segregation? A segregationist does not even want us drinking from the same water fountain, let alone have sex. Try convincing a white supremacist or black supremacist or any king racial purist that people who like seeing IR porn are segregationist. Maybe you need to come up with another term, but segregation just does not work to define IR porn. The only thing I am wondering is, why is it OK for you to call people racist with impunity when no one else has used the word racist in this thread to describe anybody else.

See above response to the same question.
I think it's okay to call people that exhibit racist behavior racists. I don't think it's okay to call people that don't exhibit racist behavior racists. Fans and performers have nothing to do with it.

Again, no it doesn't. If I'm only in favor of segregating water fountains and bathrooms, but everything else is cool mix and match everyone, then am I being racist or not? Last time I checked, I am. (I'm not for that for the record, it's a hypothetical) Same for porn. If you want some segregated porn that still means you want segregated porn. I will differentiate between people who actively seek out IR porn (those are people I consider to be IR "fans") and people who watch porn and some of it happens to be IR. I have no issue with the latter group.
Yes, and no. I'm not just going to call out a bunch of people for no reason. But once some people insisted on playing the racism card, I think that opens the door to those sort of comments. While I suppose I could have tried to make my point by just saying that only the IR fans who played the race card were being racist, it would be a pretty convoluted argument. And while the sort of racism I'm talking about here is pretty benign on an individual basis (I'm sure most of the IR fans here are pretty good people that wish no harm on other races) the cumulative effect is that we are still labeling nearly everything by color in porn, which I think is a step in the wrong direction. You could of course argue that much like affirmative action (which is also inherently racist) it provides opportunities for people that wouldn't have likely had them if you weren't an IR fan, so the pros outweigh the cons. And that's cool. I'm not suggesting that you should change your preferences, or that your preferences are wrong. Like whatever you want. Fuck whoever you want, and jerkoff to whoever you want. Just take a look in the mirror before you (everyone, not you specifically) start throwing out wild accusations.

The words "racist" and "racism" are used over 200 times in the first 15 pages of this thread. I haven't read every single quote so I'm not positive if a specific performer has been called out by name in this thread as being a racist, but the implication that "dodgers" are racist has been repeated here several times here (including the first page of this thread)
We agree. What more do you want? Shall we argue over a point that we agree upon?
I specifically stated that not all IR fans are racist. It just seems like you want to beat me up for something that you readily admit I didn't say. I also later clarified in the above post that I'm talking about IR fans that specifically seek out IR content as opposed to people who watch porn and some of it happens to contain mixed race pairings. But what I said about IR fans that actively seek out IR content, I will still stand behind.
You seem to be of the mistaken opinion that I think IR fans are racist because they think IR "dodgers" are racist, and that has absolutely nothing to do with it. I don't really care what you're rules are for seeking out IR content. My statement has nothing to do with your particular set of preferences and rules other than you seek out a genre of porn that is entirely based upon segregation (both race and gender)
Yes I do.
Lumping gender segregation in doesn't mean that their isn't racial segregation too.
And now you want to tell me that I can cast a white man having sex with a white or Asian or Latin woman in an IR film? Yes, it is absolutely segregation, the same way "separate but equal" was segregation.
I'm not trying to convince them of anything because they are completely irrational people. That hardly makes them qualified to tell me what the definition of a word is.
seg·re·ga·tion seɡrəˈɡāSH(ə)n/ noun the action or state of setting someone or something apart from other people or things or being set apart. So tell me what role white males (or black females) play in IR porn? The whole point of straight IR porn is to classify, and then separate people by race and gender. (so I guess I do owe an apology to gay IR or lesbian IR fans as it doesn't apply to them)
From my personal POV, what I see as just a normal or a standard scene is guaranteed to be sub filtered as "ebony" and "interracial", which is fine; I do understand that the filtering tags are there to help make it easier for the fans to find the content they're seeking out. But I'll assume here that we both know that the fact these types of scenes are not lumped in with "vanilla" is not the result of fans like you or me actually wanting segregation of content.

There is a movie on the movie page called 'Gangbang her little white thang'. What else can you call it. It is racist with urban slang. Even though it might not be explicit the color-ism in porn is going from the sublime to the subliminal..lol

Perhaps you should re-read the comment I was replying to that started this line of discussion in the first place.
You should also go back and re-read page two of this thread. Plenty of veiled comments about performers being racist, but I guess that's okay because (like me) they didn't call anyone out specifically, right? And I never accused you of calling any performers racist so just drop that nonsense right now.

I see two guys standing on the street in northern California. One guy is wearing a Raiders jersey. Is it reasonable for me to conclude that he likes the Raiders? The other guy is wearing a Golden State Warriors jersey. Is it reasonable of me to assume that he doesn't like the Raiders since he isn't wearing a Raiders jersey? That's the difference between looking at who a performer hasn't worked with and drawing a conclusion based on that, compared to looking at one thing IR fans like and drawing a conclusion based on that. Absence of proof is not proof of absence. That's why the "she's a racist" thing doesn't work for performers. But by seeking out IR porn (which is inherently segregated and discriminatory) you are promoting a form of racism. I'm not suggesting that everything you watch has some racist component to it. I've very clearly stated otherwise so your examples miss the mark entirely. What you're doing is trying to create a false dichotomy. While racism might literally be a black/white issue, it isn't just a matter of being not racist at all, or a card carrying member of the KKK. You're acting like if I say that you like this thing that is a little racist that it means you're the latter. Truth is that racism doesn't work that way (very few things do in fact) and what I'm actually suggesting is that you like this thing that barely moves the racism needle. That makes you a weeeeeee bit racist. Same for other fans of IR that seek out genre. So here's my question: Why the hell do you care what I think? I very clearly stated that what I was saying didn't apply to everyone, but you wanted to pick a fight anyway. It didn't have to apply to you, but you wanted to push the issue until you made it pretty clear that yes you love segregated porn, and yes, you seek out porn where only certain races can play certain parts and yes, what I said did indeed apply to you. Now it's pretty clear that you have no interest in actually addressing what I've said (throwing up straw man after straw man and ignoring the questions I've asked you) or even debating the merits of what I said. Instead you're just going straight to self righteous indignation mode (Kieth Olbermann would be proud) and avoiding any actual meaningful discussion.

I'll say this one more time for everyone in bold so I hopefully don't have to repeat myself again... I was replying to a poster IN THIS THREAD who very clearly suggested that performers who dodge IR are racist. If you want to pretend that "backwards view on race" doesn't mean racist, then pretend away, but I prefer to deal with reality, not play pretend. That said, there are plenty of other instances in this thread where people have suggested that performers who don't do IR are racist. If you want examples, then ask for examples or go read the damn thread again yourself.
Meanwhile Nikki Hearts made a comeback (or so it appears) as a performer only and did an IR scene with Jon Jon for Burning Angel , I don't think she got anything more than her usual rate, it should be noted that she was a g/G performer who did a few B/G last fall , just prior of her retirement. That assuming that she did come back and they're not old scenes never seen before. Nikki Delano after her first with Lex did a scene for Brothalovers with Lowtru aka Michael Williams complete with deep creampie , I don't think she got any extra money from there
MOD: Bring the thread back on topic and stop bickering and accusations or the thread will go away and/or members continuing fights and bickering will go away.

I would rather the guy have been Prince or Nat Turner (they're the other go to black guys for Burning Angel), but I was overjoyed when I saw that update.
I strongly doubt Brothalovers pays anyone extra to shoot with a black man. The ideology behind that website wouldn't seem to allow it. Anyway, I've written multiple times on this thread that pornstars getting paid more to shoot with a black man is only one symptom of a larger problem. I reminded a member of this back on page 10:
Other IR fans might disagree of course. Edited by - misspornUSA on 7/7/2015 11:51:11 AM Edited by - misspornUSA on 7/7/2015 11:55:36 AM
That was my point and what was said about Nikki when she accepted the scene with Lex wasn't true, also those a BL claim that their is her first IR if true that would be a strong evedence supporting her
Murdock has a point. Sadly, too many of my fellow IR fans are too quick to throw the "racist" label around. I resent how casual they are with it. I think it's very unproductive, even destructive to be so aggressively judgmental. I'm a big IR fan of course, but I am very reluctant to label someone racist just because they may prefer not doing IR. To do so, and call someone racist because they prefer not to do it, I think means you can almost as easily label IR fans in general racist, simply by reinforcing the notion of race. People use the term so broadly, but technically I think anyone who even believes in "Race" is a racist. Nevermind beliefs of superiority or inferiority. Race values are only as strong as those who hold them. By putting so much importance on IR that many will only watch IR, they are inherently attributing a superior value based on racial discrimination. It may not be a moral judgment, but just a natural preference or matter of taste; however, this is the same way many porn performers feel. Racism is like religion. It's only as strong as the adherents' belief. If not overtly (although it certainly is overt in many cases), then subconsciously people who prefer IR are asserting that some race dynamics are more important than others. It's like two sides of the same coin. On one side, there's opposition, typified by the old bigoted Southern white (a stereotype in itself), who is most opposed to a white woman with a black man. Then there's the proponents who think WF+BM is the best. They are both subscribing to hierarchical prioritizing or "ranking" based on racial discrimination. I will say the former is definitely less sympathetic or reasonable, but the latter, in some way, still reinforces racial discrimination. One misconception people have in their social-justice-warring is that the IR category exists because of intolerant racists who seek to segregate the industry. On the contrary, the much more practical reason the category exists is because it helps consumers who LIKE interracial porn find what they are looking for. I have no problem with the existence of the category. It's just a tag like thousands of others which help describe the content. Stockings, MILFS, toys, etc. I would disagree with the assertion that most IR fans are racist though. That's a bit much, unless you agree with the idea that merely acknowledging the concept of races, which is to say making any sort of sentient distinction, however superficial, is racism. In that case, pretty much the whole world is racist. As I heard the professor Henry Gates say, I think quoting Cornel West, we are all recovering racists. This idea predates everyone, stemming from as far back as ancient times. It's just one way out of many in which people distinguish themselves from others, like language and religion. Language is real and practical though, so I think bigotry there is less strident. With race and religion though, there is much stronger bigotry, which is ironic because of how fabricated these ideas are. It's as though the more phony something is, the stronger people feel about it. But if you ask rational men and women of science, they will tell you race is virtually meaningless from a precise scientific standpoint. Definitely nothing to derive moral beliefs about. I'm just digressing now!
A great sum up Melvyn, though I'd add one point a skin tone might be attractive by itself for many , like hair colors , there are those who prefer blondes over brunettes for example , brown eyes over green eyes or even black skin over white ,muscled over slim and so on , bubble asses over fat ones, , being sexual attraction I wouldn't go much further than this in most cases , that included pornstars tastes over men and women. Nobody here is harassing say Xander Corvus for not fucking plump women or Grannies , it is implied that he goes only where he likes to go , but for some reason this simple fact doesn't always apply especially when IR is involved Edited by - LCF on 7/8/2015 8:47:56 AM

^If you're talking about the "I'm not attracted to black men" excuse, I'd guess that only a very tiny minority of pornstars don't shoot IR for that reason. You already saw my brief discussion of this on Kota's Sky's thread. Pornstars by and large do not only shoot with people whom they are attracted to.
^I've seen/ multiple interviews where well known girls were asked my they don't work with black guys and they said attraction then later in the same interview was asked would you work with a fat guy and the answer was always something to the tone if "I could find someone attractive about anyone". Things like that always lead me to believe that excuse was BS.

^At the very least, the picture suggests that Tee Reel and his friend consider it within the realm of possibility that Rachel might be attracted to them.
I believe the "not attracted to" excuse is an easy out for some women but I still tend to give women a pass when they talk about who they're not "attracted" to. Women are different than men when it comes to that sort of stuff. With men when they say they aren't attracted to someone it's usually all about the looks and little else. However, when women say they aren't attracted to someone it can be more complex and not always based solely on looks. There are plenty of women "attracted" to Mick Jagger and it has nothing to do with looks. I tend to think Brian Pumper is a good looking guy as far as porn guys go but he's rarely if ever the guy white women want to shot their first IR with. They tended to go much more with guys like Sean Michaels or Mr Marcus. Tabitha Stevens used to like having sex with Ron Jeremy because she liked him and she said he was fun to be around. The best looking girls don't always end up with the best looking guys. With me personally, I'm not always into the most attractive girls when it comes to porn or real life. I could see that a girl who migt not have spent that much time around black guys or the black guys she's been around give off a vibe she doesn't like saying she's not "attracted" to them...but doesn't have a problem being with an uglier white guy. This isn't anything that unusual because it happens all the time in real life. That's not me saying that every girl who uses that excuse actually feels that way and some are using it to not have sex with a black guy...and some of you will say that shouldn't matter because they're getting paid to have sex with guys regardless of how they feel about them...but I can see how for at least some girls they might fel that way and it's not all about looks or skin color.

^ Yup. The general problem with the "not attracted to" excuse is that the majority of the time it's not only bullshit, it's fairly clearly bullshit. And I'm not just talking about the "but you had sex with Ron Jeremy" retort that used to be common. To use a simple example, there was a girl I actually really like who used that excuse, but on her Twitter account would fawn over Drake. I think I've said this before, but I'd generally appreciate it much more if those women just said "I don't want to shoot it" or "No one's made a good offer yet". Me personally, I don't really have a problem with what any girl decides to shoot or not shoot, I just don't like the BS excuses that come along with it.

Some are some aren't, I don't think most are true blue racists though, I'd say maybe less than 20% are. And the majority of the women who don't do such scenes do so because of their agents and directors who tell them not to do them because they legitimately are racist.
Given that the label of IR doesn't apply to Asian/white, Latino/Asian, White/latino pairings but only to Black + any other group, that makes it plain that racism is the motivation for the segregating of Black talent and the scenes they do with anyone into a separate category. Also since that's the primary reason for it that makes clear IR isn't simply a neutral tag to describe the content like with other scenes.
West and Gates are both wrong though. For while everyone has biases of varying sorts, specific biases like racism in the US are a direct result of slavery. In Europe as well this is found. Because Pre-Slavery the racism seen now simply wasn't there. And as for the not attracted excuse, that's clearly a false reason as who they work with isn't based on attraction. And they certainly don't raise the issue when paired with latino or asian men. Edited by - Zy28 on 7/9/2015 1:47:14 AM
^ I don't even think the agents who are telling girls not to do it are racist (for the most part, there are exceptions). There's just this idea of how a career is supposed to go, and for the majority of them their recommendation is to do as little as possible when you start, and ask for a big payday for each successive thing you add to your repertoire. With the "new money" in IR (i.e. Blacked) making agents more likely to hold on to that specifically because there's now more competition and more demand for first IR scenes. I only know of one agent who doesn't recommend the "wait to do everything approach", and that's Speigler, and even then he still has girls that hold out on doing different things (Riley Reid not doing anal, Carter Cruise not doing IR until recently) for their own reasons.

Agreed on the performers. (though I personally wouldn't speculate on the percentage) Not positive if I'm reading the latter part right, but if you're suggesting the agents and directors are legitimately racist, then I'm not really on board with that. I suppose some likely are, but I see no reason to paint them all with such a broad brush.
Exactly. The term "interracial" as it exists outside of porn is fine. But "IR" in porn has a completely different meaning and is inherently discriminatory.
Really? Have you looked at the track records of pretty much every European explorer? They pretty much invented slavery and racism. Racism wasn't prevalent hundreds of years ago because different cultures and races generally never came into contact with one another. The very moment the globalization of our planet started, so did slavery. With very few exceptions whenever Anglo-Europeans came across a new race, they were deemed "savages" and they promptly went about conquering and enslaving them or at the very least, exploiting them. The irony being the earliest large scale example I'm aware of was invented by Africans. (specifically that pesky Pharaoh in Egypt)
I'm not really buying that logic, for a few reasons. 1) Your conclusion means that a woman is either attracted to white men exclusively or everyone. It's very possible that a woman could be attracted to Latino or Asian men and not black men. 2) I've never heard of a pornstar addressing the issue of Latino or Asian men. Plenty of people hound them constantly about black men, but if no one is asking about Latino or Asian men how can we make any conclusions about their feeling towards them? 3) Different performers are going to draw the line at different places. Some performers will shoot a scene with anybody (especially if the money is right) other might avoid scenes with men they find unattractive. Yet others (especially if they are popular) might have the luxury of only performing with men they are actually attracted to. Point being there is a big difference between finding someone attractive and not finding them unattractive (even if the double-negative would lead you to believe otherwise) But I think for most, it's going to be a sliding scale. It's going to matter how attractive (or unattractive) they find a person and how much money they're going to make. (and probably plenty of other factors too) Trying to simplify it to "would she fuck him for free in real life" is like trying to figure out what NBA free agent is going to pick a team based on "would he play for them for free." Guys like David West are leaving millions on the table to go play for a contender, while a guy like DeAndre Jordan is getting a pay raise to continue playing with a team that considers him a liability, treats him like crap, and is generally awful to him. Point being everybody draws their own line someplace different. That's not to say that every girl that uses that excuse is being genuine. I'm sure it's a cop out for some of them, but again, I'm not going to speculate on percentages. It serves no purpose and there is no way to verify it even if it did serve a purpose. That's why I generally don't like asking performers about this stuff in the first place. I suspect in most cases, the people asking have already made up their minds, so the answer they get is meaningless, and all it really does is tend to polarize people (see: this thread and countless others regarding IR) based on something that is completely unverifiable. At the end of the day, you either like a performer, or you don't and you're either going to watch their scenes or you're not. I think very few people are actually swayed by how these performers answer questions (nor should they be, as we have no way of knowing when they are being genuine or not)
Maybe. Maybe not. I don't think it would automatically make for better sex scenes. In my opinion from what I've seen the girls who work with their husband/boyfriend, those don't ever end up being their best scenes. You'd think that an actual couple would end up with the best scenes but I don't see that as the case.
Absolutely. The thing is that people only know about or pay attention when a girl gives the "not attracted to" reason for black men but it's possible that girl might have a list of men in porn of different races, ages, looks, etc., of guys they aren't attracted to and don't have sex with. But many people assume that their "not attracted" is limited to black guys and everyone else is okay. But since the girls are rarely asked to elaborate on their "not attracted to" once they hear she isn't attracted to black men people just assume she's okay with everyone else or they see she did a scene with someone they don't think is good looking and just assume she'll bang any anyone.
^ Belle Knox almost left the set when coupled to Steven St Croix because of his too aged looking , she said it's too old , they were able to convince her to perform still , but if you read the interviews of Captain Jack you will notice many stars even veterans didn't work with men older that 35 or maybe 40 Nobody gets bothered about that Edited by - LCF on 7/9/2015 9:03:00 AM
^She still did the scene though, so what's the problem? If she showed up to set and the male talent was black, do you really think she would have stayed to do the scene? Fuck no.

I'm surprise that this thread lasted 16 pages without getting locked or Murdock starting fights with IR fans on here but let just kept it going. Anyway some girls who do IR but they not attracted to black men too but do it for the money. Carter Cruise said here in this thread she didn't get a bigger paid for IR but after watching her second IR scene on Blacked.com she looks like she didn't want to be there. You can tell by her face she wasn't really into it which will lead this feature movie will failed and it would looks bad on Blacked.com brand. But there are girls who charge more for IR then anal, I saw this tweet from Ava Addams who only does IR for her website. Ever more worst IR fans are calling her racist because she does IR on her sites and ever won't anal, dps, or ever dap with black men. I'm not a big fan of her but she got a point in all of this because she ever said there are girls who charge more money for IR are racist themselves. She won't ever give outs names but she know who they are. Adriana Chechik after that Howard Stern interview last years were she accused of been a racist haven't could have cost her a big pay for her 1st IR scene with Lex. She only did two IR scenes one with Lex, and Sean Michaels for Evil Angels, she haven't been getting request for IR scene on Blacked.com or Dogfart thread or ever on Twitter because of that whole Stern interview. So I guess she is on some black male no list now, if she wouldn't said that she would had gotten a bigger paid for her 1st IR, and could shot more IR scenes. But that Howard Stern video on YouTube is going to be there for ever. So I know both Adriana and Ava are reading this thread right now just like Nikki Benz and Carter Cruise came on here too.
There is one big time agency that I hear rumor of that is against there performers to do IR, and even the owners is racist too. There are girls who used to worked with that agency told stories on how bad they were treated, and won't let them do IR. I think Speigler is the only agent who have no problems or no issue with IR which is a good thing. We need more agents like him and Lisa Ann to run the industry because they are against racism.

I was thinking more of the scenes directed by people who pair performers based in large part on mutual attraction. That sort of casting is common in "feminist" porn (though not restricted to it) and I think that most viewers would agree that it makes a difference. I tend to avoid watching one on one scenes with married couples. I'm not sure why, but the performers being married tends to weird me out and turn me off.
